Hey I have a 2012 mk6 Jetta tdi, love the car, but I find the rear end doesn’t aggressive look enough. Is there anything I can do to remedy this?
100% agree with you. Only 2 options are adding a diffuser or replacing the bumper.
Hey bro, I’ve watched some videos that users have experienced condensation and faulty DRL encounters. Is it also safe to use a LED indicator bulb or does it need to be halogen? Cheers man
I have not had those issues. Originally I had Bi-Xenon bulbs then I switched to LED and now I’m running Bi-Xenon again. No issue. I will say the UV protection film started peeling after 2 years but that’s all.

I recommend upgrading the turbo outlet and throttle pipe before going stage 2! Me and a friend installed the USP kit this weekend and it yields noticeable gains even though it took us 5 hours :(

Honestly, fear of losing warranty made me avoid so many mods. Just got 90k miles and never had major service needs. Warranty was a waste tbh. So I say do the things you want because chances are you won’t be needing that warranty. Just start with simple mods like wheels exhaust intake tune
Recently got into your channel man. Really digging it. Leased a 2017 Tornando Red GLI last month and I am obsessed with it. Watching your vids is making me regret leasing it though haha. Will probably end up purchasing a new GLI or GTI when the lease is up so I can actually work on it. Keep up the good content ✌

Nice man! Welcome to the Vdub family. I have a ton of vids that show you have to customize parts of your car without it being permanent. Also, if you do get the bug to do some serious mods you can always purchase your car at the end of the lease. I'm sure the new GLI and GTI will be cool but the entire VW community is accepting of all years and models of vdub's. Im sure you'll be good either way. Thanks for supporting my channel.
yeah and so far it looks like shit. The spy photos show that the new body looks like a large passat sized kia optima. Hopefully volkswagen makes the mk9 smaller instead of bigger.
Thanks man! This is actually my third Vdub. Started it all off with a 02 Jetta VR6. I have considered maybe purchasing it at the end of the lease but it will depend on what changes are made over the next 4 years. I may want to plastidip the wheels at some point.

Congrats on the new ride. There are a ton of mods you can do. Some of the most common include: golf r style front bumper, suspension, deck lid spoiler, wheels, and headlights. Most of which you can find on eBay or Amazon. I’m sure both do international shipping. Have fun moding. Thanks for watching

Nice mk6, if you go with a CAI, think about purchasing a 3"down pipe to complete you exhaust system if you haven't already..AWE, Urotuning, APR, Milltek, Unitronic, MAPerformance and Revotechnik, just to name a couple. VDub is well supported..lol.

You should be able to because it’s the same platform.
I have the 1.8t MK6 Jetta and I am wanting a GLI now. I actually just got APR Stage 1 and loving it. I'm in the Phoenix area as well if you know of any local Euro Shops or anything.

I'm a VW tech, and I own 2 2016 Jetta sports, the 1.8 TSI IS MUCH BETTER than the 2.0. the layout is similar but the extra components and setup fail quite often. Just keep modding the 1.8 with quality parts and you WILL be surprised. The 2.0 has higher power potential BUT the 1.8 is MUCH more reliable! Good luck
I hope you upgraded the Discharge and Charge pipes!!! the stock ones can't handle boost very well. Downpipe should be next mod. MOST IMPORTANTLY, use high quality oil and change the filter every 2.5k miles, It's simple and filter only costs $10 bucks, keep that oil Clean!!!

I have a serious problem in the car and here in Brazil not only do I have this problem and can not get anywhere, the error name is P164B which is oil pressure drop and in this causes the ignition of the EPC lus with 4000 RPM , we exchanged oil pumps, sensors and nothing, continues the same error, I did the oil pressure test in high and hurry does not rise to the correct PSI stays low under 40 PSI and the normal is 43 to 62 PS in high, you know someone there in the US or someone could guide us to comosanar this cronica problem of jetta tsi 2013 if you can help me or pass to someone who knows about the error P164B would help me a lot.

Just discovered this channel and enjoying what i saw. I have the 2017 GLI 2.0L also & trying to figure out how to disable Park Pilot beeping. It's highly annoying that I gotta go into the settings everytime i start the car to disable the automatic park pilot setting. Any help?? xD
Welcome to my channel. I drive a manual so I’m not sure what sound you’re taking about. My car is generally quiet when it comes to random beeps. Next time you stop by the dealership ask them to turn it off. Usually they can with the software they have. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. Thanks for watching
It's the Park Pilot. When I drive under 15km or reversing the beeping starts when I'm close to an object or another vehicle. I can turn off that setting everytime i start my car but it doesnt deactivate permanently lol. kind of annoying

Can I put a ecs grille that goes on a mk6 Jetta and can I put it on a 2017 Jetta mk7
2017 is still mk6 so you can use the same parts such as the grille. Im pretty sure that excludes GLI since the section where the bumper and grille meet are slightly different.

That's a good chunk of chains but it makes sense because I have yet to successfully vinyl my roof or mirrors haha. I figured out how to get the antenna off but I don't wont to remove my headliner just to vinyl the roof.
Do the vinyl yourself. Take your time and do all the prep work. You should only be spending $80 to do it yourself and it is pretty fun.

+Cali Cuauhtli I’ve had mixed responses on that. Personally, I️ think it does void warranty. A VW technician told me not to mention it when I️ go in for service because they usually won’t check.

FrankieGisMe yeah i wanna lower mine first also, but i really like vmr wheels and rotiform. Im still totally lost on what kinda coils to go with, theres just so many mixed reviews on brands.
