You prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me atm you can stream all the new series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend recently :)
@Nickolas Bowen yea, I've been using instaflixxer for months myself :D
@Nickolas Bowen definitely, I have been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
@nickname boten
Oh hell no. Not in MY house, funkers.
Fun fact: this game impressed Miyamoto so much that the visuals in Yoshi’s Island were influenced by this game.
And rayman
Even the title theme sounds like yoshi's island music.
Fun fact: i ate gum.
@@AHorseThatIsARadish now that was fun. thanks.
Miyamoto was also impressed with the games music and sound and thought that the SNES was modded
a shame that this game is as obscure as it is, the boss theme absolutely bangs
You really like hurting other people, don't you?
never heard of this game but it almost looks like it has ristar vibes?
I like how you're a little plushie fighting goofy looking cartoon bugs and stuff but the music makes it sound like you're fighting an evil AI for the fate of humanity.
i have no flags and i must slay
A cartoon character on his way to get his flag back and fight goofy looking creatures while the music played like it's a fight scene from John Wick.
>Boss music plays
*>*
😆
What would be in place of the special units?
The first 3 boss fights are disproportionately difficult compared to the latter. Perhaps fitting, given that aside from the Bobbins Bros. (and MAYBE the fleas, depending on what you read into the setting), Plok is the aggressor; the latter half or so of the game changes the focus from "Plok must recover his stolen goods" to "Plok goes on a murderous rampage against everyone he has a beef with". Despite the bright colors and whimsical, cartoonish, abstract aesthetic, the titular character is an ornery, ill-tempered thug not above venting his aggression on passerby.
it's fascinating what stories "actually" happen, if one is to take a dry look at the action.
I guess you can say that Plok... likes hurting other people? ;3c
The cute Plok murdering everyone on his path is perfect
@@jambon2730 He and Kirby would get along just fine.
According to the Wiki, Plok's genocides are because those guys were plotting to overthrow the kingdom... Really interesting shit.
The boss theme was so good they didn’t need a final boss theme
I’m mad that you are correct
Plok IS the boss.
Tim Follin went so fucking hard on game music for some reason. Bless him.
The boss theme was well, *BOSS*
Also and Plok's grandfather is a badass in getting rid of three of the brobbin bros and in less time as well!
“What the hell is that in the thumbnail?” First thought seeing this on my feed.
Why the boss music so spooky? Holy shit. 😂
I think Tim Follin made it.
@@randomguyontheinternet7940 Yes.
Spooky? It's for slaying Russians.
Snes game about a colorful toy-like guy fighting frogs and stuff in absolutely family friendly environment with music that sounds like you're a wicked maniac committing a shootout with local mob
The "Frogs" your talking about are Fleas
Loved this game as a child.
The Penkinos was an insanely creative boss fight
Oh they were a wall though. If you didn't have the patience for that fight you didn't have the patience for the game.
Plok is a very underrated game and was one of my favorites as a kid. It was so hard and I didnt beat it until I played it again recently as an adult
How to describe this game in two words:
"Tim Follin"
You get plok, a progrock tim follin ablum masterpiece. Plus a game
Don’t forget Geoff Follin either
I definitely like intense music which plays during boss battles
The laughs that the bosses make reminds me of Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge SNES game. Which have some bizzare bosses as well but not on this level of bizzare.
Same composers, Legendary Tim and Geoff Follin
Plok!, one of the rarer and weirder SNES titles.
Also, I sometimes call Plok, VelcroMan. (His limbs are attached with the stuff)
I can’t get enough of this boss music that’s my jam
This looks like it was a really good game - it doesn't strike me as being typical of the games normally associated with Nintendo however - definitely something quite different.
A modernized fully rendered Plok game would be so cool
I still can’t get over the plot of this game the guy just wants his fucking flag back
It's Plok'o clock, bitches!
It’s creepy that Plok gets seemingly paralyzed in midair when he loses a life
Man, this game is hard as balls.
The devs did that so kids would take longer to play it since video game cartridges couldn’t hold that much memory
My balls exploded
@mehtalcypress and so that people wouldn't share passwords around
Also: that would be most any game in the 80s and 90s really, not just a plok exclusive thing (although the no passwords was why the devs didnt have that in), and thank rental stores as well
This game has an epic boss theme
Wait do people still remember this character?
I do!
You Bet Your Ass!😠😆
With a soundtrack that good, how could we forget?
Vinnesause
🙋🏻♂️
Damn straight
One of the harddest games of super nintendo ever. Part of my life
The whiplash you get when the BGM goes from Carpenter Brut to a cutesy victory theme
one of my all-time favorite snes games
i didn’t know a boss theme could go so hard until now
The intro of the game looks amazing!
why this game wasn’t more popular is beyond me. i only just heard of it and im 38
Same here. One thing that turned me off are the graphics. They're too simplistic, which is in direct contrast to the game's OST!
Final score: 695250
If only it was just a little lower...
surprised it took you this long to play this one.
The fact that there’s three of them for the first boss when playing as grandpappy implies that one of them died before plok fought them.
I am 10 months late, but the instruction manual says the third brother left the group due to creative differences. They did perform in like a circus, iirc.
@@SyRose901 oh! Thank you for the info!
Game has only one boss fight song but GAHD DAYM is it good
A game like _this_ really needed limited lives and continues with no way to save.
No
So it’s basically Rayman before Rayman was a thing.
With more interesting mechanics, actually.
Rayman if the difficulty balancing was even worse
forget cuphead or dark souls, this game is the hardest
for the looks of it
This guy should be in..
SMASH
#PLOKFORSMASH
bro the theme be bopin tho
One of the rarest Super Nintendo games. Hey look at a mouth with limbs
Wait it's rare?? I still own my copy omg, can I get a lot of money for it??
Ahhh but I don't want to sell it, either.
I remember as a kid this game was hard af
There's actually a rom hack for Mario Brothers 2 and it actually features one of the enemies in this game which is a blue-footed, blue haired Brown pear I guess?
Shprouts, I believe
Boss master!
Wow. To think this came from the creators of Wetrix, which is one of my all-time favourite puzzle games...
Seriously, why isn't this on the NSO SNES Collection, that's just sad
The levels are way more harder than cuphead's levels
So fucking true
I feel like they did Flea queen a little dirty here. I mean, yeah, it is sorta hard to control Plok when he’s bouncing around on those springs, but once you get the hang of that, the whole thing’s easy as pie! I honestly wish they could’ve done more with her, made her summon more fleas or actually make her mobile in some way instead of having her stick to the ceiling and occasionally dropping down to the floor so you could spray her with Raid cans and then continuing to just shoot rocks at you until the fights over.
El estilo artístico de este juego me recuerda a esos perritos, gatitos, ositos dibujados con un estilo parecido que viene acompañado de alguna frase motivacional
I could beat all these bosses without getting a GAME OVER, but there was no way I was beating any of them WITHOUT GETTING HIT! Not even the Bobbins Bros. I think I did that, like, ONCE, LOL. Or maybe I could do that as a kid, but wow...
I came across this game randomly while lookin for synth music. What even is this game and why have i never heard of it before?
the boss theme in this game is the reason children feared bosses
Boa noite meu amigo parabéns você joga muito ✌️👍
Never steal someones flag
I've been diddled again!
At first he just wanted the flags back
In the end he went for genocide
I've only beat this game once almost 30 years ago. 😅
This game inspired me to amputate my limbs
my favorite boss is the penkinos brothers
I love this game but was never able to get to the final boss
YES YESSSSS
I like to compare it with the Mega-Drive version, when available.
There's a mega-drive version of plok?
@@Superscope64
Not sure...
@@stormxjp There isn't.
The only flaw this game had was it didn't allow you to save. I was never allowed to play for long as a child, so that was a major issue. 😢
Funny enough, Flea Queen's mascara only makes her look *more* disgusting.
(At least to me.)
Jesus christ! What's going on with that hitbox in bobbins bros?
Please do Rocky Rodent SNES all boss battles
looks like zoidberg before futurama.
This was hard as when i was like 7 years old lol
Damn what a praise to get if Miyamoto thinks your game is one of the best of all time
Carpenter Plok
Did you know plok was made in a town close to mine in the UK called Manchester
I noticed his helmet had the uk flag symbol on it
The boss theme goes from payday 2 to hotline Miami 2🙄
Man, your hitbox is way smaller than the actual character.
Can plok do the metroid screw attack??
this fucking bgm man
Jesus Christ that first boss...
First Bosses, there's two of those guys.
Plok IS the final boss
Do Yoshis Island (SNES) !!!!!!

Hotline
Miami
I played a video too
Such an odd game. Also, why can't we turn off Auto-Play on UA-cam anymore??
I still can turn that off. Maybe a technical problem?
The autoplay button has been moved to the left of the CC (closed captioning) in the video frame. It no longer appears in the upper right of the screen. I never liked autoplay but I guess they tried to hide it.
@@GillianMStarlight Even so it doesn't always appear.
Plok save and kiss, nononono.. fight the Flea Queen.
Perturbador laying eggs used weapon 😨
Fight Queen Alien saga.
10:57 Great plok Has a Union Jack helmet
Which implies that Great Britain exists in the Plok Universe.
@@aayushpal6621same with the USA
am i the only one who thinks the bosses are kind of unsettling

Fun fact: the mouth of the bobbins bros is the mouth of Huggy Wuggy.
I'm pretty sure MOB games didn't look at some SNES game made in 1993 and think to make Huggy Wuggy's mouth resemble that of one of the Bad Guys in that very same game.
?????????
Everything about this game, from the music to the design, was unintentionally creepy and really annoying. Another forgotten chapter in the great mascot wars of the mid 90s
You think that boss music is unintentionally creepy?
funny the first boss he fighting looks like fat eyeless "huggy wuggies" lol
