I felt that way too, until i just forced myself to get up. i felt like i was physically unable to get up or like I'm stuck to the bed, as if my body was disconnected to me. but i just pushed myself to do it, and when i tell u it made me feel really motivated i mean it. once u get up from bed, brush ur teeth and do ur bed, u'll feel like it's an accomplishment. and u should celebrate it!! ur accomplishments matter, even if they're the smallest things. just the fact that ur still alive and didn't give up is an accomplishment. im proud of u, u can do this!!
You can start small by keeping a bottle of water by your bed and if ever you get a chance to stand up, you can stretch and that's already considered as exercising! And once you're up and moving, you can shower. Try showeringg even just once or twice a week, and its totally okay if you're just gonna do this. It's okay to start small ❤

I heard in a podcast that said, “it’s important to live life by design rather than emotion. Basically, sticking to a routine is what allows us to be the healthiest version of ourselves (especially when you're fighting these demons ex. OCD for me). I’ve had to overhaul how I approach taking care of my brain (exercise, journaling, studying etc) by practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 40-60% effort into my journaling habit - to make sure I do it I began recording it and posting it on my yt channel. After a really bad depression phase I started to believe I couldn’t change and I’d feel that horrible forever. Historically I have a habit of going too hard, not being able to sustain the Herculean effort, giving up and hating myself. So now I’m trying to give a small, consistent mediocre effort everyday. And its crazy how it adds up. I’m still figuring out how to be a person again, reintegrate into society but right now I have a solid foundation that I’ve never had before.
God loves you and nothing in all creation can separate you from that. Romans 8:38-39. You can cast all your anxiety onto God because He cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7. theres a tip: i never recommend washing your hair from hot water. hot water takes all you moisture from your hair which leads to dry scalpe and then dandruff. wash your hair from normal water. (this tip is not mine, a hair specialist named Jawed Habib told this thing when i had dandruff. this helped me a lot and can help you too.
I think one of the best parts about your videos is that you never sound condescending or like you’re bragging about how productive you are and how “easy” it is to get out of a slump

This just popped up on recommended for me again. I watched this about a year ago when I was in a really rough point in life (was healing from a concussion that necessitated me withdrawing from school, family illness, mental health etc.) and quite honestly this video helped inspire me to change my life and take a more proactive approach to healing. If you’re wanting some cat friendly plants, i would definitely recommend both spider plants and prayer plants. They‘re both gorgeous but spider plants are much easier to care for as prayer plants require a more humid environment. I keep my prayer plant in my bathroom and it seems to be perfectly happy in there.
when you said the thing about social media I felt extremely relatable ,my phone broke about 4 months ago. I overslept because of it & my addition to it made me focus less in school. If you’re wanting some cat friendly plants, i would definitely recommend both spider plants and prayer plants. They‘re both gorgeous but spider plants are much easier to care for as prayer plants require a more humid environment. I keep my prayer plant in my bathroom and it seems to be perfectly happy in there.
