The last part with Arven clearly relating to Ohara just makes me sad especially what he is dealing with.

I loved the mature tone of these mini series.
Also, I think Aloqius has a small self-confidence issue with how he says "I always do my best" in regards to his battle against Nemona. She probably beats him all the time and he might be especially insecure this time cuz his brother's coming to watch

Perhaps his cocky demeanor is a facade for his insecurity.

Paldean Winds is just beautiful and I love all the new characters but ofcourse my guy Arven takes the cake, I totally relate to his depressed state… 😢🥹
Also last nights Horizons episode was very wild😮 man …Galarian Moltres is extremely savage 😅 from destroying Cap, to cornering Liko & Roy + their Pokémon, to making Hatenna cry 😭 & ofcourse trapping Friede & Amethio + their Pokémon inside the Galar mine… 💀

I really love mini series like Paldean Winds, too. They just add so much to the universe. I'm looking forward to talking about the HZ episode - if I don't have time to get to making a video this weekend I may roll it into a bigger discussion next week.

Just a small correction. Arven's parental issue depends on the version and in the Paldean wind episode, he was wearing the uniform for Scarlet.
Therefore he was having mommy issues. Not daddy issues. But I guess the issue is still similar.
This is a good catch, though my line of thought was that he had both mommy & daddy issues in both versions since the other parent deserted the family.

Looking waaaaay to deep into this... She's a kid stressed by a project, a deadline and expectation from a parent. She tried to run away and quit. I don't think she has "a better grasp on her mental well being" lol
In the end this will be insignificant like the rest, cool characters we'll never see again. What is the point ? Do a cool show and a cool movie every 2 or 3 years

Great video as always, though I kinda disagree with Paldean snow being the most visually grand of the extra pokémon content. I personally feel that twilight wings and Evolutions were a lot more ambitious in their animation/visuals, while this one, despite looking fantastic, is a bit more "vanilla" in comparison. But that's just my opinion
I didn't know Jaden from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX had a daughter.

yes! this is the type of Pokemon anime I always wanted Pokemon always had the golden potential to be something greater but they've been holding it back with cartooney and kid zone style animation for years but generations, evolutions, and now Winds, is the best of both worlds 💯🏆 they never understood until now finally learning
The mini series have a been a lot of fun. I'd love to see them do this on a larger scale i.e. a 12~25 episode series of 20 minute episodes.
Haven't played the DLC yet, but I am loving the Ashless animé (the one with Liko & Roy). Though where can I watch that other series you were talking about this entire video?

The only thing that would have made me buy the DLC is any kind of performance improvement.

not every game needs voice acting and if a game wants to do voice acting it should be the developer’s choice the games not having voice acting actually makes them stand out and be unique
We shouldn’t force them to do something they don’t feel comfortable doing yet

The graphics and world are good enough
Their research and lore that goes into the franchise is actually high quality and very well thought out lore is more important to than graphics and performance they know where their priorities are and that’s smart so it’s not that they need to change it’s that you just don’t understand what they’re going for and who they’re appealing too and what makes the franchise special to begin with
Lore is their priority
I know that the game isn’t perfect and that there’s issues
Pokémon is a franchise where the theme is friendship is magic and meeting cute and cool unique monsters
What the hell does graphics and performance have to do with those things?
Nothing if you wanna criticize a franchise criticize it on whether or not it delivered on the messages and themes it promised

That’s what it is about and that’s what it will always be about and if that’s what it continues to be about until the end

Not sure what graphics and animation and performance has to do with that
Performance graphics those things never Mattered
You have to remember pokemon games have only been 3D since 2013 that’s pretty recent compared to other games like Zelda that have been 3D since the 90s and early 2000s so obviously they’re gonna be behind Mixed with the fact that They can’t delay the game because main console for only 5 years compared to Zelda since n64
The franchise was designed so that every aspect of it has a symbiotic relationship
The games can’t release without the anime the merch and the manga and the manga the merch and the anime can’t release without the games
And it’s about time you all understand that by now
They are doing their best trying to balance the games with the tcg and the anime
The Pokémon franchise is like a game of jenga
If you move one thing it all falls apart
They are doing the best they can sorry I’m the only one who appreciates that
Unless you want them to hypothetically release the Gen 10 anime and then wait till the anime gets to Gen 15 to release the Gen 10 games
they are still learning as they go so y’all gotta be patient and give them time to catch up
Their partnership with take two they’ll apply what they learn back into Pokémon so that’s good
You have to remember gamefreak are inexperienced with developing open world games so of course there will be some trial and error the more they work on and improve the game and do future games the better at it they’ll get

I'm sorry, none of these pokemon shows are really doing it for me, and pokemon Horizon is starting to run on borrow time. They just haven't really grabbed me. It all just seems like pokemon busy work with no real drive and direction.
Fair enough - maybe you’d enjoy the Pokémon Adventures manga if you’re looking for something more focused!
I paid for a DLC the same amount I would have paid for pokemon crystal back in the day, then again, its half I paid for the game, so I guess that is inflation for you lol.
It's terrifying haha. I don't want to think how much money I spent on the "third" version of each generation's games back in the day - though to be fair, Pokemon Crystal made some great additions!

POKEMON ANIME IS NOTHING WITHOUT ASH
Ash is great, but the anime is doing just fine. :)
I don't agree to you on the animation better than the movies . If you look at movies like lucario and mystery of mew , rise of darkrai , they were soo good in animation and art style, detailing and everything. I am not saying this was bad , this was phenomenal but still can't beat the older art style and animation
Scarlet and Violet was about the open world map, not the school being harry potter like so there was no disappointment there.
The shell towns and underwhelming use of the academy setting left something to be desired, but the open world was certainly fun.
Legends is one time game , please stop bringing that up all the time. Its most likely a remake next year
Legends was cool! Hope to see more original projects like that (rather than just rehashes of the old catalogue).
