1x labeled "EWP" (eastern white pine), so technically it is SPF lumber - purchased at one of the big box stores. Honestly, it can be hit or miss finding a decent piece. Thank you! 👍✌
Well, your knife sure goes thru it really well. I found an old”Walcott” knife of my dad’s, thought about restoring it and use it for carving but the blade has some wobble in it.
Absolutely great!
Thank you! 👍✌
Very nice! Is that wood a pc. Of 2x2 spf construction grade lumber?

@@randyharmon6861 Walcott? - Are they knives used in the medical profession? That would be a very unique whittling knife! 👍✌
Danged predictive! I meant Walsco. I’m sorry. I’ve tried to look the brand up and can’t find much about it.
@@randyharmon6861 Ahhh yes, that make sense. A lot like the Stanley 199. I see some "vintage" ones for sale on-line. Very cool! Thanks. 👍✌
Thank you for the video. Do you sharpen your utility?
I sure do. It is a must with the Stanley (any knife really)! Thanks. 👍✌
Love it thanks
Thank you Tom!
