    I've been doing brokers hyper nourishing protocol for 6 days. I've finally got energy, enough to go shopping, do the gardening, visit my son for lunch and to do housework. Haven't been able to do this for more than 6 months since contracting COVID that turned to long haul COVID. I cannot thank you and your wife enough. There are no words to describe how grateful I am to you both and how dumbfounded I am that I wasn't Told about this years ago

      Is that your entire food intake for the day? I'm just about to begin making the smoothies. Oh, and how much smoothie do you make for the day? I just bought a 64 oz. Vitamix and wondering if that's how much I should make.

    Thomas, thank you both for sharing your knowledge. I have been following a WFPB diet for 3 years now but my recent labs were off. My PCP has told me to go back to eating meat
    I have low iron, low B12, and high billirubin. Do you think Dr G can help me?

    • @cherylcastillo7020
      @cherylcastillo7020 2 місяці тому

      I'm no expert but vitamin C helps you absorb iron. Add a high vitamin C food to your iron foods. Take a B12 supplement! Even folks who eat meat can get low on B12.

  • @kim_858
    @kim_858 8 місяців тому +1

    I know I'm late to the game.. but, you need to be careful with supplementing iron.
    If you get the wrong one, it can constipated you.
    There's a brand out there called Slo-Fe...
    They that one.

    Visceral fat is burned up by sprinting not long distance running. Don’t eat processed food. Eat wholefoods. I watched a doctor this morning talk about MRI scans that show visceral fat and fat just below the skin. People who gave up junk food, processed food and did sprinting or fast short interval training, no alcohol actually reduced their visceral fat.

    Another question of mine please...I've been diagnosed as having lupus since 2021 (post vaxxed reaction) after 3 consecutive tests. My lupus test lately - anti-dsDNA Antibodies (January 11,2023) was at 158.1 IU/ml then after 8 months (August 17,2023) I tested again and the result is 68.5 U/ml. Does it mean that I'm near to be a lupus free individual? 🙏

    Aren't cruciferous vegetables contraindicated for Hashimotos Thyroiditis?

    • @cherylcastillo7020
      @cherylcastillo7020 2 місяці тому

      No. Take seaweed or iodine supplement separately from the cruciferous foods. Dr. G has patients who got better doing this.

    Anytime I start doing this diet, I don’t get enough calories and lose too much weight. Yes, I have the issue of LOSING weight. What can I do?

    • @Lieutenant-Dan
      @Lieutenant-Dan 8 місяців тому

      I'm the same, naturally skinny, very hard for me to put on weight. From what I can gather, you can hyper nourish on top of whatever you usually eat, you just have to get enough calories. I've seen full day of eating from Thomas and he's smashing smoothies with protein and heaps of raw veggies every few hours plus eating a lot of other stuff.
      I guess it also depends what your goals are - healing a disease or trying to build muscle/put on weight.

    How would you advice or give advice for an indigent individuals especially diet related for lupus were those fruits and veggies mentioned are not staple here in our area like spinach, celery and other cruciferous?

    • @myggggeneration
      @myggggeneration 8 місяців тому

      Dr Goldner has suggested cabbage (=cruciferous vegetable) as a good option if that's all you can find. Spinach and celery are not cruciferous. Search Google for what is :-) .

      Do the best you can with what you have, as many fresh veggies as possible and if Chia and flax aren’t available, try hemp or walnut. If those aren’t available just do the best you can!
