Thanks for another excellent video. I may have missed it, but how about "The Type of Expats To Avoid"? I hope I am not offending anyone, but there is an increasing number of reports of expats who cannot afford to retire in their home country and so attempt to live in the Philippines, Thailand or Cambodia with only their social security checks to fund their stay. Or, heaven forbid, expats who are looking only for physical beauty and youth and not compatibility or genuine love. On the other hand, many Filipinas, especially those from the provinces who have not had much contact with foreigners, ASSUME that all expats are rich. We don't doubt their honest intentions or assumptions - on either party - but it takes only ONE accident or a health emergency or an extra-marital tryst, for a relationship to implode.
Over 100 Comments 16 minutes in I am getting closer will have to try harder next time.......Hope all goes well for you this week Ms Pea.......A Car Fax for Philippines..........You are a real treasure....Keep the informative videos coming Ms Pea.......
I walked through the mall once with a first date. She headed right for the Watsons, asked if I could buy her something (was like 300 pesos) and I said sure. She then picked up a basket and put that item in it and went shopping all around the store filling it up. After 5 mins I asked her who was going to pay for all of that and she said, "You are". That's when I left.
Great advice thank you Pea. When I began communicating with my wife before we were married, I was told that international communication was expensive for Filipinas, and I wanted to help her. I had to ask her three times for her ID details so that I could send her a small amount. She said to me once, "You can send me money if you want to, but I don't really need it. I'm used to trusting God to provide for my needs." What a woman! I found that really attractive in her when I discovered the abject poverty that she was living in. Eighteen years of marriage later she is still the kind of woman that every man needs.
Yes it seems from what I've seen online is it's the men trying to push money onto Filipinas rather than the Filipinas asking. Filipina talk and have learned asking for money can end an LDR. Those playing the long game would never accept money no matter what. Scammer know this too so they ask for money quickly to weed through men to get to the men who feel the need to push money onto a woman to feel more secure. Those are the whales for them.
My Mexicana was born in a two room adobe shack and lived there until she moved to the US. We met a year and a half later, 37 years ago. I just finished the breakfast she cooked me.
I can listen to you speak all day. Your diction and use of grammar are superb. No' like like likes' and ' I went' or 'I go' instead of saying simply' said'. I wish persons in western countries , whose language main is supposed to be English, could speak as you do. Well done you !
@@wingnut71 It is strange, I feel uncomfortable if I see local women dating foreigners while these guys literally couldn't care less. Filipinas and Brazilians not only do that but even market themselves to foreign men constantly. If I was Filipino, I would find that deeply upsetting and depressing, insane levels of emasculation.
I told this Filipino guy online that I hated everybody, especially him. He friend requested me on Facebook. Works with women as well. That's where I got it from.
My Filipina wife was happy with her life in the Philippines. She was not desperate to leave or be married. We took our time to discover who each other was and what was important. I'm thankful for the time we spent apart talking through important issues before we decided to take the plunge. She also never ever asked me for money or gifts. She was single and still living at home with her parents.
That's the same with my filipina I've been talking to since July. She bought the house she lives in with her parents and siblings, plus she's a teacher and is working on another degree. I'm flying to see her in April.
@@MateDrinker33actually he wanted Filipinas. The pesos were just because he needed pesos to keep enough of the indigenous women from complaining about his promiscuous ways. You have seen the original series right? Was there any planet or ship where he didn’t chase the females?
I have not followed Filipina pea for several years . Once I met my Filipina I stopped. Before , I met my asawa ..I listened to her videos…. There is not any person on UA-cam that is more knowledgeable and gives, such a wake up call and great advice . USA brothers listen to her she is the Filipina PEA.
@@TheFilipinaPeaeven I know all this you talk about I just love your videos. And I still stand strong. If want a Filipina without any worries and guarantee a good wife quality and mother. The Filipina Pea is the best option but sadly she is taken already. Bless you Miss Pea and your Americano.
I think I watched this video before but it didn't sink in because I was flying back from the Philippines last week. After I watched it again it has really cleared up the things that have been bothering me Thanks Pea
I love this video. I have encountered each and every "scam" type that you described in this video. But it has also confirmed to me what I already knew, that my current Filipina girlfriend of 2 years is everything that is "Good" and beautiful in a Filipina partner. As my junior of 10 years, I am blessed that she loves me and has chosen to be with me. And at the perfect age of 38, she looks 28. So thank you for putting out such a valid and important video to help those in their search for their perfect Filipina soulmate. I am blessed that I have found mine, and will be moving to the PH in February to be with her full time.
Great vid, Pea. Having chatted and "dated" several Pinays online, I found your commentary 100% on point. There was a woman in Legazpi that had me tooth and nail for nearly a year. She was very sweet and I thought sincere, but she raised most (if not all) the red flags you mentioned. If you're ever in Legazpi, I'll buy you dinner at the resto she works at if you'd gently "troll" her for me. Char!
Pea... what amazes me is that I speak on a 3rd year college level...and your English is better than mine. I'm very impressed with your acumen. I just finally realized that. I enjoy the way you phrase your sentences. You should consider writing a book... I'd buy it.
@@guydent9046 Says the person who doesn't know how to use capitalization! When you have a first grade education then maybe you can try to speak with some amount of intelligence but I doubt it.
@@marciestoddard730 But even then, my point wasn't that she SPOKE English. But she speaks it with more intelligence, forethought, and eloquence than MOST native English speakers do. Her level of comprehension is well above yours... and her ability to articulate is more fluid than most people that I am around; and I'm around some very intelligent people.
Brilliant ending! I am moving to the area in October and watched your videos just to gain some cultural awareness. I have lived on the island of Roatan for 15 years in Honduras and have seen every scam known to women and men (they both get scammed here). I am glad you give people an awareness of it before they arrive. The sad thing is that as you talk about a Philippine's insecurity, there are many people with emotional holes in their own lives that make them perfect targets for these cons as they so want the truth to be what they want it to be rather than the facts. The good people are the ones who actually do not ask but, of course, would like your resources! They have pride and self-worth and would never be upfront about asking for it. There is almost a mathematical rule as to how fast you are asked for money and how fast you should run from a situation. The easiest and biggest warning sign is a sense of urgency. Whenever they need money desperately, it is 99% of the time a con. The reasons they ask range from a sudden death/sickness of a mother/aunt/baby to a lost ID/phone, etc. Having said all that, there are always good people out there. So if you have been in a relationship with someone for a while who works and struggles to get to work, then maybe help her buy a bike, moto, etc. Notice I said help. Try not to just give gifts; it changes the nature of your relationship. Also, I have seen men who think that because they bought a "gift" or helped a person, that person owes them. No, they don't. They are still a human being with their own feelings and rights and can walk away from you for any reason the next day. So if you give something, structure it as help, but know that money is gone, and they don't owe you anything. Get over it. Thank for trying to help people from both sides understand each other.
My advice is look for a girl that’s already happy with her life . Watch out for explosive anger disorder. Depression. Or any sign of ptsd or any personality disorders.
Those were the issues of the girl I came here for. Her family were distanced and dysfunctional. I advise these guys to just study the parents and siblings. Whatever they are, is who your girl is as well
Excellent video, Pea!! And you’re so right about once announcing the relationship on Facebook… She got hit up immediately by a bunch of people she hadn’t heard from in years for money like she won the lottery. Anyway, lots of information in here for sure!!!
Your content seems well thought out and organized. It's extremely tempting when you're an abjectly lonely man who's been rejected time and time again, and a beautiful woman, such as yourself, showers you with attention. You can quickly lose yourself and ignore red flags.
Semi agree to this but Steph curry shoots 37% from 3 point range. He misses more than he hits, rejection is part success. Being in shape, actual healthy not American healthy, and decent employment.
But when there are no red flags, oh what a wonderful feeling to be free to express yourself and receive feedback that is positive and they play to win-win. Hang in there buddy. Worth it
1.) If she asks you to buy her a house and lot on the 1st date-RUN! 2.) If she has a job and stops working after you begin dating her-WALK! 3.) If she tells you she has children or a child after telling you she had no children earlier in the relationship, smile and say now you are single to choose a new boyfriend and leave the country.
(reposting because it's good) Wickedness looks pretty much the same in any culture and nationality. You know what else looks the same? Real selfless love! Good point! People totally forget to look for the quality of character, and instead focus on good looks. Physical attraction alone doesn't last. What is lasting is attraction to the qualities of God in each other.
Pea, as usual you nailed it on this one. The only way to truly know anyone is seeing them in the flesh. Those you meet online are running a game. Maybe its the long game or some take only a couple days before money sneaks into the conversation. A very low percentage are real. Great video. Have a great day Pea.
True online is fantasy. However, I think it's delusional to think you can ever "know" another person. It's normal for people change. Sometimes the change brings them closer, sometimes not. To me a partner should always be vetted during the relationship and we should be vetting ourselves too. We change too. How we act in a relationship is super important. If we spoil a woman she will be happy for a time but then become unhappy. A spoiled person can never be happy because they always want more. That's on the guy. We started out with a nice woman and created a monster.
Well, good luck to you in getting to know someone online. If there’s no money changing hands you have a chance at that. But we’re talking about people (woman) who are looking to scam you because they either so poor there is no other way or there are those who have gotten good at because foreigners have created a monster because they stupidly send money thinking she will be his one true love 🤭. So if you don’t video chat you don’t even know if she’s a woman. And even then she’s different from the photos she posted. What does that say? Woman use imaging software for a reason. No not miss understand me. These are some good people. But if you think you can get to know someone well enough to consider dating or more. Good Luck fella.
Yes, I always let the ads play in a Pea video. Unless it is five minutes or longer. Then I might go wash the dishes or start a load of laundry while I ignore it.😂😂😂
So much information. I was so lucky to work with many Filipinas. I fell in love multiple times...but I could not tell them. What a joy to think about them.
Look, I'm disabled (can't work) and fat and yet Filipina women give me a chance. You shouldn't throw away chances for a happy life, like you did. Someone "better" - shouldn't you have let those women decide who's better for them? Maybe you were.
Always insightful.🙂 You interviewed Filipinas on the street in Dumaguete/Valencia recently that were seemingly ideal marriage material with the right values, intelligent, "mature", thoughtful, honest, and beautiful, most likely university students. It seemed to me they would never use a dating website, and the only way to find someone of this quality would be to go there and by happenstance meet them in person and strike up a conversation to see if the chemistry was right, and then date for several months to vet and see if there was depth to the relationship. It seems to me the online dating marketplace is the wrong, or at least a risky, format for finding quality relationships.
I’ve been married to a beautiful Filipina for almost 31 years. We met in San Diego, California in 1988 and we’ve been together full time since 1990. She’s a much better woman than any of the non-Filipina women I dated before her.
You hit the nail on the head. I've found more than my share of Filipina/Ferengi high breds. Not in the looks department. But they seemed to know and live by all of the laws of acquisition. Thanks to you, I am no longer interested in sending. BTW, another red flag is if they already have a half of dozen profiles on fb or if they have multiple ways to receive money. It just doesn't set right. Thanks for always being our wing girl, Pea of wisdom ❤❤❤ I pray that your family is well (update, maybe).
Many educated Filipinas with good jobs are often attracted to men aged 40 and above because they look for maturity and stability in a partner. Some younger Filipino men may not be interested in serious relationships, so these women look for partners overseas. If you're looking for a serious relationship, be patient and take your time to find the right person. Work on being the kind of man a good/decent Filipina would want-mature, stable, and dependable. Being clear about your intentions from the start will help you find a relationship that fits your values and goals.
A complete pleasure as usual; and wow! what a treasure trove of info! Thank you, Pea. BTW, I liked the naughty ending of the Star Trek shoot original better.
I been watching your videos from the beginning and I have to say as a presenter and as a woman your up there for me only very few female presenters are projecting good 100% pure honesty and your definitely one of them.
Thanks as always Pea! My wife has a relative with a husband that is scamming someone. If I had any way I would warn him off then I would, but I'm sure she uses a different FB profile. Beware if you see any man around at strange times guys!
Only way to avoid bad choices is to know what are good choices for you. You attract what you are, not what you want. You have to change if you want to attract better.
I agree. You know there are overwhelming majority of Filipinas who are decent, educated and financially independent. They are working in thr governments and private stable companies of course it would be hard for an old expats to get those kind of best quality because they does not advertise their bodies lol. Those mostly Filipinas that are got by old expats are those coming from poor families, uneducated, with big family members without stable income and are bread winners being relied by the family financially.
Yeah true. Im living it right now. In my 20s I had a good run with girls in Jr college. I always cheated though. So now women that are getting involved with me are ones in relationships. It's all bad karma man.

Great advice Pea. My personal experience with the Philippines dating apps is 98% scammers. Only one of them made a real effort to clean them out of their app. I have met two women out of hundreds that I met online. Neither of them became anything more than friends. Both of them are really great people and we will probably be friends for a long time.
Pea, Lolo D here! Another great video. When I met my wife it was on our Church singles site (we were both widowed within 2 weeks of each other) she was in England I was in the state of Georgia (I was working for the U.S. Government). We chatted back and forth for about 4 1/2 hours and then the next day took it to Skype we both wanted to cancel the single site. We Skyped and texted and called each other every day for over a year (including the visits to England). Her son was 4 when her husband (much older) died so he doesn’t really remember his dad much and has always looked at me as his father (I legally adopted him). She never asked for any money, in fact there were things we did that she insisted on paying for (a very independent woman) . She uses minimal makeup, a neutral lip color maybe a little powder on her cheeks that’s it (her eyes are naturally beautiful just as she is!) she dresses very conservatively and has long black hair (not quite as long as yours though). Not only a Bea woman physically, but her personality too. I struck Gold Pea! I hope other guys are as lucky as I am! Good to see another great video Pea! Keep up the great work (consider that stand up career)😁 Lolo D
Guys who need to hear it won't. Many White Knights going to PH. Seems like 80-90% at least from social media. I'm not sure it's a bad thing. Maybe better to let the White Knights be. They sure don't seem interested in changing.
Hello Pea, enjoyed your video. You’re always full of knowledge and wisdom. Have a great week as you continue to boldly go where no Filipina has gone before!
Good on you. My nephew got burned in a Filippina relationship and gives me an insight toward his disappointment. Great vetting insight. Thanks. Loved the ending also.
Wow. The sage of Filipinas gives wisdom, again. I have been a follower almost from the beginning. I have been traveling in the Philippines for 4 months. I am just now beginning to completely absorb everything. I finally relate to almost everything you say. Living the dream and learning the hard way….thanks for your insight. Keep doing your thing.
Fidelity and honesty are the two most important things in the world to me. My obsession with truth is most certainly fueled by a “Once bitten, twice shy” scenario. I would seriously just LOVE for my next relationship to be one where neither of us even felt like we needed to deceive one another… one of those bonds where you are truly best friends. In a perfect world, it would have been one relationship forever, but even though that wasn’t in the cards for me, I still hold out a great deal of hope that there is an awesome human being out there just waiting for me. 🙂
Good words. I’d include reverence. Yet every and, means you end up paying more and harder to find And beautiful And submissive And cooks top notch And fluffs the pillows daily And …….
Pea, you are great. Watching you is truly more interesting than watching a movie at a theater, a person learns much more and is guaranteed to be satisfied.
I have been very fortunate with my Filipina wife. We've known each other for 7 years, together 3 years and married for 2 years. With the exception of a few times she has never asked me for anything. We're still waiting on her Visa, but she works in Hong Kong for the time being. I still help her out because they still pay very little in comparison to the work she does. Never had any of the other red flags as well. She can be stubborn and hard headed at times though 😅. I'm very fortunate and happy that I got a good one 😊. Thanks for another great episode, Pea!

I'd disagree with it being a big issue in the west but in PH it's definitely a "stay away" sign that she probably had a wild time at some point in her life.
I'm going to the Philippines for the first time in less than two weeks. I'll only be there for a week because that's all I can get off work at the moment. Yes, I will absolutely smash there, but I have no delusions about the depth of the relationships I'll have with the girls I meet there. I'm essentially paying for companionship so they'll join me on the outdoor adventures I embark on by buying them clothes, food, or a part of their tuition or books for the semester. Fair deal for both parties. And I'm also not going there just for the companionship. It's my initial dive into the culture there first hand and to feel it out and explore with the mindset of deciding if I eventually want to plant down roots and start a family there. I'll mostly be going to cities, with a few provinces and tourist towns along the way. If it goes well, I'll return for a deeper exploration and visiting more of the provincial areas during a longer follow-up trip in November. Pretty stoked, man. 🤟🏻😄 I have you, Legion of Men, and my dad who married a Filipina to thank as inspiration for all the research and planning that led up to this. 👍🏻
No judgement but I actually disagree with this approach. Just as a wife has to be a wife before she gets married, a man should be a husband first. It’s psychological Pair bonding isn’t easy
Before the wife, I dated a girl that I knew had passionate religious beliefs. But after a month or so, I started seeing how much that was. Now I don't fault her or anyone in this matter, if it works for you great. But she wanted me to start attending services and group discussion, that's where I said, nope, I don't want to feel forced to do something that I am not comfortable with or really believe in. Needless to say it was over soon after because she kept trying even after my objections
My ex Pinay claimed to be a devout Catholic. She even taught the kids, in something similar to Sunday School. Apparently she forgot their sixth commandment, which is why she's an ex wife.

Immediately ditch any woman who asks for money or hints at it. You should only spend money if you are living together in a relationship. Otherwise she’s a scammer and if you are stupid enough to pay she’ll keep asking for more and more.
One of the challenges for foreigners coming to The Philippines is that they often have a limited time (say 2 weeks in many cases) and they want to find a gal in that time as they feel it should be easier and they heard so many good things about places like Philippines. Because their time is limited, the type of girls they tend to often "connect" with are the gals who are more aggressive. Bar-girls and scammers, and similar no-good girls. Traditional and nice gals take in most cases a much longer courtship process and they often aren't able to get the time right in the short time they are there - or get as much from it. Some of the younger westerners particularly lack the patience even if they are looking for a long term relationship. The red flags that exist in the west are not dis-similar as those in Philippines. A bar-girl or party girl is not going to be high quality and not good for long term relationship - but they are the easiest to meet. Yes, there are many traditional and nice beautiful gals there, but it takes a different approach to connect with them. Also, the dating sites have TONS of scammers. You need to verify by videocam the gal is who she says she is fas soon as you can. Almost no girl is unable to do videocam, it is free on most apps and just about all Filipinos have a phone at least. And the profile should not have a peerfectly air-brushed looking photo, or very little unique information on it. I would not continue any correspondence with a girl who is unable to videocam to verify who they are. If they ask money, automatic disqualification no matter what reason they give. Guys coming from the west might be well served to establish a friendship online first if possible (but you MUST have video cam with them and verify who they are and chat that way before meeting them). IF you plan a trip to Philippines, you can schedule to meet them in person - if you already met them on videeocam and vetted other things and she seems genuine. THen can continue the vetting process in person once there for relationship and more. You can always continue the correspondence after you return home and take things step by step. There's a lot more that can be said about this (I met my wife there so know all about it) but this is a decent begining without writing a novel. :D
Before the days of web cams, many got suckered in to petitions. Also, most didn't know about "utang na loob" until after the green card was issued. Only "fix" is to not petition, not have kids, and just have fun when on vacation. But, that's difficult now. Also, even being a live-in pretty much guarantees the female will already have kids and/or wanting money for an extended family. There's really no solution.
Pea, you are GREAT! I’ve visited twice (2011 and 2016) looking to visit again. I can attest first hand your information is always right on and what foreigners need to know. Plus you have a great way of making your videos, too.
No idea how I ended up on this channel but great content. Insightful in not just your culture but women in general. It benefits us all to understand the other side.
A used car is what it is. You can see what you're getting. The concept that "not moving quickly" is a little silly. People change. A Filipina looking for a foreigner will be in love with being with a foreigner. Many say they dreamed about it for years. But after some months, a year, of being with a foreigner, or anyone, reality starts to mess up the fantasy. That's when they start not wanting to be in the relationship. Same everywhere in the world. Females think primarily with feeling. They want to get married and any guy will do to fulfill that dream. It's the process they're in love with. For Filipinas it's the dream of being with a "wealthy foreigner" but they really don't even know why. Never traveled, eaten out, bought whatever. Then they start eating out a lot, traveling, buy lots of stuff and all that becomes "normal" and normal is boring. They start waking up.
@@TheFilipinaPeaActually men shop for women the same way they shop for cars. Once they make a commitment they believe they shouldn’t have to do any maintenance or repairs for 5 years. Women on the other hand look at relationships like gardening, you plant seeds, water, fertilize, weed and tend to it daily. No wonder we have problems.
@@MrWaterbugdesign "A Filipina looking for a foreigner will be in love with being with a foreigner" FALSE Some not all. "Females think primarily with feeling" TRUE. Never traveled, eaten out, bought whatever. Then they start eating out a lot, traveling, buy lots of stuff and all that becomes "normal" and normal is boring." WOW! After the stories I've heard on your UA-cam channel, if a filipina has a male best friend , cousin, brother or what ever hanging around all the time, I'm going to be very suspicious. I can see maybe the first date for safety, but that's it. After about a month, if she doesn't want me to meet her family, I may be suspicious as well. I refuse to start a relationship online, it has to be in person. I was in an LDR for a little over a year and it was very good. She couldn't get away from her job until her contract was up in Hong Kong, she was a filipina. The pretty girl next door type. We met making comments on each other's comments on UA-cam. Seems like a strange place to meet a woman. But we hit it off right away. However, she passed away April 7 2018 in Hong Kong. I've been single since. I watched her take her last breath. She kept saying she loves me and I'm sorry.
100% agree with you. Filipinas are also like many other races. Everyone is different. Not all filipinas are conservative and motherly or even wife material. Many of them can be pretty toxic and the liberal ones will usually drag you down to the bottom of the ocean so it's good to always be aware for such people.
You have to find someone who has respect, loyalty, faith, hard working and honest knows how to balance life with a good balance. If you find her don't let her go😁
Pea, this is what i call, 'choppin up some real game'😮😊... Many men, especially older ones, are not aware of how male/female interactions have evolved in the online world, and have trouble seeing intentions while blinded by attraction. The 'WhatsApp' information you provided was very interesting to me, as I've used that myself to keep touch with foreign friends....putting yourself in danger of being extorted is a real thing 😪. This 'wing woman' advice with a Filipina twist, translates on many levels, both east 🇵🇭 to west 🇺🇸. Thanks! 🌞

Dear Pea: After living in the Philippines for about three years, I dated several girls, but nothing came of it. Then I met a girl who really impressed me (big mistake). After six months I let her move in with me (big mistake). We lived together for two years (big mistake) before I asked her to marry me (big mistake), and she was thrilled (of course). She finally hooked her foreigner. We've been together for over ten years and they have been the best ten years of my life. Never once in all that time has she given me reason to regret my choice. Thank you Jenny for making my life perfect.
Aswome video. I had trouble with the first Filipino I was in a relationship with, and I started seeing all the signs. When I started backing off, she looked for someone else. I met another Filipina 8 months later who gave me my space. We chat every day and watch movies together. When I want to go camping, she tells me to have fun and that she will be here when I get back. I met her whole family already and spoke to her mother and father. She tells me her parents advise her on how to make marriage and relationships firm. I will be flying over next year to see her and the family. Her mom said I cannot cook while I'm there, lol. What I love about Pea is she will always give the right advice.
Great video as always Pea. I arrived in Cebu 2 days ago from America with plans to spend the month exploring the Philippines and make friends with the chance that one will be right for a relationship. But as we all know, life rarely works the way we want it to. We have to be able to adapt to the unexpected. For me, that is unexpectedly meeting a potentially amazing woman while visiting a friend in Austin TX. She spent the first 20 years of life in Haiti and was married in america for 20 years and has 2 kids. Her husband passed away 2 years ago. She and I met on Bumble and hit it off immediately. She speaks 5 languages, and is a positive person by default never complaining about what she doesn't have only what she is grateful for. Now, I find myself changing my focus from looking for the right Filipina to just enjoying the 28 hours it took me to get here and experience the beautiful people, culture and nature of the islands. Hopefully, I can make it to Dumaguete and update you on my progress in person. I may use Chona the lady you interviewed as a tour guide. Take care and great channel!
OMG, you've done it again. I've learned as much from you as I've learned from my experiences in the Philippines. I should have learned more by paying closer attention. But the many pesos I spent were spent with good intentions & helped those that benefited. Yes, I've been scammed. But I watch my limits and keep them low. In the end, needy Filipinas get some much needed assistance and I get an education. Win/win.
As long as you can afford it. The question is, what type of help is honest help. I suspect that many Filipina's are sincere in needing help when they ask for it (lying and cheating and fraud is different. DON'T EVER HELP A LIAR), but that doesn't mean they are going to fall in love with you for helping them. I helped my wife until I ran out of money and then she discarded me.
@@randyfocht737 sorry for your misfortune Randy. I have lost a fair amount to those who needed much. But I was careful not to lose more than I could afford. It's not easy to uncover deceit or even well intentioned but misplaced charity. I hope you heal and find your happiness where you can. The world offers much of it along with the bad. Namaste

P I am so proud of the job that you do. You are so amazing. Your your writing is phenomenal. Your stories are great. They are very informative even though I’ve been scammed so many times I can’t imagine what would’ve happened to me. If I hadn’t heard so many of your videos I haven’t had any luck at all. it’s actually been a nightmare, but I still appreciate what you do so much, God bless you
Sloooooow down Mike. I'm worried about you. You need a friend, a buddy, a wingman or someone to stop you going down the wrong roads.. You especially need to focus on good character and you will do OK. Be home by 7 pm as the bad stuff increases at night.
My Filipina girlfriend told me about another Filipina in her province that has children and is married who is dating an American. He has visited her twice for about a month. They travel together and live in hotels. The American has never met her relatives or children in the province and she hasn’t told him she has kids or is married. The American sends the Filipina $300 per month. The husband says he doesn’t care what his wife does as long as they keep getting the money, even if his wife leaves him for the foreigner and moves to America. The filipino husband says it is a practical matter and will take the money to care for the kids full time. It seems like prostitution and I am not sure how this story will end.
My wife of 21 years grew up among the urban poor in Cebu City. Fantastic woman that I thank God agreed to marry me. Growing up in that environment has caused her one true flaw. Tight fisted with money is putting it lightly. I understand and appreciate her frugality, but there are moments when it does become a matter of contention.
My Filipina ex grew up poor and was horribly irresponsible with money! The total opposite of your wonderful wife... And she was even college educated and had a white collar job, but it did not help.
Always was. But, for the extremely family oriented who are living there the lack of divorce or child support is what kept the female on good behaviour.

Good morning Sweet Pea.😊
If she lies I'm not dating her.idc what her race or religion is.
Lol
@@YouDcm My man, you did good
Well done
If she wants to buy something, give her example 500 pesos and don't go to the store with her, stay outside.
That's the old "taking advantage of an English misunderstanding" when in fact there was none. Ditto costs of drinks 50/500/5000 liars
I always like that claim (of course always without proof) "I'm used to trusting god to provide for my needs."
@haighton "nothing nice to say, say nothing at all", enjoy that qoute the most(without proof of coarse).
My Mexicana was born in a two room adobe shack and lived there until she moved to the US. We met a year and a half later, 37 years ago.
I just finished the breakfast she cooked me.
Does this advice vary with age?
I can listen to you speak all day. Your diction and use of grammar are superb. No' like like likes' and ' I went' or 'I go' instead of saying simply' said'. I wish persons in western countries , whose language main is supposed to be English, could speak as you do. Well done you !

When Filipino guys are impressed by this channel, you know it's good! 👍
Don't Filipino guys get upset with all these foreign men coming to take their women? Seems like they would be pissed.
I would say you sir are fortunate to find a woman like that, and she is lucky to have kept you.
That's the same with my filipina I've been talking to since July. She bought the house she lives in with her parents and siblings, plus she's a teacher and is working on another degree. I'm flying to see her in April.
The Trekkie ending was super cute Pea. I got a good laugh! Thanks, I needed that this morning.

I love this video. I have encountered each and every "scam" type that you described in this video. But it has also confirmed to me what I already knew, that my current Filipina girlfriend of 2 years is everything that is "Good" and beautiful in a Filipina partner. Great info Pea thanks so much
Agreed, God has blessed that little sweetheart.
Char!
😂
The outro skit is solid haha second only to your advice and immaculate use of the english lexicon
Pea... what amazes me is that I speak on a 3rd year college level...and your English is better than mine. I'm very impressed with your acumen. I just finally realized that. I enjoy the way you phrase your sentences. You should consider writing a book... I'd buy it.
Actually Phillipines has amazing English. In general, it's some of the best I've heard. I've traveled all over.
That says more about you, than her.

Subscribed and liked. Loved too!
Yes, the others generally give me the creeps, all those Know-It-All old dudes! 🙄
I really enjoyed the Star Trek bit you did at the end. You’re a really cool lady Pea!
🙏🏽
My advice is look for a girl that’s already happy with her life . Watch out for explosive anger disorder. Depression. Or any sign of ptsd or any personality disorders.
Those were the issues of the girl I came here for. Her family were distanced and dysfunctional. I advise these guys to just study the parents and siblings. Whatever they are, is who your girl is as well
Okay.
So basically, avoid everybody, especially normal people. That's what I do.
I've watched most of your videos and I have to say this one may be the most useful one I've seen. Keep up the great work!
Excellent video, Pea!! And you’re so right about once announcing the relationship on Facebook… She got hit up immediately by a bunch of people she hadn’t heard from in years for money like she won the lottery. Anyway, lots of information in here for sure!!!
Another great video. I loved the Star Trek ending. You're very creative.
@@MrWaterbugdesign I don't agree. I'm the same Asian fetish driven asshole at 77 as I was at 19 when Uncle Sam sent me to Bangkok.
But not "all the way in the flesh". PEA SAID RED FLAG, LEAVE ALONE THE HAG!!!

But she is American...
Thanks for always being our wing girl, Pea of wisdom ❤❤❤
I pray that your family is well (update, maybe).

Apparently for most men moving to PH a good choice is a married but single mom.

Another awesome video Pea....and really enjoyed your skit at the end...YOU DO GREAT WORK!
Yeah tattoos are a warning sign on filipinas. Sort of like here in the west as well.
Yea if they have chest or wrist tattoos red flag
Fortunately the woman in the thumbnail isn’t a real Filipina 🤣
@@s3renity274 - I get the chest tattoo, but what's the 411 on the wrist tattoo? Not a fan of "ink" in general, but not aware of the different meanings of the location.
Tattoos above her butt crack is the worst.
A fair exchange is no robbery!
Protect yourself! They will use the “I don’t like condoms” so unless you want diseases..also they’re hard to come by here so pack some lol
@@LRK1990 check, I'll bring some. Thanks for the tip!
No judgement but I actually disagree with this approach. Just as a wife has to be a wife before she gets married, a man should be a husband first. It’s psychological
Pair bonding isn’t easy
Before the wife, I dated a girl that I knew had passionate religious beliefs. But after a month or so, I started seeing how much that was. Now I don't fault her or anyone in this matter, if it works for you great. But she wanted me to start attending services and group discussion, that's where I said, nope, I don't want to feel forced to do something that I am not comfortable with or really believe in. Needless to say it was over soon after because she kept trying even after my objections
#toxicpressure 😳
Wow brother good job. Be honest. If after 2 weeks she keeps it up . Yea.
My ex Pinay claimed to be a devout Catholic. She even taught the kids, in something similar to Sunday School. Apparently she forgot their sixth commandment, which is why she's an ex wife.
@@49525Bob The sixth is "Honor thy father and thy mother." All the Pinays I've known well followed that one, sometimes more than my preference. Perhaps you meant the seventh.
I understand man but a church girl who isn’t faking it can be a real treasure. Not a red flag just a personal situation for you
Tell ya p,the videos I've watched from your channel.
Have all been, in my eyes. Sincere, direct and honest.
I believe many of us western men share that belief.
Keep up the good work.
Pea, that ending IS truly brilliant! Keep up the good work. We need it.

Most people, men and women, will spend more time researching a used car purchase than they do on looking hard at a prospective mate. Crazy.
WOW! That’s shocking - and stupid 😳
"They want to get married and any guy will do to fulfill that dream. It's the process they're in love with." FALSE Not even sure where you pulled that statistic from, but it stinks, so I can take a guess. "For Filipinas it's the dream of being with a "wealthy foreigner" but they really don't even know why. Never traveled, eaten out, bought whatever. Then they start eating out a lot, traveling, buy lots of stuff and all that becomes "normal" and normal is boring." WOW! I can tell you for a fact this is not true, and if you listen to many who are in loving relationships long term with a Filipina you would understand that. What is it like walking around all day with a rain cloud over you, Eeyore 🌩
@@MrWaterbugdesign Good point

Tell that to the chump's that keep
Putting them on pedestals
You have to find someone who has respect, loyalty, faith, hard working and honest knows how to balance life with a good balance. If you find her don't let her go😁

your videos are very very very very informative!!!!!!!!!!! excellent info!!!!!!
Thanks for your honesty, Pea. It's not easy to admit all the downsides of a culture, sometimes pride makes people pious or pigheaded.
Thanks! 🌞

And I rarely - rarely - wear yellow 🥺
@TheFilipinaPea you look great wearing anything, or nothing lol😊
Informative as usual, and the clip at the end was hilarious!
Dear Pea:
After living in the Philippines for about three years, I dated several girls, but nothing came of it.
Grow up. You are Not in no relationship with a woman 8000 miles away.
Not by yourself. Genius
Avoid:
- single moms
- heavily tattooed chicks
- girls from broken families
- anyone with a body count over 10
Hi Pea. I keep telling Fillippinas that I am poor. A friend created a new word: I am now a " Pooreigner ".
Reading comments while listening to Pea. Funny pooreigner😂
Keep up the good work, miss p.You are the Queen of the Philippines.Thank you for all your help
Namaste

Yup, it’s a very common scam 🥺
It IS prostitution, and the husband is a pimp. 🤑
It's always about the money folks...been coming to Asia since 1975....just saying I've seen and heard alot....
Ok I’m out of the comments. That’s the saddest thing I’ve read in a while.

That would be the least of my worries. You are one lucky dude,in that regard!
My Filipina ex grew up poor and was horribly irresponsible with money! The total opposite of your wonderful wife... And she was even college educated and had a white collar job, but it did not help.
Well done on the trekkie ending, a lot of work and hilarious!
Thank you so much for all your help and advice you're the Best Pea!!! Now I know what I need to do next.
All the Red Flags in the west are now the same in the Philippines 😥
Unfortunately, the entire world is learning bad behavior from the US
Always was. But, for the extremely family oriented who are living there the lack of divorce or child support is what kept the female on good behaviour.
