Not only does this soundtrack slap but Plok himself is such a cool fucking character concept. Whenever he gets mad, he literally just has a giant V over his eyes and I love that so god damn much.
You think this is impressive just go check out Tim Follins work on the NES game Solstice, or the ZX Spectrum (which was almost literally a beeper for sound) more specifically for Agent X. He also has works for Silver Surfer and Pictionary for SNES and Time Trax for the Sega Genesis.
One of my favorite game OSTs of all time. Lemme tell you man, Tim Follin goes hardcore on these tracks, and most of his work was on shitty NES games. I hope Plok 2 comes out in the future, it deserves to!
Not a harmonica fan but...Plok is my 2nd best SNES score just behind Castlevania 4 just because that's like the perfect orchestra. Overall, Plok is an amazing orchestra just with less instruments but not less power. Maybe less textures but not less harmonies!!!
Plok is such a fantastic game! It’s so underrated and fun with a lot of creative abilities, fun mechanics, colorful/vibrant visuals, lots of charm and an AMAZING godlier soundtrack! It’s such an underrated SNES game that deserves more love.
I love how all the comments are calling him a good song writer (with his now passed away brother Geoff, I'm glad he's getting recognition). However, Tim Follin has made a video game.

This is unreal. Craziest soundtrack Ive heard from the snes. This composer has some great talent.
probably the greatest video game composer ever; capable of a zillion styles
His name is... Tim Follin. He also made this ua-cam.com/video/4_gObHt1uZA/v-deo.html
Geoff Follin also composed for this game!

Tim wouldn't make the OST for a plok 2 sadly. :(
he quit working for video game studios
@@Eviled that sucks :(

How does a five-minute SNES track sound like Side A of a prog album?
Guess where tim follin got all his inspiration from
actually 3 minutes because it repeats
Tim Follin
A good programmer/composer
Perhaps a little unlucky
But still totally grills it all in music.
"good" almost seems like an insult when talking about Tim Follin
Not exactly unlucky. He chose less mainstream games to have a more creative direction.(I think?)
@@Mizu2023that would make sense, and thank goodness for that. silver surfer, pictionary, plok… outstanding soundtracks.
Just want to say Geoff Follin died of Pancreatic Cancer recently. Tim is still around. May he rest in plok.
