Another great job Ryan, can't wait to see the finished product. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on the everything here. The way you framed the steps was very sturdy and efficient. This old man wishes I had this knowledge as a young man. Lol.
@@phillipjacobs2758 True indeed, so we should add drama teacher as well. He started out with a foreshadowing for this porch story. Now he has us at the climax and giving us the cliffhanger.
@Ryan thanks for inspiring me, I recently started my own landscaping & Handyman business here in the UK and your work inspires me to keep pushing. Much respect sir and wishing you great success in the new year. God bless
Neat and tidy .it takes a lot of work to finish concrete. The formwork and the finishing is great .what did you put on the concrete blocks ? Happy new year to all out in Canada 🇨🇦 🏴
Women who think they don't "need a man" are full of poppicock. Yes-I COULD attempt this as a single woman, and THAT would be stupid- haha! My man died and I REALLY need a new porch. I was quoted $5k for demo and solid pour-but that was before inflation. I REALLY wish I could DIY. All I have is a drill! Haha! Awesome work, lad. Really lovely job.

Great work. Question, how do you know when to use mortar and when to use concrete? Is mortar for brick only or block as well?
Thank you.
Both
Amazing
Isn’t it too cold for a concrete project in that part of the world
They add chemicals to the concrete to make it cure in cold weather
