Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup water (125ml)
- 1 cup sugar (250ml)
If you want, you can dip the fruit in cold water right after dunking it in the sugar. It makes it harden right away :)
another thing you could do to the sugar at the end is cook it a little bit longer till its a little darker and add cream and stir and it would make a nice sauce

Hi, so I’m making this rn and it’s just sticky like it’s not crunchy at all what can I do?
If probably needs to be cooked longer. Just keep testing it & when it turns a light golden brown it’s almost there. Also make sure to use a very low heat in the beginning and not stir when it’s boiling or else the sugar will turn gooey
But it’s turning to hard candy like it’s crystallizing
@@Victoria-mj9mt then it’s probably because you’re heating it too high when dissolving the sugar in the beginning. It will crystallize if the heat is high while stirring
Mine is gooey that it sticks to my teeth. 😟 I don’t have the thermometer and I don’t even know what heat it needs cause my induction cooker can only select from 300 and jump right to 600.

Is this caramel suitable for all berries or just for strawberries?
There are quite a lot of fruits you can use! Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, cut up watermelons, oranges/tangerines, basically any fruit that is fresh and you can cut the fruits into smaller sizes too :)
