Timing your liver shots with your opponents breath is some seriously next level shit. Bas is the all time leader in MMA of ending fights due to liver shots. It's probably because of the open palm rules of pancrese, but Bas has eaten more livers than Hannibal Lecter.
He was the first online instructor, so to speak, I ever had... and he's not, again, the last. I learned so much and practiced so much I learned from him.... and for the exact reasons you listed.
As a boxing coach this is good stuff. Practice this stance and combos over and over keeping it fluid and always ready to switch up to keep your opponent off rhythm. Thanks for this content.
In my utmost humble opinion. “ Nothing more rewarding than getting ones thesis validated by those who exceeds oneself in excellence” And your words could not be more truthful Mr Rutten. “ Practice makes permanent, therefore assure perfect practice” An Honor to be able to observe and learn from such a fellow peer as yourself. Still use your "Bas Rutten's MMA workout", especially when travelling, had those mp3s on my phone for a 2 decades, probably saved my life (long story involving a coronary stent).
Bas it's amazing that you like a lot of these comments. Idk if it's actually you, or someone who manages your content, but it's touching to see it. Btw, your right arm is looking really strong. I know you had some problems with it before, I think nerve issue, but it's looking really good now.
I love the fact that after years of being on TV, being around TV people, having an interest in the art form itself - that Bas low key has some of the best production on UA-cam. The 02 plug at the beginning is legit network television quality
I saw Bas Rutten back in the late 90's at a DRAKA event at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles... I was buying some beer and he was standing right behind me... When I turned around and saw him he bowed.. I bowed back and I've been bowing as I shake people's hand ever since...
Absolutely fantastic tutorial Mr Bas Ruten, my brother you are the very epitome of a living legend, I've had to take time off training due to illness and I've came across your channel I'm honoured i want more I'm addicted, thank you Bas!!!!
The liver shot is one of my favorite punches. You do a great job explaining different scenarios and technique. Love watching your highlights, you're one of the GOATS.
Your technique has showed me how to throw punches in the correct way. It is an honour to watch your videos. Greetings from the UK and you are a LEGEND.
If Bas showed up and knocked on my door, he'd get invited in immediately. Class act. Was amazing meeting him and Randy Couture at Revgear University years ago.
Bas is such an amazing coach and a person for sharing this. Much love Bas! Was lucky enough to get to your gym when I was 19 and train from Australia. Never change legend.
It is so refreshing to see someone in youtube actually teaching stuff and knowing what he talks about. Bas, you are the man. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
I am so grateful to be able to witness Masters like Bas showing their tips and tricks for us to learn from. Thank you so much!🙏 Wishing you great health
I dont think Bas even realizes how respected & what a legend he already was in the early 90s & early 2000s and even now I still would love to see him and Rogan commentating all the msm mma events but i understand the bs politics and Bas wont sell out for money. Bas is a living legend!
Hello bas. I just wanted to say thank you that i have the pleasure to watch you since i was a kid. Im fighting right now and preparing for my next fight and youre fighting system helped me out alot throughout years. Baie danki lekker dag ek weens jou die beste

Thank you Bas. Me and my best friend used to spar and watch your videos. Sadly the disease of addiction took him too son. I love you Kyle Bodenstein. Thank you so much Bas for your wisdom and story. Much love from Vermont!
A good teacher is always hard to find. He explains the technique clearly and very well. Most people who are good at something, they just simply do this and do that just bc it works. Keep up the good work Bad.
I'm not really coming here to be able to throw this punch. I just like Bas explaining things as he does. Groeten Bas! Na al die jaren nog steeds een held
I still use the O2 trainer been using it for a little while now cant remember when i bought it, under a year and I can say my breath is definitely better. I get deeper breathes! I love it. Now lets talk about the liver shot!
Dear Bus, let me please humbly recommend to you to give your martial talks a brand name like “BusWisdom”. Also every single word in the title needs to start with a capital letter. The UA-cam algorithm likes that as it is aesthetically better. Thanks for all the knowledge you’re sharing with us
Bas, this is amazing. I hope more people see and appreciate the amount of experience and knowledge you are giving away. Keep up the great work and thank you!

Im disappointed on UA-cam… how the hell they didn’t suggest this to me earlier… this is pure gold! Thanks Bas!!
