Mariya was just given permission hours ago by World Athletics to compete in international track and field events as a neutral this year while Russia still remains suspended.
The decision comes in time for Lasitskene to defend her world indoor championship title in Belgrade, Serbia, next month.
Clearly something has been bothering Masha and Im not making this comment as an excuse but what a roller coaster this woman rides just to be able to compete as well as all the added pressure put on her to preform at the highest level ... few could even imagine let alone endure and so, Kudos to Mariya for holding fast!!!
With this situation now behind her I for one wish this spirited athlete the very best in 2022
and am hoping to see her back on top again very soon where she deservedly belongs .............
but with no ukraine trio (because of you now what happen) it mean no party just her vs australian

What you just said is not true. Maria PB is 2:06 and the world record of Bulgarian Stefka Kostadinova is still unbeaten 2:09. Maria is my favorite by the way.
