I like your videos. It seems to me that the horizontal boards should have all met on the corners for a more appealing look... just my view on the look is all. Great work...

I think the little helper (with the magnets) for the saw is great, and I will probably build it for me.
That on the one hand was a little air, something can happen quickly. But you have found a solution to it. 😉
That little helper is not perfect. So I didn't post the making video.
The problem is the slight opening of the cutting edge on the saw. (I can't find the right word to describe it.) It hurt the wooden guide.

Do you mean the "offset" of the saw teeth so that the saw "cuts free" and does not jam?
Yes, that's right. In Japanese it is called Asari.
