I wish that I had watched this before ordering it :-/ is there some way to power is fro. A battery bank? I mounted mine to a tripod, figuring that I would only use it when doing cinematic stuff, and hypermapsed sunrise/sunset. But 1 Mavic battery does a 30 second hyperlapse, and a sunset is typically 2 to 3 batteries.
You seem to have an addition mount piece. Is that a quick release shoe adapter??? I was expecting mine to come with that so I could use it on my dslr also 😢

Maybe a right angle HDMI cable would help

Yes! Great idea and that's exactly what I did. However, finding an HDMI mini to HDMI right angle that bended in the correct direction proved impossible for me. I found one, and purchased it, but it bent in the wrong direction. So I ended up using an adapter. So physically, that completely solved the problem of the cable hitting the button. However, I would get intermittent HDMI dropouts in the monitor. And then, after repairing the audio out jack once, it failed again. It just became too cumbersome and not perfect for my use so I ended up returning it.

Have this setup, For me it's not stable at all, the monitor loses connection too often. Can't figure out if it's the Feel World monitor or the RC 2 as being the issue.
As far as the cabling issues in this video, it is easily solvable with the right 90 degree USB C to to 90 degree HDMI, a few solutions are on the market

Why do you need volume for a drone?

Mostly for alerts and warnings: Home point set, airsense, low battery, etc.
But for me, mostly hearing the shutter sound when taking photos is reassuring knowing the photo actually fired.
LIkewise, I do a lot of mapping jobs when I am not paying too much attention to the display and like hearing the shutter sounds to know mission is executing as expected

Using a non enterprise mavic for mapping? Could you guide me to some resources on that? I'd like to learn.

Nice video ... What mount are you using with this to attach to the RC Pro?

Fwiw, I no longer recommend this monitor. I just don't think it's great for drone use. But the amount I got was purchased from Thor's Drone World. I purchased a handful of Mount from them, and they've all been impeccably made and extremely sturdy.

@@ParkerHarrington Yeah after looking some more I found the 7" that I think would be better for this. Want to mount to my RC Pro I just got. Will miss my Tripltek 8 pro.

@@gtpjon yeah, it's a great combo: RC Pro, Thor's Drone World mount and the 7" Feelworld. I could literally never fly from just my mobile phone. Just couldn't happen. I had to send my RC Pro in for service a couple months ago, the HDMI ports failed. I literally couldn't wait for it arrive back. It's such a different flying experience
