I keep getting distracted by your GORGEOUS hair! Now i am wondering how often you get paint in it, lol. I love your work-thank you for sharing your techniques.
Loving all 3 makeovers but the Sunflower stole my heart. Your great idea of using the IOD ink is perfect. Hoping everyday you’re getting stronger n feeling more like yourself. Sending lots of hugs n Gods blessings. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
All three pieces turned out so well. The green terrarium is sweet. I love the sunflower crock. The way you painted the sunflower made it look real. The candelabra in the curry was so pretty. I bought my first milk paint and I choose the Curry since I've seen how nice it is because of your videos .
I have to say that I believe you are the one that I first saw use an IOD product and it was the sunflower stamp on a tray with a grain stripe behind it among other great stuff on that video and I had to buy it...3-4yrs later and I own most of the IOD stuff! Here we are back at the sunflower in the mould form and I'm still in love with all you can do with their products!! Thanks for another great inspiration! ❤🎉
Just a quick note about resin-learning from Brushed by Brandi-can take out of mould while warm but white, place on rounded surface & glue with tight bond. Love watching your channel with hers!!!!❤❤❤
I have to go with the crock with the sunflower! ❤️ it’s absolutely beautiful. Resin is something I have but haven’t worked up the nerve to use. So glad you are doing better and praying you get more strength back each day. Gentle hugs for you both because I know he’s taking good care of you. 😊❤
So happy to see you feeling well enough to be back to utilizing your talents again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Suggestion for your next "shiny" or "slick" surface piece. Dixie Belle has a product called Slick Stick specifically designed for projects just like your sunflower crock! Only two coats! First coat, wait two hours. Second coat, wait overnight and it's good to go!!! ❤
Glad to see you feeling better! Of course my favorite has to be the sunflower. Yvonne, did you know that each mould has the measurement on it for how much resin you'll need to fill it? When I bought my Amazing Resin on Amazon I also bought a silicone measuring cup so I can pour the exact amount into the mould. And when it dries, you can just peel it out of the cup! ❤
This is what I’m on the hunt for now. Vintage crock pots and butter churning pots. They’re so expensive and or far away. In the meantime, I’m going to paint a regular flower pot, to get a similar look. I’m going to buy some terra cotta pots and make some as well!!I love your work! 😊
What the difference with your work is that you do not take shortcuts Yvonne. Your motto is if it's worth doing, it's worth doing it RIGHT! It makes such a difference. Your techniques every video deliver. What I learn from you is... take your time. Love watching you. Learn so much. 💕 Stay well girl.
First, I'm so glad you are doing better! Prayers work. All the goodies are beautiful and it's hard to choose a favorite but, I'm going with the sunflower crock!
Yvonne, I really like that curry colored milk paint. And the aging wax just adds a nice perfect touch. I also liked the technique you used on the sunflower. And your idea to use Bondo with resin molds is a very good one. Thanks for sharing this.
I LOVE how you inked that sunflower mold. I didn't buy that one because the sunflower was sooooo big! LOL! I'm so impressed how you used it, and it was so simple!
I’m so enjoying this video Yvonne!!❤ I’m Loving that you are trying new products (Bondo & resin)!! Also new colors (all your greens for sure, some blues, reds, yellows, etc)!! With Pickens milk paint❤❤❤ love those kinda primitive colors especially when you do the black wax (I prefer the brown wax) but love that affect with the clear wax that you do!! Love your barns!!❤ especially!!
Good to see you feeling better!❤ Oh my! What a surprise with the terrarium! Your makeover is fabulous 🎉 Holy Moly! That sunflower crock is awesome!😎 Love that curry color! 😊 You’ve still got it!❤
Hello Yvonne! You look gorgeous. I have been praying every day for you and Chris. I just love watching you redo items. I think all 3 projects are prize-worthy, but the sunflower crock has my heart. That resin is amazing. You painted it perfectly. I hope you are taking it slowly and healing. Sending hugs.
More beauteous makeovers from you, Yvonne, and I love them all. The sunflower crock is my favorite. As you started the candelabra I thought I wouldn't particularly like it -- but not so -- I actually really like it!! How do you do it? You have such an artistic eye, and you always know what's going to look good. Thanks for another inspiring video.
They are all great but, It's a tie between the sunflower and terrarium, then the candle holder. You just can't keep a good woman down:). I'm so happy your getting stronger every day. You have a great hubby, you can see how much he adores you. Please keep on what your doing, God Bless, Hugs, Rebekah
Absolutely beautiful! Not gonna lie, I was waiting for the rust patina on that home interiors candle holder! It came out amazing! Good tip (and I know you have told us this before) on turning these projects upside down to paint the hard parts first. Saves so much time! Hard to pick a favorite because I absolutely love them all!!! ❤
Good morning Yvonne!! Warms my heart and placed a huge smile on my face to see you back to doing your re- creations! That sunflower 🌻 crock is no less than gorgeous! The aging on the candelabra looks like it's been around just like that for decades...Eagerly awaiting your next video! Have a Blessed Sunday..continued prayers for your full recovery.❤❤❤❤
So very glad you are feeling better. Just recently found your channel, but love to watch you create. I binge watch all your past videos when my insomnia kicks in lol. I have a space in a shop and have been inspired to try new techniques thanks to you. I have also had spontaneous blood clots in my legs and lungs in the past. There was never a definitive reason found in my case. I know how scary that situation can be. I hope they are able to find answers and that you continue to heal and regain strength. Thank you for sharing your talent and journey!
If you used mica powder, you could dust the sunflower mold, then pour the resin. After it's cured, it will not come off it's incorporated into the resin. You could still put it on crock in the same way, especially if you catch it before its quite dry. Just a thought. Love these projects!!
Love them all but green always wins with me!
Loved, loved the sunflower crock!
Gorgeous sunflower. You are the queen of up cycles.
I love the crock with the sunflower.
I keep getting distracted by your GORGEOUS hair! Now i am wondering how often you get paint in it, lol. I love your work-thank you for sharing your techniques.
That sunflower looks beautiful! Resin can quickly become an addiction so I try to use ADC for less detailed molds.
Love seeing you pop up in my feed again ❤ But I hope you’re not over-doing. Take care of yourself 🥰
Love the sunflower
Love that Curry color!💗🌸
Love everything but the Sunflower pot is my favorite...❤
