@@boostedmedia I would love if you guys would add your telemetry to the bottom right or maybe in a separate video so you don't break immersion. I love watching your races but it would be a world of help to also see your telemetry.
THIS IS BANANAS, this feels like the most realistic race you've ever filmed. I felt like I was there.... I love my single 24in, couldn't imagine the realism of 3 65s
How close do you have your 24in monitor mounted? I mean I absolutely love Sim racing but it's definitely not because of my 24in monitor lol. That's most likely my next upgrade as I struggle with such low field of view.
@@DeltaInsanity it's 2in behind my wheel. As close as possible. hahaha
@@alexanderpisarski1841 when you say 2in behind the wheel, I'm assuming you mean between the wheel and the base? That's where I'd like to mount mine if I don't upgrade, but haven't done so yet. Currently I have it just behind my wheelbase, and I need to run 45° FOV in iRacing at that distance. What FOV can you get away with?
@@DeltaInsanity Yeah my Simagic has the extender on it, so it sits nicely between the wheel and the base. I'd rather have it right there then have it that crazy FOV

Awesome video, Will! The ambient lighting improvements are looking fantastic! It's motivated me to get mine up and running again asap.
3 laps on nords against AI in AMS2 is basically my favorite thing to do in sim racing.
especially at sunrise with light rain and fog clearing to light clouds as the sun rises higher.
I do the same on RF2. It's such a nice way to spend some downtime on the sim. I'll give AMS2 a shot. I don't play it enough.
You weren't kidding! I'd forgotten how much better AMS2 looks than RF2. FFB is just as good. I spent a couple hours racing the AI around the Nordschleife in Group C and the GT1's. Both are fantastically fun to drive. I'm back on an AMS2 kick thanks to you and @boostedmedia!

That was epic! Lovely to see the greatest field of GT cars to ever race in such quality. Given how crazy fun that race was, It would be pretty Interesting to see a rip in the 1970 Trans Am cars on Road Atlanta. Great job.
ambient lighting is a subtle but noticeable touch, nicely done (nice driving too 😁)
AMS2 = +1. What a great game. Wish the multiplayer would grow and some online team/endurance features would be added.
I love historical layouts of cult tracks in this game, like a asseto corsa first.
I could even feel the sense of speed, cant imagine actually in the sim. GOD I WANT YOU SETUP !! Lol.

I love doing ai laps in AMS2 with the RSR after a long day of work. Of all the sims i have driven that combo feels the most intuitive and natural to me. Always enjoy your content buddy!

You're very lucky to have the support you have. For years I had tried to upgrade and still just can't. Running on a desk chair on a 24inch monitor thats running at 35fps.

AMS2 is great. You'll just have to tinker with the setup of many cars. As a lot have the tendency to snap oversteer when hitting the gas.

How do you find the VR graphics compared to the graphics in this video mate?
@@adamlitchfield3371 depends on the hardware your gonna use I suppose...I'm using a gaming laptop with quest 2 via link cable and can have most graphics settings on high at 80hz ...Automobilista 2 was built from the ground up for VR where most games are other way around. Its obviously not as sharp as on a TV but still pretty good.

@@adamlitchfield3371 by the time you spend £500-£1000 on a pc then the same on a decent wheel/rig then the VR headset you'll be cheaper buying a ps5 with psvr 2 as GT7 in VR will buy a class leader for a while graphics wise.
@@OldSkooI I'm hoping that that's true mate but I wasn't too impressed with the short GT7 gameplay clip that they released, it seemed to lack detail and be a bit last-gen but I could be wrong.

Great race!.. I'd like to see some 70's Can Am or 70's Lemans cars..... if you really want big brutish cars and sounds. Nothing like the sound of a Mclaren M8 or a Lola T70 with a big block Chevy or the feel of speed of a Porsche turbo 917. Used to watch them as a kid growing up at Road America in Wisconsin back in the day. (showing my age)

It's Nürburgring or Nuerburgring. It's not related to burgers. Wether to old nor new ones 😉. It's referencing the name of a castle, the Nuerburg, near by. Sry for being a wisenheimer but as a German and fan of this track I felt somehow triggered ☺️😇

I hope they can get the AI sorted in this title, it drives me nuts that the AI has no confidence and always bails out and moves out the way for the player. You can completely manipulate them in corners as you showed in this video .
Take the inside corner then start to drift out on exit and they will always hit the brakes, rather than hold their line.

FOV settings are highly dependent on screen size, distance to screen, etc. I doubt Will's setup has the same dimensions as yours.

I just have it set to the physical measurements. Useless information for anyone else.
1090mm from my eyes to the centre of each screen which ends up being 57 degrees for each angle.
