Deans channel is amazing. Because its not filled with 100k plus super cars its far more relatable to most viewers, and when he does do a porsche, or lambo, youre already hooked watching him explain how stuffs done.
Watching supercar and hypercar content is good, but the best content is more relateable. But not only that, if I had the time and money to race around tracks as fast as possible then I'd be researching the best track cars, not the best supercars. And I may well start with a Caterham 7 for £10k or £15k. And if I want fun on the road I honestly believe my last car (2L manual which you can drive foot to the floor all the time!) or my current car (£4k / 3L of 18 year old Z4) is as fun as something longer, wider and far to powerful to drive hard on the road.
Very entertaining 100percent The gents from England put out amazing videos. I’m hoping my son and I can put some Canadian content out there. Of course having snow takes away chances for seeing the Ferrari on the road. Keep it going folks.
Dean is one of the nice guys I think he’s one of the best on UA-cam and how he makes his videos keeps you interested without being boring and dragging out too long. He just does it right thanks Dean😊😊😊
Dean is spot, I love his channel and I've been watching from the start, the channel has evolved a lot in every way, even Dean you could tell he wasn't comfortable on camera but the was something about him that kept me watching and I think it's his honesty and he always seemed genuine. Well done Dean keep going fella.
Whilst I’ve watched Matt’s channel since the start and now Chris’s channel, I still prefer Deans channel and his content as others have said it’s more relatable. Dare I say it if he posts a video at the same time as the others Deans will always be my first view
Met Dean years ago when he was rebuilding the RS3 8P as I sold him a Miltek exhaust and some other bits off my own RS3 8P that I was putting back to stock. Knew then he'd succeed as he was a genuinely nice guy. One of the best channels on UA-cam as it's informative, detailed and humble.
Hello from Ireland, Dean is a true bloody Legend, and he does everything on his OWN. Picking up a Camera is the best thing Dean, could ever do. Thanks Dean. 🙏🙏👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Deans channel is a hit, and his compete for cars promotions.. he’s raffled of some cars , you can only dream of having.. only downside and it’s probably UA-cams issue. Is the episode headlines .. ‘ this engine is my worst nightmare’ etc etc. even this channel!! I got scammed by Copart‘ even though they didnt.. we don’t need click bait.
Dean deserves so much respect and recognition for the rebuilds that he does. Some of his projects are really special and very inspiring. He comes across as such a good guy 👍
Dean / Saving Salvage is such a great guy and his builds & content is so relatable. Dean was one of the first people to message me back on Instagram and gave me the confidence to pick up a camera myself and to give UA-cam & project car builds a go. Great podcast again Ben and thank you Dean for the nudge I needed to start.
I’ve been watching Dean for years now. Great guy. In my opinion he’s the best of the UA-cam car lads. For me it’s because he actually knows cars. I don’t mean this disrespectfully to the other UA-camrs. They’re good but Dean is knowledgeable and that’s proper for me.
The S3 was the car that made me subscribe. I was interested in one at the time, and he uploaded the first S3 video the day I was going through listings. Can't believe it's been almost 6 years.
Dean seems like a top lad, his channel is different to likes of Matt and Chris, saving salvage and and salvage rebuilds are more like the old wheeler dealer videos, definitely deserves more subs, this will definitely help
Been watching Saving Salvage since the first lockdown and still enjoy it. Dean has great skill and knowledge of the car repair business. He comes across as very patient but with bags of determination and has sorted some pretty challenging projects over the years but remains very modest about his achievements. A great channel to watch - hope it continues to grow.
Deans channel is superb, love Ben's podcasts. It would be amazing to see Chris and Rob from Salvage Rebuilds on here. that would be an amazing podcast.
Only discovered Dean in the last year, and as many said already, feels much more relatable, but also I don't know why but he just draws you in. I even quite like the raw time lapse without the music over lays. Really enjoy it, good work! One thing though I'm noticing is, despite the premise no one ever really talks about the UA-cam financials. Like how much of a build does a video cover if it does well? And is that just through ads revenue or sponsorship topped up? This is I think what we'd love to hear, but a few times your podcast titles have drawn you into thinking you might genuinely hear a bit more about it, but nope, still always left guessing. For me it's not about do they earn loads etc, it's like does a video cover a fraction of a build etc? The basics really. Think that's what anyone starting out would really want to know, the real story of it. What numbers you need to be realistically pulling in to get near a sustainable channel etc?
My key point for UA-cam is that I’ll obviously look for certain content ie car building, but the main thing is you’ve got to relate to and like the person you’re watching regardless of the topic
Found Dean's channel before Mat and the others....i don't like people comparing Dean to Mat, they are different channels. It's like comparing BBC news to Channel 4 news, they cover different stories in different ways. Dean's channel is strong....Mat was just about timing with Covid, if Covid had not have happened Mat wouldn't be where he is now 🤷♂️
I am not a car guy at all, for me they are just a way to get from a to b but I’ve been a subscriber of Dean’s channel for 3 years now! He’s such a genuinely great guy and I wish him all the best for the future
I love Dean's channel, a knowledgeable, honest guy and great presenter. Just wish Ben had let him speak a bit more instead of trying to tell all his own stories. First rule of interviewing - let them be the main subject and let them talk!
Dean and Mat Armstrong are THE best automotive content creators on UA-cam... Dean is still a very humble person. He has not let any of this fo to his head, and that's why he is doing so well 👍
What impressed me the most from all the car chat knowledge was finding out Dean still plays football. What I would give to kick a ball about with a few mates legend 👏 and to be fair Saving Salvage channel was a first to feature a full VW/AUDI engine tear down and rebuild to my knowledge great content and social feedback 👌
Dean, Ben, I totally agree with you about the M cars. My mates mum had a 1980s 3 series and his dad had a new 2010 M3 and you could sit in both of them and look at the dashboard and clocks and although there was a quarter of a century between them they looked very similar and ever since then I can't get in a BMW and not notice that. Audis are far more superior in looks and build quality...
I love dean. Followed from the beginning. For failed or difficult builds wasn’t their that flood damaged RS4 where the engine was in and out 3 or 4 time.
Dean is amazing youtuber love his content specially looking forward to the Skoda vrs with Audi rs3 engine fitted. He deserves over a million or so subs and suprised he hasn’t
Good to hear your story it sounds very similar to how I feel, it’s inspired me to just give it a go I have built loads off camera maybe it’s time to film it cheers
Just checked what the first video of Deans I watched and it was "I bought a CHEAP, ABANDONED Audi S3 8L! What's the catch?" So, Five years I've been watching. I very rarely comment but I do like every video I watch.
I remember Dean's very first video purely because he looked like a mate of mine..😂.. followed him since.. I'm actually going off Mat because it's no longer relatable content..I'm watching more and more driveway rebuilds like Cash Machine Cars and Todd Gibbs. Dean's still keeping it real. I'm rebuilding my Z3 but there's no point filming it as there's no cars to follow! 😂. Really like the Road To Success channel, keep it up Ben...
Great content GREAT guest. I have noticed thou that all the car repair channels I sub to ALL have to call Ricky at REPTUNED to get them out of the shite....HE is the actual GOAT
Great vid Agree not a big m car fan Had quite a few regular bmw But the interiors are not anything special for the money M2 comp is prob the only exception
Did you know you could check the history of any car in the UK or US, they might have been crashed or clocked so you could save the hassle. If you read this far it's not car vertical that's the problem 😅
Love deans Channel, but the whole raffle thing taking over these kinds of channels ruins it for me, I'm aware they have to make a profit etc but I don't know why, but it takes something away from the whole journey for me..
Mat is a better entertainer but its been a while that i feel that he lost that relatability with all those supercar rebuilds/content. Mat is all about pouring a ton of ridiculous amount of money on parts/cars/rebuilds Dean is a much more humble guy, maybe not that good of entertainer but his content is much more relatable thus i prefer his content
For an interview, there was 80 of split of the ginger talking bollox and not letting the subject of the interview talk. It’s all stories about him and his inherited money
Deans a nice bloke but wish he wouldn't do the car gambling he offers. It's just getting nieve stupid people into gambling without them even realising. I think its immoral and greedy. He's making enough from YT he's greed pushing him to want even more and In doing so he's promoting and opening his subscribers up to gambling.
You are not alone. I just dislike all BMWs until you get to the 7 series. They are overrated, uncomfortable, ugly and are generally driven by complete idiots
Deans channel is amazing. Because its not filled with 100k plus super cars its far more relatable to most viewers, and when he does do a porsche, or lambo, youre already hooked watching him explain how stuffs done.
lol every car he does , joe pu loc can't afford
100% agree!

Dean and salvage rebuilds uk are best on UA-cam.
Along with Matt and Chris slix . 👍 All brilliant and all different in there own ways.
I like this guy, he's one of the best amongst the UK's UA-camrs.
Dean is one of the nice guys I think he’s one of the best on UA-cam and how he makes his videos keeps you interested without being boring and dragging out too long. He just does it right thanks Dean😊😊😊

Glad you finally got Dean on, such a humble guy! Inspired me to start my own channel last year
Just sub to you buddy.
@ thanks appreciate it! 🤙🏼

One of the best and most genuine car youtubers
One of the best car channels on YT
Dean and the Wimpy Bros the only channels that would talk to me and give me advice when I started my channel. 🙌
love the shoutout to salvage rebuilds, they are not youtube specific...just filming their job
Dean / Saving Salvage is such a great guy and his builds & content is so relatable. Dean was one of the first people to message me back on Instagram and gave me the confidence to pick up a camera myself and to give UA-cam & project car builds a go.

Another belter Mr Fowler! What a great all round top guy!
Lovely guy. Always a pleasure to watch him. The gent of the salvage space.
You need to get Sreten from M539 Restorations, this would be a great interview.

Exactly, convid & folk sat around on furlough watching YT, Deans well better mechanic
Deans top of the tree and most of his cars he raffles off so we can dream of owning them
I am not a car guy at all, for me they are just a way to get from a to b but I’ve been a subscriber of Dean’s channel for 3 years now! He’s such a genuinely great guy and I wish him all the best for the future
What a nice humble man Dean is, one of my favourite youtubers
I love Dean's channel, a knowledgeable, honest guy and great presenter. Just wish Ben had let him speak a bit more instead of trying to tell all his own stories. First rule of interviewing - let them be the main subject and let them talk!
So true, he loves the sound of his own voice

Long time follower of yourself and saving salvage. Love you both

Great guy to watch, would love to see you do a restromod on an early 90s Audi coupe or a mk1 or 2 golf.
That would be amazing definitely
Dean is a top bloke, great content
Deans a great guy, great to see him on here! 💯 Still waiting for the TVR build 😉
I like them both, but Deans channel is about the cars, Matts channel is about Matt.
Great pod 🎉
Very interesting video, Dean's such a nice chap.
Where has the time gone. I found Saving Salvage channel at (I think) ep 3 of the RS3 build which only seems like a couple of years ago.
Dean always bangs out too comtent. Well done
Be great to see a few of the UA-camrs like Dean Chris Matt etc do a uk road trip . Be great viewing
Great UA-camr / human. Looks tired. Hope he is doing ok mentally 🙏

Had quite a few regular bmw
But the interiors are not anything special for the money
M2 comp is prob the only exception
As long as he doesn’t have car vertical written all over his channel I will always watch
Did you know you could check the history of any car in the UK or US, they might have been crashed or clocked so you could save the hassle.
If you read this far it's not car vertical that's the problem 😅
Great channel keep it up you’re doing a great job, now pick my fekin numbers on the next draw 😆
Deans got to point he doesn't ever finish any projects
When interview Jimmer?
100% RS3 BMW does nowt for me.
I prefer the MK3 over MK2 but latest MK4 not on it
I remember the first video's. They were awkward 😂
who is Dean.
Deans great but his channel is very VAG heavy and it does get repetitive.
Hurrican?💀
Love deans Channel, but the whole raffle thing taking over these kinds of channels ruins it for me, I'm aware they have to make a profit etc but I don't know why, but it takes something away from the whole journey for me..
Yay first view
So your click bate title wasn’t true then?
Mat is a better entertainer but its been a while that i feel that he lost that relatability with all those supercar rebuilds/content. Mat is all about pouring a ton of ridiculous amount of money on parts/cars/rebuilds

Great guest and channel. Dreadful interviewer.... Prefers to talk than listen particularly an issue when so dull
Never seen a channel where an interviewer is incessant on talking about themselves. I want to hear the guests life story not this guy
Turned it off far to much of the other guy wanted more of dean
For an interview, there was 80 of split of the ginger talking bollox and not letting the subject of the interview talk. It’s all stories about him and his inherited money
Deans a nice bloke but wish he wouldn't do the car gambling he offers. It's just getting nieve stupid people into gambling without them even realising. I think its immoral and greedy. He is a genuine honest and humble guy, but has not got one funny Bone in he’s body 🤣😂
You are not alone. I just dislike all BMWs until you get to the 7 series. They are overrated, uncomfortable, ugly and are generally driven by complete idiots
He's right about the bmw Interiors, the dials colour been horrible for years
Nope I hate M cars too. Boring and just sounds bad. Interior is boring also
