A few years ago we went on a trip to Tennessee. We were out shopping in a nearly empty store and just happened upon some folks from our state and got to talking. Turns out they only lived a few streets over from us and just happened to be on a trip to Tennessee at the same time. It's weird, but neat.

Yeah, when I go travelling in a car, I always look for license plates of my state.
I saw someone from my state make a U turn at the lights and got stuck. Making a U turn at a junction without a "U turn permitted" sign is an infringement in the state we were visiting. I tried to tell her it was illegal when we were waiting for the lights but she couldn't hear me because her music was so fucking loud, and she never thought of turning it down. She's so thick I hope she does it in front of a cop and get fined

Don’t know why but it’s also cool when you’re driving for a vacation/trip in a different state (let’s say for example, Louisiana) and you see all of other cars with the Louisiana license plate. It feels neat for some reason. They don’t have unique license plates and the plates aren’t from someplace cool, it just makes you feel like you’re in a whole new world.
When you're a Mainer like me and you see a Massachusetts license plate, you always think "Alright, i'm mentally prepared for a car crash."
