+1 on the SmallRig base plate and 15mm Arri Rosette adapter. I hadn’t thought of mounting a NATO rail on the handle - that really makes the SmallRig EVF arm solid and usable. Great tip. Great video. Liked and sub’d.
Thanks man! The only issue with mounting to the handle is that it can limit your grip. I plan to get a handle extension so I can push the nato rail up slightly so it doesn't limit the grip
Very clean rig. I really like the monitor holder, but I highly suggest switching to SMALLHD. I got one off eBay for almost half the cost. Indie 7 with the new OS5 is amazing, especially the addition of EL Zone System. I like it more than false color.
That the battery comes out is not a problem of the V-Mount, it is a problem of the brand, you would not have the same problem with recognized brands such as Bebob or Anton Bauer. Good job with the Rig and excellent camera. 🎥
Thanks for the vid, that's really interesting to see. Love the look of the monitor swivel arm but confused about the placement of the monitor. If the camera's on your shoulder, if there a way to position the monitor directly in front of your face or is it stuck on top of the camera body where you have to crane your neck?
I've had conversations with other C70 users that fried their HDMI port cause they connected all the accessories to a v mount. So I'm avoiding it. I still prefer working on in camera batteries cause I can the timing of long I have left
No hate, honestly this is one of the worst build I have seen… First “you don’t put a cage because you want it light”, and then you put 7 baseplates and 15 batteries… A handle there in the front makes no sense at all! The monitor on top of the lens… A top handle with no real function, just in the middle of the way. This is exactly the way to not build a rig lol
It is very expensive and difficult. It is enough to install the original battery in the monitor. Kenon consumes very little energy and one internal battery is enough. One large battery is definitely unnecessary. I have this camera and I know what I'm writing about. It is better to install the handle on the left side. The right hand should hold the camera and have convenient and quick access to settings. These crutches are not entirely practical
New C70 owner here, and this was EXACTLY the video I was looking for!! Thanks!! Subscribed!!!
We wish you enjoy the rig! Happy New Year!
Fantastic step by step explanation thanks so much 💚
GREAT RIG! Just got this camera.
What a nice rig!

Great tips! What case or bag do you use to carrry your gear?
how much is this setup
im looking for something like this
Pls make more C70 Videos bro
what is the actual weight of setup, including camera and lens?
Great video! When you use a shoulder rig, what length of rods do you use? Thanks
Intriguing monitor! Great rig and explanation 🙏
why don't you power your C70 with the v-lok battery, you just need a power plate and a d-tap to Dc cable.

you need an easyrig

Putting all that weight on just the one mounting point on top of the camera freaks me out. You need a proper cage.
I hate this build. It would take forever to take everything off
