Great insight into a fabulous car built by a very passionate individual. Hope I get to experience the Rodin FZED one day. This will add to my Lotus F1 experience.
You guys have worked very long and hard on the FZED, and should give yourself a big pat on the back. The results are incredible, and you should be proud of your ingenious and engineering prowess.
We have big goals and are determined to see them come to life. We can’t wait for that day when the Rodin FZERO is flying around the track! It’s getting closer!
That track is so beautiful, Whenever I fantasize about having a private race track it always looks something like this, I'd have it in Wyoming with a bunch of big beautiful peaks in the distance. I'll probably never be able to afford either that fantasy track or a FZED but it is cool to see someone gets to have it.
On the west coast of US, southern most tip of California lies the Imperial Sand Dunes of Glamis. A Funco F9 in the sand dunes of Glamis is said to be the world of Motorsports best kept secrets. Nothing else like it. Growing up karting, 125cc shifters, I bet this F1 experience is next level. But I would be hard pressed to say it’s a more exhilarating experience than tearing up the dunes in a Funco
Fantastic story. Fantastic video, sound, directing, camera and drone work, and production. Simply superb on all counts. Job well done- you showed the magic.
Would be awesome if Newey and Red Bull started making single / tandem seater trackday toys ranging from a basic 3 cylinder, H pattern cable shift single seater for 15-20k, all the way up to something ridiculous (in a good way!) like this for an eye watering 500k.
F2004 for me, it's insane, but to be honest, the Tatuus FA01 is already pretty amazing and does not drain all my concentration within minutes like the F1 car does. It's not always about raw power and speed, but the amount of grip and downforce in the corners makes the FA01 so much fun. Makes me wonder if you still get something similar IRL, because those had been dirt cheap.
Our driver's definitely understand focus and fearlessness. They understand controlled wildness, and always with the ultimate outcome in mind - that perfect lap and epic time!
Do yo guys sell cars only in NZ or to other countries? If yes are their any certain qualifications or buying criteria. How much would this engineering marvel cost?
We definitely sell our vehicles world wide. As part of the purchase, our customers are taken through a specifically designed and tailored 3 day driver training program which will teach them everything they need to know to successfully drive the vehicle; both technically and skillfully. Send us an email at enquiries@rodin-cars.com and we will be able to give you more information about the investment and ownership process.
This Car looking very interresting for a Track day formula car. But can i compete whit this car in a racing series (is it ready to race or need it some upgrades?) and exist there maybe a race sim (for example: rFactor2 or Assetto Corsa) mod for this car to use and training it in the simulator?
It depends on the racing series and regulations. We can work with our owners to develop and manufacture any additional upgrades that are required for specific racing series upon request.
I have seen "Maxx formula" race event during Euro Nascar, there was a wide variety of cars, old F1 cars, Indy cars, GP2 cars... all racing together. Maybe there it could participate. I was excited to see them racing, but the drivers were completely outclassed by their cars. They once braked at 250m, the next lap they started braking at like 150m, had a lock up and went off the track, then they would brake at 300m the next lap. They were spinning out on the way to the starting grid in the most bizarre way... It was a bit painful to watch them.
This is something even if I had the money I would take the time to level up through lower ranks then buy this thing then I’ll be ready to really push it
If I was rich enough, I’d buy this over any Bugatti, supercar or hypercar. At the end of the day, this is the ultimate driving experience in my mind. I don’t need a car like this to be road legal, we have no autobahn in the USA so it’s not like you could drive it flat out anywhere without getting mega speeding fines or a suspended license. Rodin should be proud of themselves for completing this project. Someone will get to make their dreams come true in it.
The ONLY thing I don't like is the rear spoiler and the sharkfin. I like the rear spoiler wide and low, which would look super sexy on this car. Performance car brakes can be really expensive. How much racing life can you get out of these carbon-carbon pads and rotors?
I am probably the odd man out here but, I would rather experience a Ducati V4 Superleggera on track. Nothing at all against the car. I am an F1 fan as well as Motogp and WSBK. Just my preference.
I can buy? You mean someone that is so rich that can budget millions of dollars of year just for leisure? I barely afford the gas in my tank let alone the tickets to see a race.
Some successful people say, "One of the most important things in creating the life you want, is setting goals." I have just discovered my goal.
@Kirin Kirin I think it’s fairly obvious what I mean
How far have you reached?
@@Lonewolf770 My dream is to be a writer full time. I’ve nearly finished my first book. Next step is publishing

We hope so too!

@@RodinCars Love the garages and the track. It is a shame that modern F1 racetracks look like children's playmats..
I was quite surprised when you said the price was about 500,000 pounds. I was expecting 2 million. That looks like a lot of car for the money.

Just now catching up w/this clog, 2022! Absolutely Spectacular! Everything!!! The Cars! New Zealand! The Track! Omg, what a Dream!!!
This is AMAZING! Great Job RODIN!
Loved, Liked and Subscribed!

I absolutely love driving t125 in Assetto Corsa! This must be amazing to drive in real life.

I may not be financially able to ever own the FZED but I would love to experience it or something similar in my life hopefully.
When he said half a million I actually thought “that’s it!” Lol
Ecactly what I’ve been looking for, let’s see how 2022 payout looks like and we’ll be talking soon.
That track is super sketchy. There is about 200 feet from the corner a huge cliff with no tire barriers. Big balls to drive flatout on that track.
Our driver's definitely understand focus and fearlessness. They understand controlled wildness, and always with the ultimate outcome in mind - that perfect lap and epic time!
Thanks for the music over the engine sound... /s

An engineering masterpiece 🙌💪
No amount of supercar or hyper car can compare to this F1 tyle of cars If had money to splurge now it’ll be this one for sure.
That V8 Cosworth sounds good!!!
Well done guys great vid
really nice looking formula car

Bring on the mechanics.
What class(es) can this race in?

I’ll just go and check my lottery tickets!🤞🤞
What a professional operation. I wonder if the Giz has the lap record.
is it street legal?
It's a 2011 formula 1 car, so it's not exactly Street legal

Excellent
"That is the most intense experience i have ever had behind a wheel of a motorcar" funnily enough anyone who drove any motorcar can say that.😂
The first thing to show on the sphere, once F1 take over, should be a video of all F1 Champions chronological 🙌
Its actually much more closely related to a formula 2 car than it is a formula 1 car.
That's actually affordable for a formula 1 car
It needs blinkers and lights so I can drive it on the highway 😂
Formula 1 Car Style
👍🥳🎉🕺💃
Time to look up how to make have a million 😜
This IS a LOTUS TYPE 125.
I have driven an F1 car 😉
Yo how much are these in GBP
Oh and can you get a halo on the top?
go have a rest day old man let me do the dirty work
Doesnt mean shit unless I can race it around silverstone or barcelona or frace.

So there’s truly not much new to this car, a Lotus design based on an A1GP car, based on the Ferrari F2004…
it sunf=ds better than modern f1
