- What a high level competition, with a great champion who quietly works her way throughout the season without much fanfare. She shows us that slow and steady wins the race! For the runner up, always the bridesmaid. We all know physically she has it, however once again, she couldn't pull through when she needed the most. With time on her side, I’m sure she will mature and improve her strategy and/or mentality, then the world will be hers. For the bronze, it’s always exciting to see familiar face get a comeback and 2m at that, amazing! Also congrats to Gerashchenko who finally joins 2m club!

The beautiful Yaroslava and so nice too. Second on jumps but gracious in her loss. I heard her comments after the competition and she was very appreciative of the opportunity to compete and thankful for all the support she had been given. It has not been easy for the Ukrainians. She is a joy to watch!!

She is so beautiful and what an athlete
Mahuchikh sure has amazing jumping ability! I would love to see her improve on her turn and her takeoff. Her turn is too straight at the end, which she still nearly pulls off every time since she jumps through the roof! But she also drives her free leg up and extends it, BEFORE, bending it to get the shorter body needed to quicken rotation. Timing is everything!
She is the one that is most capable of breaking the world record! She is awesome, and her coach is awesome! It is really fun to see how these women have progressed! Well done ladies!

Yarosalva is extremely beautiful, no doubt. Beside that, I pretty admire patterson's jump, it's clean and sharp.
Actually Petterson are very good jumper she becomes World Junior Champions when she still 15 year old and qualified 2015 world championsip on Beijing when she still 17, if not she quit from HJ on 2018 she migh be better than her own team mate Nicola Olyslager (McDermot) on Olympic last year
Eleanor is a legend, her jumping style is like no one else's. Yaroslava too, soo amazing. Love to see the great Nicola McDermott being so happy for her team-mate, I mean just look at that genuine joy on her face, such an angel, everyone deserves a friend like Nicola!!
And also Vallortigara, what an achievement!!!

Similar sort of performances by Ukrainian like in Doha wc19 where they finished 2nd & 4th with both players jumped same height as their opponents who held 1st & 3rd positions but they they ranked below them bcoz of countback.

It's strange to see that Bruus of Estonia 🇪🇪 & Distin of Jamaica 🇯🇲 both jumped more than Patterson & claim Gold yesterday. One becoming World u20 champion & the other as CWG'22 champion while Patterson settled for Silver only cleared height of 192cm

This was put together very nicely, Great music, great competition. I would love to see the whole thing, but just the women high jump. Theirs not enough woman’s diamond league high jumping on UA-cam. But I thank the person who put this together! Nice job!

How is it that Patterson won with 3 bad attempts before 2.04 vs. 2 by Mahuchikh?
She had successful attempt at 2.02 with fewer attempts than Mahuchikh. In other words the last successful height attempts is all that matters. If they are equal then we examine the previous heights.

Blurred movement of competitors during run up. Makes one think this deliberate as does not happen most times. If deliberate then decision makers should hang heads in shame.

Where is Russian high jumpers?
First, Russian high jumpers were allowed to participate as unafilliated "white shirts" because of Russian doping scandal. Then they were completely banned due to Russian invasion of Ukraine. I am against the Russian invasion, but I think that amateur sports should be allowed to continue.
