Finally got my IE cai in, still waiting on the bore, the tune will be probably next year when I get the down pipe and straight to stage 2. But videos never do it justice just with the intake swap. Thanks again for your videos!

I have total my 2012 GLI due to frame damage. I’m so sad cause I was able to take it over to the father land while I was in the army. From the German autobahn up to Amsterdam, to Split Croatia w/ friends. Was looking at Toyota economy cars to buy, this video snapped me outta that.

I added factory fog lights, alloys, OEM blinker door mirrors.
My buddy programmed off the door chime, added key fob windows up/down, fog lights stay on with high beams, OEM chrome exhaust tips,folding package hook in trunk, and genuine VW GLI pedal kit!
Those are all little things that make the biggest difference!
How did you get the fog lights to stay on with the high beams ?

Been following you since I got my Jetta September of 2021. Since then ive gotten CTS high flow cat Downpipe, Big bore turbo inlet, ecs intake hoses, apr coil packs, k&n air filter, and stage 2 unitronic tune. It runs great I’m thinking coilovers next.

Nice video! I just got a MKVI and looking for ways to make it a bit sportier.
Personally, I feel like putting a lip kit on a car that hasn't been lowered wouldn't look quite as good. As such, I'd put lowering as 1, tune at 2 and lip kit at 3.
Though I get the time and cost of the lip kit is what moves it up. I just love the look of lowered cars, so I'm partial to it. Lol

I feel like the lip kits look better in cars that arent lowered personally, it makes the front and back lower and when lowered makes it easy to scrape off

A tune is something you download to your ECU basically. It’s your cars computer
I got you! I am here to help. Tuning refers to coding the cars ECU in order to make more power. To answer your next question, I got my lip from eBay but ecstuning and airdesign has some good options

What are your best upgrades for improving the handling after getting coilovers? Like upgrades in the swaybars, etc.
upgraded control arm bushings, rear sway bar, and good tires. All of those would be the best things to do to improve handling. Just make sure your alignment is in agreement

Currently on my MK7 1.4T Golf I’m running with a Unitronic CAI and a muffler and resonator delete. I was super concerned with the sound of my the muffler and resonator delete sounding obnoxious but tbh it sounds pretty decent

Was wondering if that cluster is out of a golf? I have a mk6 golf 2.5 and a mk6 Jetta tdi. The cluster in the golf is much nicer imo but was wondering if it’s even possible to make the swap

hey double check all the connections n screws, make sure they are tight. If anything, use some metal zip ties to screw it. Its difficult to give tips since I am not sure what part of the air box is loose.

So if I tune my car using the unittronic tunes and it says to get 93 octane and I had been using 87 would I have to get all of the 87 out or do leave the rest of it in and just add 93 when I need to refuel my car

questiion. does the flash tune risk any daily-driveability for the jetta? or would you recommend it in a "project car" with room for error?
A flash tune from a company who sells lots of them poses low risk . A company of a large scale wouldn't risk their business for a little more power. They tend to be more conservative but if u get a bad flash tune from a bad company, you're out of luck. I would recommend a good flash tune for a daily driver who doesn't want to worry about much.

auto for sure. You will get great gas mpg if its a lot of highway.

where did u buy the sideskirts?
I wanna do a tune on my 1.4t but hear that the clutch cant handle the torque over 185 ft-lbs. So either i keep stock until i need a new clutch or tune and get a clutch eventually in the future
Depends if you plan on keeping this car long term. I would say 80% if people needed to replace to clutch because it slips. If you plan on keeping the car for a while get the tune and an upgraded clutch asap

the wheels are 17s but people normally get better fitment with 18s. Really depends on the look u want

Start with something easy that you can put on yourself, some fake aero, an air intake, or seat covers. It's a slow process

research! 5x112 is our bolt pattern, so that will narrow it down. Try out 5x112.com and let me know if that helps, they sell wheels that are the same bolt pattern as our car.
What muffler would you recommend putting on a mk6 Jetta running a Unitronic downpipe stage 2. I’m looking for something still pretty damn loud and aggressive but not a fart cannon
I would say remove the mufflers n res . Then put in like a vibrant res in there. It's tricky with these cars because the exhaust diameter is so small

You have to find a local German shop. A local tuner or something like that. APR and unitronic have authorized dealers you can find on their websites. Ask some friends too!
I found a 2017 GLI 6 speed. $17K 1 owner @ 73,000 miles clean title. Good deal or nah? Looking at the engine everything is stock.

uhhh I don't have back seats. BUT when I did have them and/or a ton of food or supplies in the trunk/back seat, I still didn't have an issue. TBH the rear has no issues ever. ONLY the front.

U will get a check engine light with just a downpipe n a tune . The tune sorta fixes the cel and or the tune just disables it.

According to unitronic, downpipe with tune makes 196hp at the crank but I feel like that is wrong. Then u add the bolt ons and u get more. I'll get on a dyno soon to prove this
