The Green Knight catching the Irondrakes makes me irrationally annoyed on behalf of the Dawi
Ooph. That Green Knight charge was killer. Any thoughts on sacrificing the champion to absorb the lance bonus? May not have helped with the bad leadership test, but the ld10 may have been good?
That was just my overconfidence in the King's survivability. That would've been a good idea.
I will never not love the classic goblin green bases.
Not the most insightful comment in regards to outcome or strategy. But I feel it need be said, för many of us watching.
Had a few comments on those at the tournament today. My only fear is that one day I'll run out of my original mid 90s green flock.

@@Andy2D6 respect for your patience. As soon as the first old world release I ordered my full highlands miniatures 3d printed army. Could be years until GW pulls the finger. Their biggest hindrance for a great old world start and success so far: they dont sell the miniatures for their own game. How many years will it take? Its been half a year already. But I respect your decision to only use official miniatures. I personally would never do that but I respect it.
Front rank =/= fighting rank. Character may move to the rank the unit is engaged in.
The recurring theme of your games is wide spread of your units across the field. I think it is a bad tactic, as your units aren't able to support each other, and opponents pick their fights however they like. Dwarfs need cohesion because of their limited movement. I rarely deploy Rangers away from my other units, and try to keep them such way, so that when they get charged, deal their damage and fall back/flee, the enemy has to overrun into my combat units or get charged by them. You should also try to see gyros from a different perspective, they are very good light cav unit, very important for flank/rear charges and the ability to pursue broken units.
In the tournament report I'm starting very shortly, I try some different deployment tactics against specific armies. I generally don't like to castle up too much, because I don't want to deter the enemies from attacking me.
The Bretonnian player made some questionable tactical choices. Did he forget that all models with the grail vow are stubborn?! The grail knights could have Fallen back in Good Order in the end and preserved their points.
Also the Green Knight is so versatile and has 360° line of sight. He could have eaten an organ gun instead of attacking the warriors, he could have appeared in the other forest at the end and rear charged the gyrocopter. He was used like a Hammer in this game when he is a scalpel.
On another note: Was every forest on the map dangerous terrain? In TOW a forest that is difficult terrain is not dangerous for cavalry. They do not have to make tests unless the forest is dangerous terrain for everyone.
At the TSN, all the forests are deadly.

Where I can find that terrain cards and spell cards?
Spell cards are sometimes available from GW. Terrain maps are given out at Old World events at the TSN Arena.
It may just be me, but trying to base my beastmen so they are easily converted to KoW. You giving that any thought when building fantasy armies?
My Dwarfs can easily be used for both, but I have so many KoW armies I'm putting my Bretonnians on their new base sizes.
