That little cuddy cabin looks so cozy! I hope to do some more camping on my O'Day 22 next summer. Until then, I'll live vicariously off those of you living in warmer climates. Keep the videos coming! I'm off to sharpen my skis...
It's starting to get pretty cold here so she may be sitting in the driveway for the next few months. But this Spring it's on! We'll continue to work on her and post vids during the "off season" 😁⛵
I like the comping-like cruising. Maybe you should install a top of the mast anchor light in replacement of leaving the running light on. Keep posting.
Hey there. I do that camp thing on the water as well. Sailing a Precision 165 on Ray Roberts. If you are interested in a buddy boat campout or want to cruise on a different boat on Roberts, give me a shout. Lots of beam reach with the way the lake is laid out. Lots of nice camping spots as well.
Looks like you had the lake all to yourself. Does that lake have hydrilla. If it does that's where the bass will hang out. It not try humps, points, channel ledges, any kind of changes on bottom. I know it's hard to do it right from a sailboat. I've gotta have a trolling motor and electronics for any serious bass fishing. I like your cockpit lights..
just beautiful. In U-boats and modern navies, they run at night with red lights in the cabin and on the insturments. red light preserves your night vision.
I subbed, I've been thinking about getting a sailboat, I was going to jump in and start with a 30 foot but the more I see trailer sailors, I may just go with one of them.
My opinion, a trailer sailer is the way to go especially if you're new to sailing. It avoids having to pay $$$ to keep the boat in the water at a marina and they're easier to sale if you no longer want to keep it. Having the boat on wheels opens up so many more options and places to go. ⛵🤙
Absolutely Amazing.... The Waters , The Wind , The ⛵Sails , The Sun ☀ The Moon & ✨ Stars... What more can anyone ask for..? Beautiful Journey my friend...🙏
Love all the skateboard tape,I’m laying in bed with a broken leg from slipping while cleaning my venture 23 and as soon as I’m able I will be adding grip tape everywhere I think I might step on the boat.
Ohio, I bet you get some cold sailing up there! I use a cheap $10 battery powered touch light and I also have a bulb from an old lamp that plugs into a dc converter. 🤙⛵

My favorite part is the cockpit-toolbox sliding. Best part of small boat sailing. Thx for sharing!
Freaking rad that you did this! Man I've got to get down there and get on that boat with you!

Very cool! I always wondered why the low red was always used. 🤙⛵️
Interesting boat design. So smart.
Cool vid. Such a great looking craft. Sailing at night always gives me chills.

That made me want to buy a trailer sailor and start sailing again. I really miss it.
What’s up? Wildlife in the house!
I think the Texas 200 is in your future! You've got more than enough boat and experience to do it. It would make a GREAT video series!
I've got a few videos from prior texas 200's. 🤙⛵️
Absolutely Amazing....
The Waters , The Wind ,
The ⛵Sails , The Sun ☀
The Moon & ✨ Stars...
What more can anyone ask for..?

Just discover your channel, nice videos and i love that boat. Why do you anchor by stern?
Stern anchor just in that cove, wanted boat to point to the north. ⛵️🤙
sweet.... 1000 sub won't take long!
Jason sent me over to check you out. Subscribed. Your Arkansas fam, Etta.
Nice Mariner 19. I'm looking for one of these.
And I'm liking me some Sturgil Simpson, too.

It works great.
@@restrothunderroad would a venture 23 be a good fit for the Texas 200? I’m from the Tulsa area and have only sailed local lakes.
What’s the gps software on your phone?
Navionics
Here's another one for you
lucky man
Great video I guess you shot it on a GoPro and did you edit it on a laptop thanks for the information in advance
Thank you! yes and yes 🤙⛵
Ahh, the royalty free version of Take On Me
Nice tchotchkes. Please start using life jacket. What is make/model of your sailboat?
1964 Oday mariner
😊
I thought you would do some fishing catch and cook
I was planning to do fish for brunch if i could catch anything. 🤙⛵️
Is the trailing rope for in case you fall off the back?
@@SuperTgra it is. I've added some length to it so I'd have more time to grab it when she's haulin.
Great stuff, an interesting boat "***brilliant , 👍.
merci
Hi. I'm kiikii in Ohio - female solo sailor .... What type of lights are those lighting up your cockpit? Are they wired? Or do they have batteries?
Ohio, I bet you get some cold sailing up there! I use a cheap $10 battery powered touch light and I also have a bulb from an old lamp that plugs into a dc converter. 🤙⛵
You should spray some wd-40 on those zippers.
Hello.
Love the video and the boat.. keep it up
