    The Akans call a portion of the hilly Guans KYEREPONG in their twi languages but the indigenes refer to themselves as OKRRE: thats why we have OKERE DISTRICT and not "KYEREPONG DISTRICT".

    The Akim's cannot rule the Akuapim's forever, thus the Abotakyi accord should be reversed, where is the Independence of Ghana if within the country, some Tribes are still masters of other Tribes. The period of Abotakyi accord is OVER. Akuapim's are capable of Ruling ourselves, we the Akuapim's will live side by side with the Akim's, but they cannot be Kings over the Akuapim's anymore.

    • @jamesasamoa9055
      @jamesasamoa9055 3 роки тому +4

      Not exactly. They don't rule Akuapems. Two separate paramount stools with a historical agreement binding them. It's not a big deal. Ghana is a nation now.

    • @obengdavid6862
      @obengdavid6862 3 роки тому

      @@jamesasamoa9055 Akuapem should have one Paramount Stool,but not two, that has been existed for centuries, I don't think the Abuakwa's ,the Ashanti's or whatsoever has two Paramount Stools they serve, am not going to disclose myself too much, but am from Obosomase/Akuapim, my brother, with the wisdom of today, it is easy to conclude that the Historic Agreement was Childish on the part of my Akuapem leaders at that time, and am not sure they consulted the Gods of the land before coming to that conclusion, then on the part of the Akim's, it was an Invasion and occupation of land, according to the narration of the story, even according to the story narrated, the Akuapem''s also helped the Akim's in their war against the Ashanti's, why not such an agreement also went on there? The deceiving Stone that was planted has in this generational era been germinated, because knowledge has exposed it, I love the Akim Remnants living in peace side by side with the Akuapim's, but the Akim's should not OWN A STOOL again on Akuapim land, a SINGLE STOOL deserves the Akuapem''s. Two STOOLS, which is Greater?
