Testing my new recording and rendering settings on the new PC, let me know what you think! Audio settings (left ear) have been amended and levels will be balanced.
Thanks for pointing that out, there's a couple of things I can tweak to help with that. Unfortunately I don't have any head tracking device so I control the view using a hat switch on the joystick, not ideal.
Very nice set up! I just checked out DCS and picked up the FA 18. Looks a sale going on!!! Looking forward to it. Noticed they have the YAK. Have your friend fly it and ask him if its accurate.
Yeah I think that's more how I'm controlling the camera rather than the recording or video settings thankfully. Got a hat switch on my joystick for view control, not ideal
Looking good lad, a bit jerky on the panning, but otherwise, I think you are going to have a lot of fun, another great landing, unicorns and rainbows. Catch you on the next one.
Yeah I think that's more because I'm using a hat switch instead of having a head tracking device. Plus I've got a "reset view" bind to quickly bring me front and center
Looks wise, great! But the way you were zooming on aircraft, it seemed very very laggy in the sense that your camera movement was pretty weird. Idk if I am the only one who feels like this.
Yeah I really want to spend more time with it. Taking some getting used to coming from civil aviation, things like military planes tend to like going around at near full throttle all of the time rather than cruising along economically
@@Doofer911 Yeah man, experienced the same huge gap between civil and military aviation when I first tried out DCS, thankfully there are tons on great tutorials on youtube that go in great depth about how to do things and not crash/blow yourself up lols :)
Amazing detail, just a bit jumpy when panning. Love it!

Nice one, yeah I've got a few DCS aircraft on my wishlist, the F18 being one of them. Let me know how it flies :)
Nice!!!
Ps... just landed my A2A 172 at Inverness after 1 week tour of the highlands and Shetland! Keep the videos coming!
Nice one! Hope you had a great time flying around up here :)
Trackir and the Yak will do you good. Welcome to DCS sir. Look me up by this name on multiplayer.
S!
Yeah definitely, maybe in the future I'll look at head tracking
Hope your enjoying that new computer build = ̄ω ̄= ..Looks like a gr8 build...Gr8 Solo BTW
Great - obviously your flying skills have improved now that you gained your real life Pilot Licence. Haha
Looks good...I think the 'jerky' panning kinda took the edge off the video. I bet you have seen a big improvement with your new system.

Very useful vid, thanks very much :D

Yeah I was using a hat switch on my joystick and a lever to control the zoom. Also got a quick reset button to recenter the view.
woow, lovely landing ... waiting for 777 videos though...love your videos
Coming soon!
Btw, how well is the 777 videos coming?? When is the first one going to come?? Love all your videos. :)
A few weeks away yet, I've got videos scripted but I still need to do recordings and editing.
Nice landing
Thanks very much :)
Fantastic!!!
Glad you like it!
