    I know Dr. Brook is not a big fan of water fasting for health in general, BUT it does work wonders for sagging skin! True North Health Center is a M.D. supervised facility that Dr. G is friendly with that you can contact about sagging skin.

    So wonderful to hear your wisdom and knowledge, Thomas! You and Brooke are so incredibly knowledgeable, it's a true pleasure to learn from you! I agree about the necessity of exercise-enough with enough intensity-to really effectively lose fat. At 58, I used to be able to just workout to lose weight, now it requires really clean diet PLUS the exercise. The two together is the winning formula.

    Thank you, Thomas, for your time and expertise. What a wonderful Wellness Wednesday! I want to clarify what we can count towards our daily water goal. Dr G said that we can count the water that goes into our smoothies, so what is the reason we can’t we count the water in an herbal tea? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

    Not sure why you wouldn't count mint tea towards water intake because it has no caffiene and is not a diuretic. If you'd said green or black tea I would agree but herbal teas that are caffeine free are basically water.

    Tofu is a neutral food so it does not hyper nourish but it will not cause inflammation. So use sparingly. It depends on how fast you want your results how much of it you eat.

    Mr. Tadlock: Is it true that drinking water has better absorption at a cellular level when it has a little sodium and glucose?
    I currently add a quarter teaspoon of Celtic sea salt to each gallon of reverse osmosis drinking water and then add just a bit of Gatorade (sucrose sweetened) into each glassful.

    • @maryharrington8983
      @maryharrington8983 10 місяців тому

      Sucrose in water has to be digested to free up the H2O. Not sure about sodium. Pure H2O is absorbed through the membranes in our mouths, but not if there's sucrose added.

    Hi, thank you both for the work you do. I've been following the protocol and having 3 to 4 large drinking cup smoothies per day. However, I'm concerned that drinking smoothies will cause problems with dental cavities due to consuming food so continually. I have weak teeth. Have either you or Brooke had any problems? Thank you❤❤😁

      Just swish with water after if you are not near your toothbrush. Also could add a fluoride mouth rinse after brushing at night to strengthen enamel. My other fluoride free alternative to strengthen enamel is ‘Tom’s of Maine rapid relief sensitivity toothpaste” uses an amino acid arginine that is argued to be better for tooth remineralization!

    The saggy skin comment - that wasn't my experience. I lost weight reasonably slowly, 90 pounds over a. year, and I don't have any sagging skin. I wouldn't recommend losing weight quickly, and what I've seen online is that people who've lost it slowly (and had less than 100 pounds to lose) had no sagging skin either. Also, if you have high nutrition, ie Dr Goldner's hyper nourishing, this will help enormously.

    Lots of studies show that exercise is not the primary driver for weight loss - it’s diet. Exercise is hugely important for health, but shouldn’t be viewed as the best way to lose weight. E.g. Biggest Loser.
