They have to make sure that front differential is not rusted on the spline going in to the transmission. If the issue is when activating 4wd and rear tires are not spinning, i would suggest to double check the spline on the front diff before going any further.

No i havent encounter that yet.

That could be the release bearing or the the springs in the clutch plate.

I just used the funnel and just warm up the vehicle until you dont see any bubbles in the funnel coming out.

Yeah more or less same thing. It could be a little tight to get those bolts that hold the bearing.

Try removing tge cable in the transmission and see if it free up the binding, then while you are there move the inhibitor switch lever if it moves freely. If still not moving, yiu have to take it apart the shifter assy on the center console coz i think that mechanism is jammed inside.

You can get them from all data, identifx in my case i use factory diagram.

I dont think the newer models has that rubber coupler, maybe the noise coming from the universal steering shaft? The piece below the steering column. And double check if you have any play in the steering and suspension underneath the vehicle.

Ok. I have another question. When the steering intermediate shaft is off the car, when i rotate the steering wheel it seems stuck until i put enough pressure to turn it. When it moves, either left or right, then i let it sit in that position for a few seconds, the steering is hard to start moving again. No matter what the position the steering wheel is at. I remember hydraulic steering is smooth all the time. But i dont know how electric steering reacts when the veh is off and the shaft is of. Is it supposed to be smooth turning. Or notchy feeling.

@@bobstang4297 note make sure if you disconnect steering shaft make sure you make a mark to its same position when you took it off, and second it will be hard to turn the steering wheel when its on off position coz it needs power to turn or move the motor for the steering.

@@hyundaitech i marked it. Ive taken it off 3 times now. The joints werent completely smooth to rotate by hand. So i soaked them in oil. They seem to move smoother now. Im trying to fix the notchy feeling in the steering wheel. Most noticeable at freeway speeds. Going straight, then i do a slight correction and it seems stuck when correcting. Not effortlessly smooth. If i wiggle it slightly from center, it feels notchy. So trying to fix it.

Thats the big question, but so far the vehicle did not come back for any engine issue.

Which harness?

State of charge or health? Where do you get those numbers? Unless when you go to your dealer and when do the battery testing and it fails then yeah theres a chance they will warranty it, but if theres no failure on the battery test unfortunately they wont just replace that because of 60 or 70 percent.

@hyundaitech I can see those numbers in the Genesis App (under Connected Services). I noticed some issues like the Idle feature (start/stop)not working, all four windows not rolling down, and the mirrors not folding sometimes. I think that could be the reason. What do you think?

@@dannyr6016 when state of charge is below 75 percent, start stop function will.not work. Usually if its like that, the tech will check the battery then recharge the battery then retest, if it pass they will just let you go, if not they will try to claim for battery warranty.

In this video i believe i use a white lithum grease, but googling whats best to use , its the silicone grease. When you apply those product make sure the track is clean and just apply lightly.

Maybe repeated overbumps driving and i guess especially if no one is seating at the back not too much tension. And the rubber that holding that damper i guess to small. Hahaha i dont know really.

You have to buy ivt fluid specifically for that hyundai transmission then you fill in up on top theres a plug there and on the front on the transmission theres also a plug, you let it run warm it uo around 50 to 60 degrees celcius transmission temperature then you can remove the front plug then if steady stream coming out then you are in the correct level.

Cylinder 3 is the one under the intake surge tank the middle cylinder.

Did you check first the outer tie rod or inner tie rod or the steering rack? If they are all good and the mounting bolts for the universal joint is good and tight most likely the steering column issue, and i believe those 2017 santa fe models doesnt have those rubber coupling like the sonata. Hope that helps.

Atleast 1.5, replacement, test drive and if theres an option for tge clutch reset.

I wouldnt recommend any other liquid in the engine other than engine oil in my opinion

If I latch it manually with a screwdriver, then it opens the latch fine but if it latches on the striker it doesn't. Its like the gate tries to come up but stays put and latches back

Did you try when you try to open it to assist the tailgate to open? Do you see anything in the striker that signs of scratch or something like that? Maybe the striker and the latch is not line up correctly?

@@hyundaitech I tried to pull it open when I hit the buttons with no luck but yes honestly I do see on the left side of the striker almost like it's more to one side

@@johnromero1887 maybe try adjusting it and see loosen the torx screw then move the striker while holding to its position then retightened the screws. Let me know

@@techgeek2994 i have a aftermarket scantool its called thinktool pro and it can do most and can scan and check data too in different modules and can actuate components the only thing that i cant do is program or reflash computer coz i think you need a subscriptions for that. Yeah you can check other brand too like autel and launch or topdon.
