Man I wish you could look at my 2022 Genesis GV70. I am having some issues with possibly my suspension it clicks, rattles, and even pops when I turn the wheel to the left.
Hey Marko, first thing first, thanks for making the video for the community! I was actually there at the dealership you work at yesterday checking out a CPO GV70. In your experience, how often does the whining noise issue happen to the 2022/2023 2.5T model?
Is this the same/similar transfer case that was used in the 2015 Sedans? Does the transfer case come pre-filled from the factory? Good thing you have co-workers on hand to help you out and press the gas lol
Yes they are all prefilled coz they said its not serviceable. For the difference, for the genesis g80 they have flange for the mid shaft, for the gv70 it just a spline and as per the service information, g80 uses bldc motor(brushless) and for the gv70 it just says dc motor. Hahha they have no choice coz i ask them hahahha.
@@hyundaitech Is there a vent hole on top where the fluid could be drained from if the unit was removed from the car and tipped over? or is it 100% sealed? I've heard of one person tapping drain and fill holes for it lol! Interesting to know, which unit do you think is better? lol haha
@@4555Anthony i cant say which one is better, feels like they are the same i replaced some of the models on the g80 maybe 3 since they came out from since 2015, and one of them was faulty because when they tow it they let the back wheels left on the ground hahhahaa. And on this gv70 3 times because of noise. Hehehe
Theres no tsb yet, the second vehicle was at 20 000km if im.not mistaken. I dont know man , coz we have some gv70 and gv80 with high mileage already like 60 to 80k km, so far no.issues with the car. Unless those failure vehicles they went offroading? Hahaha.

My G70 is doing it when turning right at slow speeds. Did you figure out what your problem was?
Genesis owners have to watch this video not only for trouble shoots but also basic techs.

@@hyundaitech lol that's good to know and mines not making any noise yet on my 2015!
@@4555Anthony yeah its just those weird situations that failed and neglect of the vehicle like for example uneven wear pattern of the tires.
should people avoid the GV70 due to rear diff issues? or is it fairly reliable?
Its pretty reliable, and its very rare they have that rear diff issue.
So , is the second vehicle already, is there any TBSB , what was the mileage at the point of failur

Glad to hear that there are GV 70 & 80 with high decent mileage/KM
