I recently got braids in for the first time ever and I was curious as to how it typically looks after you take them out. Mine lasted for about a month and a week long so not too bad! Thanks for the video!
Wild growth hair oil is the one, I’ll tell you another good low key product to use for moisturising is pastas bkc leave in conditioner spray I’m actually amazed that there’s little vids on yt about this product.
First time having braids in a while, hit just under a month, it was time lol. Now I know a bit how to keep them fresh, keep the parts up. Probably won’t get pasta month or so though, I like the change
I am thinking to get those types of braids on the sides of my head to give me a Mohawk look without cutting my hair. I was wondering, how do you wash your hair without messing up the braids?
really trying to take care of and grow my hair for the first time since high school, like 12 years ago lol just got them braided and I've also been using wild grow, so I was glad to hear you're using it too lmao hope my shit gets long !
I definitely keep my braids in for at least a month to a month and a half! I throw my durag on with some shampoo usually by week 3 just to keep the scalp clean and the braids looking fresh.
@@nash5753 I shampoo my hair with my du-rag on to keep the braids in tact. After working the shampoo in and massaging my scalp with the Durag on I then remove the Durag and rinse the shampoo from my scalp thoroughly without massaging and I drain the water from my hair and scalp with an old T-shirt that will not pull on your hair and then I put a clean du-rag on my head and sit under the dryer for about 30 minutes and then you’re done.
@@R.Jaylyn 1 month ain’t that long homie. I just moisturize and grease to seal while my hair is braided I was after I take them down. I don’t use oil either because it makes my scalp itch over time. Grease is the key because it already has mineral oil in it plus it lasts longer

Right after you’re done getting your hair braided have them put peppermint oil on your scalp.. it will help to soothe the itching and then each week put a little bit more peppermint oil in your scalp
during the time that I had braids and no I did not wash my hair, I just would put wild growth hair oil in it to keep it moisturize and that’s about it, I usually wash my hair once I take them out
not necessarily but , straight back last longer and is easier to apply growth oil more evenly though out ur scalp, so yes in the long run it will grow your hair longer then other styles
While getting cornrows/braids it's done tight right...so I'm always thinking that my hair is being pulled from my brain, it's so tight. Do you have to worry about hair being pulled out while getting braided?

You can recreate that look by doing two strand twist while your hair is wet. You have to scrub the shit out of your scalp, when you take braids out.
restarting my hair soon to a low afro taper, should i wrap my hair up after putting products in it ?
you can do that , I recommend wrapping it at night mainly to protect ur hair while u sleep.. and when long enough a protective style
