Really love the way you redo items. I would love to fill my house with antiques, but I cannot afford that. The way you do things, you get the look without the huge price tag of antiques.
I slways love everything you do but oh my, I'm nutty about both of the greens you used today. I always love your little cabinets. I don't find them around here very often. Thanks!
Years ago i was a Home Interiors Rep. Then i went to Priscilla peddlers. We actually had furniture from Lancaster county Pennsylvania. And it was all pretty much primitives. That was many years ago.😊 The make overs you do reminds me of the pieces we had. Primitive forever
I agree, so overlooked. I enjoy an eclectic mix of styles. Probably because of the way my parents decorated. It was a mix of Danish modern furniture and decor was primitives and pieces found from my father’s travel through South America.
I picked up an old Home Interior Mirrow Window with shutters in Sage Green from a Good Will. I paid 9 bucks for it! Surprised to find them reselling for 100+ as-is. I am keeping mine! ❤
I love watching you makeover cubbies and smalls. You share every step and it helps me to feel like I can do this. Not a seller just for me. Thank you for sharing 😊
OH how to pick and choose? I like them all. It's so crazy anymore with all the different paints and waxes and stains. Just rub something on your paint and it changes it to a different color only better. It's really neat to me. A good show Chick! Next time I have to remember the Popcorn. God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
I loved the little green cabinet. Though not a big fan of too much crackle this was just enough. I buy these types of wood items often and have learned how to make them better. I personally would have added a transfer or a decorative decopauge print. That shade of green is my favorite.
Fan brushes are a life saver. Consider using with ModPodge as you can slide them under edges so easily and under what you are applying as you roll it along.
For cryin out loud, you are so darn talented! Those 3 small boxes you transformed with the sheep transfers is gorgeous! Where did you learn the typing paper trick? My brother was a commercial artist and he did the burnt end trick a lot. Everything you did was just wonderful! One idea: do you think the last project could have used transfers on the doors? I thought it would really add to the piece. My personal favorite piece was the 1960’s piece that grandpa built. I just love how you transformed it. I don’t know how much Rustoleum spray you use but my neighbor girl doe pallet transformations. That is a new color she is using, it is gorgeous! It is paint and primer in one. Best to you!
Oh that sage truly transformed those boxes! Love the decoupage! Those jars have my heart for sure! That “suitcase” paint is beautiful! And, I love those sheep. But the crackles!❤ The clock is gorgeous! That cubby is so sweet in that color! You’re so right…that wax makes everything pop! Flour sack!🤩 Pantry door!🎉 Love that crackle!! I am amazed at the plethora of ideas you share!❤
I’m a newbie ..I love what you have done ..I try to use my items or Refab. I was at a garage sale yesterday and I found a Lotta good stuff…I will be watching you .. Let me tell you I bought a Lazy Susan at the thrift store and I use it to paint things and I just turn the Lazy Susan and paint the other side .. 👍
My mother bought me the Candleabra by Home Interiors years ago for a Xmas gift and I still have it to this day. She was ashamed to tell me it was used and purchased from a gal but I loved it so much, it didn't matter to me. Loved all your projects - got me looking around now to see what needs some Love.❤
I agree I love that Carriage house Fusion paint color. I’m refinishing a dining room table, and I’m wondering if that would work for the base of the table with a blond wood top, I’d love to send you a pic of the table
Love all the items. I think my favorite is the candelabra! You took a nice piece that is outdated and just brought it to new life. I don’t know why I would never have thought to paint one ! Also loving the green paints with black wax. The black wax just adds so much.
Black mate is my NÉW favorite color ..lol we recently cleaned out our attic for insulation install and I found an old little mini I don’t know bench or something it’s like a riser and it was needed some work so my husband me put it back together and then I painted it black matte, and I use it as a riser for my decor
You are so creative. Amazing transformations! Love the candelabra! Did you learn all this by yourself trial and error? Did you have instruction? That paint color in the small cabinet is gorgeous! Love it.
You really know how to transform a piece! I enjoy watching you do this. They all turned out beautifully. That last cabinet with all that crackle and the green I love.❤
Yvonne, those green boxes are divine!! Love what that black wax does! Love the brown boxes and how you do the burning around the edges. Love that technique! Every piece turned out fabulous! Awesome vid!
So we just painted our dining room, white and black trim but my accent color is that green So I have touches of that green all throughout the room not too much just …enough
Girl, your always inspiring me. The other day you used a new Fusion paint color cast iron. Fell in love with n received it today in the mail. I just can’t wait to use it. ( I work a lot in my carport n with the tropical storm coming through. I have to wait awhile) All your sweet items turned out so well that hard to pick a favorite as I love everything that you remake. But I did think that MBF board cabinet turned nice looking. Really liked that color green but when you add your tricks to it it was so sweet looking. Well here comes the wind n rain again so better get my hiney in the house. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟 God Bless you n Chris
I always enjoy these flips. I have a question about your labels. Have you ever used the water slip paper? I wondered if it would last and if you had any experience with it. Thanks, Yvonne!
I have to paint this big cabinet that my brother made me 20 years ago and I’m gonna paint it that green as a stand out pop in the room
Really love the way you redo items. I would love to fill my house with antiques, but I cannot afford that. The way you do things, you get the look without the huge price tag of antiques.
Love the boxes... I adore boxes. And thing with small drawers.

Love that. Primitive Forever❤️
I agree, so overlooked. I enjoy an eclectic mix of styles. Probably because of the way my parents decorated. It was a mix of Danish modern furniture and decor was primitives and pieces found from my father’s travel through South America.
Once again you've done a fabulous job. Love primitive style. I'm definitely going to try the milk paint with the wax!
I picked up an old Home Interior Mirrow Window with shutters in Sage Green from a Good Will. I paid 9 bucks for it! Surprised to find them reselling for 100+ as-is. I am keeping mine! ❤
Your aging techniques are fabulous! Always looks so great.

Love the primitive look! ❤
A good old-fashioned Ginger Chick makeover vid!! I love the leatherish grain you achieved on that trio of round boxes.
Oh thank you!
When cutting curves on paper try the curved fiskar scissor or cuticle scissors you will find it a lot easier.
I loved the little green cabinet. Though not a big fan of too much crackle this was just enough. I buy these types of wood items often and have learned how to make them better. I personally would have added a transfer or a decorative decopauge print. That shade of green is my favorite.
Great job

Beautiful as usual...i adore the middle bunny box ❤ tfs☮️
We don't get beautiful candelabras here in So. Calif. I really would like to have one to decorate my home with. So lovely!
That's what you should put over that paper but a flat marine one, which makes it waterproof
So we just painted our dining room, white and black trim but my accent color is that green
So I have touches of that green all throughout the room not too much just …enough
The holes on the cabinet. I wonder if putting some wood glue in there 1st and then paddy?
I would of put flour, sugar and tea because I drink instant coffee for years just as good last longer and quicker
LOVED THE WHOLE VIDEO AS USUAL..
U got it goin on with every piece today❤️👍❤️ My fav was the Green Crackle Box at the end🩵
Girl, your always inspiring me. The other day you used a new Fusion paint color cast iron. Fell in love with n received it today in the mail. I just can’t wait to use it. ( I work a lot in my carport n with the tropical storm coming through. I have to wait awhile)
