I just bought a backpack recently for work but now I am sorely wanting one of these! Of all the backpacks I've reviewed it definitely fits the look and profile I am looking for. The fact that water bottles in the side pockets don't protrude or impact the form of the bag is a huge plus. The aesthetic is just so clean and works for any work/urban/travel carry.
@@JonGadget Another great work bag is the Aer San Fransisco Day Pack 2 is another clean look bag, and it has a matching small tech kit called the Slim Pouch.
Hey Jon, not sure if you’re going to see this but I’ve been a viewer of your channel for some time now. Thanks for the great videos. Wanted to bring to light how this style of video - sitting down, talking to the camera, less fast-pace, was really enjoyable. Not sure if it would make your life easier on the editing but I would really like to see this style in the future? Maybe you could do a video in this style every couple of videos. I really enjoy it. Thanks and have a great day.
Excellent review and very good video quality. I can see clearly the color and the details of the bag. After many reviews, this one convinced me to buy the bag .
Thank you so much! I knew from this video that the tech kit would fit, but couldn’t find the video again. I even asked Bellroy if it will fit and and they said no. I just send them a link to your video. So weird that they gave the wrong amswer. Thanks Jon for your excellent review.
Thanks Alex, that was my first review and I hope my content has got better over time - good to know this was useful for you - the larger tech kit does fit - something I wanted to know too
I would absolutely recommend the GoRuck series. I have a 25lt one and it is the best bag I have ever owned with a lifetime guarantee and superb build quality. Its also low profile. Now my go to for work, takes laptop, tablet, chargers, EDC urban kit, spare phone, specs and shades, soft cell gilet, waterproof, hat, gloves, 2 work shirts, 2 underwear, 2 socks, wet kit, my Fujifilm XT1 with a 35mm lens. Simply brilliant.
I am considering getting this pack for an EDC! that water bottle holder though.. do the side pockets have any volume on their own or it's completely eating the inside of the pack? From the looks of your video, the bottle is not a 50/50 with the interior/side pocket but pretty much all inside the pack but it was also lying down on its side
I bought this bag based on your excellent review. Unfortunately I’m having a bit of an issue with the straps. I’ve set them to where I’d like them but they work their way loose very easily and quickly making the straps really long. Was wondering if you have the issue too and if you had any advice to stop it from happening? Many thanks!
Sorry to hear about your problem - I don't have this issue and use it to work 2-3 times a week - Bellroy I find are very good with customer support so would be worth dropping them a line I think. I do not carry much weight which might be relevant?
@@JonGadget I bought a venture safe X24 from pacsafe which has the same 2 internal bottle pockets but less organisation and no clamshell design but it s okay. And costs much less than this Bellroy but as for a 24L does not seem to hold much but its OK for EDC bag... Will probably get back to my older but still good looking TUMI backpack
Thanks for the feedback Andy. Good point, I will look to do this in the future. As you can see this is a first video so future ones I am sure will improve. Thanks again for the feedback.
That is my first video on the channel 😊 Yes the laptop is kept separate from the tech area although still accessible from the single opening- I am still using this pack for work 👍

Agree, really works for me for those reasons too 👍

Hi Richard, I think the GoRuck offers more space for those that need it. I will check them out though. Thanks for sharing.
Why tf do you carry that much for work?
I really appreciate you making these reviews, thank you.
Thanks Arthur, that's great to hear 🙏
Great review. Going to enjoy checking out the rest of your channel✌🏻
👍🙏
This was a very thorough, well thought out review. Thank you for doing this!
You're very welcome, thank you for the comment. This is my first video on a new channel so will hopefully improve with each review.
Thanks John, looking at some of your other vidéos, you definitely have a thing for Bellroy products :-)
I am a fan - good design, functionality, quality and price
Hi thanks for the video. I enjoy your content very well put together so watching you videos in order.

@@JoeGillian0 Tumi are definitely very well built
Great review. Might be good as well to show what else fits in the main pocket, for example how many packing cubes.

You mention putting a work folder in the elasticated inner pocket - are either of those pockets inside the main compartment large enough to take A4?
Fantastic video, thank you!
Nice perspective on this backpack. Are you able to remove the laptop without having to remove the tech pouch?

@@JonGadget Good to hear. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Colorado, USA
Great Video. Thanks. Do you still use this backback today?
Any possible solution to be used as a mock luggage pass through?
Does the handle support luggage pass through? I cannot find anything about that anywhere and I find this deal breaker.
Nice review. Thank you and regards from Spain. Stay safe
Thanks Javier 👍
Navy or black?? Cant decide
can't go wrong with black....
