Huge! I remember this too shall pass vid when it dropped. Big influence on my decision to buy. I bought 2. I just thought if this camera can pull off these shots with all the goodies… I’m in big time. Thanks guys! Great work!
So, great vid. Audio on the 2 guys though....not good. One you can hear clearly (prob. closer to the boom mic), the other, horrible. Sounds like he's mumbling. Thanks
Amazing insights, I'm saving to get this camera and it will be my very first cinema camera, coming from EOS 80D and EOS 7D Mark II, and I'm doing almost everything from events, docu, commercials, etc
Hey guys! I was wondering if you could let me know what HDMI extender/adapter you are running on your c70? I have one I am using but its not quite as secure as id like it to be, that one you have looks much more secure, and I'd be interested in taking a look at it!
What level of experience or understanding would you say one needs to be able to jump onto a cine camera like the c70 ? Coming from dslr and an APSC mirrorless
As someone without a bunch of experience shooting with cine cameras (I started with a 5D MKII) I've found the C70 to be a very user friendly cine camera. Built in NDs are amazing, menus are pretty easy to learn and navigate, etc. We shoot all our videos with the C70, its killer!
Cinema lenses are a build difference not a quality difference. Cinema lenses are geared for AC's and potentially corrected for breathing, the glass itself isn't especially different from a photo lens.
Nice insight, but AF in slowmo? I can configure it up to 60 but higher frame rates like 120? Am I missing something :) Overall I really like this camera, had it nearly a year but not often enough out in the field yet.

its a great camera for all of those!
awesome, about time some folks that promote the camera.
My ask would be for a SDI port. Otherwise a fine (price point) documentary camera.
Agreed, SDI would be great
Hi ! Amazing visuals, thank you for this video, could you let us know the lens you used please ? Thanks !

Same question! HDMI port position is quite a weak point on this camera
How are you powering the SmallHD? I don’t even see mounting options for batteries! What kind of sorcery is this!!?! 😃
If money is no question, which one would you get canon c70 or sony fw6 ?
depends on your workflow i would say, some people prefer the sony look over canon. some like the menus and available IOs of one over the other.
Yo can we get links to the side mount?
Great rave, thanks.
Wait a second? the c70 has timelapse :) ? it came along side the update with RAW internal. ??
hi guys! would love to know your set up rig
Thanks :)

Wonderful work! Amazingly talented people. BUT. They wanted to go for cinema look and not the DSLR look, yet they did not go with Cine Lenses! Why?

By the way, This Too Shall Pass is amazing!
You need to use LongGOP to go above 60.
