Great video, Steve! I admire a man who is both transparent AND accountable.
    Congrats on Michigan win.
One favor to ask….Every day for the rest of your life on Earth, you are required to THANK YOUR SON for having the testicular fortitude to tell his Mom and long-suffering Dad, “NO WAY, Man, you’re staying here in these Rose Bowl seats TO THE END.”
    I LOVE that kid!!
He helped his Dad avoid the GREATEST MISTAKE as a Wolverine fan--walking away too early because avoiding witnessing the potential pain of defeat was more tolerable than enjoying the thrill of a “less-likely” victory.
EVERY DAY, STEVE!! Love that boy of yours for pure guts!

Do you think the staff is going to want to stick around and endure NCAA violations? Mintor and Jay Harbaugh definitely go. The other coaches well at least half a brain will leave too to take better jobs and not get punished for cheating. Plan for Michigan to go back into irrelevancy and enjoy the ashes that Harbaugh is going to leave behind.

I guess the question really is... Was it worth it? Was the national championship worth all that's coming in the near future for Michigan. Losing players, recruits, coaches and even possibly the natty (on paper) worth having it all in 2023. Idk the answer to that. Michigan has a very tough schedule next year and I think they will have a very hard time to bring in the talent. If they fall off and lose 3-4 games this year could they revert back to a mediocrity?? All good things to ask yourselves..

Don't agree, this current AD is 1.0K, which is absolutely to blame! Warde Manuel could have simply met the coaches' expectations of C-Harbaugh, which he very much developed, but this present AD didn't. He does'nt feel NIL & C-Harbaugh does. The minute that C-Harbaugh 'JohnHancock" isn't even dry, whether it is Chargers or whoever NFL-team Pres. Santa Ono should #FIREWARDE ASAP! And for the christ's-sake hire a proper AD., which is the best in college athletics, 'OU Joe Castiglione." Now that the NIL entered the college sports panorama, Warde Manuel has been a day late & penny short; that is, he doesn't believe in it. That is why the newly appointed school president, a sports fan, must do this. Before this AD. sets up Michigan, the brand iconic 'M" falls out of the college sports face of the map and into the abyss! Happy New Year to you sir & always, GOBLUE-NATTYUP🏆!

Does Jadyn Davis even stay here when JH leaves considering we're too incompetent to figure out an intelligent way to pay our players and a lot of guys are going to be jetting the moment their 30 day portal begins? It's not like he has a whole lot of talent to work with at WR when he becomes the starter.
I think the silver lining is that all the Ls we're gonna take next year might finally force the worst administration in the country to care about football. But I doubt it. Recruiting might actually improve but I doubt that also considering we are allergic to getting commitments from top players. Say what you want about Ohio but at least those people care about being the best. It was nice while it lasted. At least I got to see one championship in my lifetime.

Jim Harbaugh bleeds maize and blue more than anything else. Jim will do his very best to not leave Michigan in a lurch. I believe that his staying or going is related to what happens to the elite staff of assistant coaches he has assembled. This can be pretty messy. But if Michigan would hire in-house and the assistants would agree to stay on...then JH would be free to pursue a Super Bowl win. However, if the staff will not stay together if he leaves then I think he will stay at Michigan.

You should think about that statement a bit before you throw it out there. How much NIL money did UM pony up last year to keep an entire team, you know, before you go "all in" on OSU for doing the same? UM has 5 returners next year and 3 of those were part-timers.

    • @rootedrotor525
      @rootedrotor525 5 місяців тому

@@chethammer You should really think about your statement before you throw it out there. Michigan kept a lot of seniors and guys that have been with the program a long time via NIL. No doubt. Legal. You better be sure Ohio isn’t making direct payments to these guys from other programs in order to come three. Ya know - cuz that’s cheating which you guys despise. Even other coaches are raising a stink about it. Been paying off recruits for years. $10k just for a recruit to visit? Verified and illegal. Michigan should probably cry to the commissioner and get the rest of the AD’s to bytch about it too and get Day suspended. But we don’t want that - he’s fine right where he is - stuck on 3rd base. Curious - what will his excuse be next year?

Harbaugh is GONE ! --- No way he stays and faces the music from the NCAA ! --- By rule - he is "responsible" (for Stallions tenure) and they will fry his ass - 'if' - he remains ?!? --- So - the UM will be left taking the hit - like USC did - when Pete Carroll left. --- Jimmy's legacy will keep on giving - long after he's gone - 'again' - much like Pete left USC. --?-- Harbaugh truly has - 'redefined' - what it means to be a 'M - Man' !!! 🤣

I wish he would just leave at this point. I feel like he is hurting us now more than helping. This can't be good for recruiting, and he seems too busy entertaining the NFL to be productive. I am happy for what he has helped build but I think it's time to move forward.

Not gonna praise him. Thankful for the success but these antics are ridiculous hes pulled. After telling Warde he wouldn't do it anymore and it wouldn't be an annual thing and it was. He lied and his ego got in the way of sticking to his word. Pretty shameful. He gets a free pass and he knows it. A michigan man wouldn't do this kind of stuff. He should have announced at the beginning of the season hes leaving or just left. This game of limbo the last few years has hurt recruiting. No other p5 coach in the country would be able to do this to their university and get away with it. Harbaugh knows that and exploited it which is wrong.

NO, what we have is a narcissist coach, who expects everyone to cater to his narcissism. Most families have at least one of these. Our society is made up of them, it is so common it seems normal, but it's actually a real defect. It seems Jim puts trophies above everything, in my faith we call that idolatry. He is willing to abandon his team, the university, move his family, everything in pursuit of another idol. His pride and ego are getting the best of him.
He needs a very long session in church reviewing scripture and meditation.

The greatest 3 year stretch in UM history was 1901,02,03...or 1902,03,04. All National Championships and league Titles. Yost's 56 game unbeaten streak.
    1946,1947,1948 = 2 NCs
Kipke had 3 year stretch with only 1 loss and 2 NCs.
Harbaugh is not even close to equaling those 3 spans.
    Read. Google is thy friend.

UM came off looking pretty pathetic in this whole endeavor. Jim strings along the school as he shops for other jobs and the school offers him a *"You can do no wrong"* immunity clause in a new contract. Apparently they are all-in with supporting his repeated violations of NCAA rules. UM fans need to climb down off of that pedestal and recognize the complete lack of integrity displayed by the coach and the institution.

I’m tired of us Michigan fans as a whole complaining about Jim wanting to go to the NFL. He has done exactly what we asked him to do, and there’s nothing else for him to accomplish at Michigan. Not only that, we’re bitching that he doesn’t want to stay when the majority of us, myself included, wanted him gone after the 2020 season. You guys can’t have your cake and eat it too. He’s done what we asked, so get over it. If he wants to go to the NFL, let him
