Slipknot 1999: Setting fire to each other onstage & later receiving a group discount on skin graphs at the local ER
Slipknot 2022: Confiscating a toy piano belonging to one of their kids & taking it on tour
Slipknot had to have peaked at this point...How can they possibly step it up from there???
Slipknot having even began yet this is just the start of something kick ass and Awesome from the band and I can't wait to see what they do next but I respect what you are saying just go along for the ride with the maggots and Slipknot and let's see what's next 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@anthonyreid666 Forgive my sarcasm. I just couldn't help pointing out the contrast after 25 years. In no way am I suggesting that Slipknot is losing their edge. I'm as stoked as you are for this album. But think back to their first few years of touring & imagine Craig opening the night wielding a keytar or Chris sitting gracefully with his miniature piano paying homage to the works of Snoopy & Woodstock. Shawn would still be the clown we all aspire to be...Except maybe on roller skates. My point being is that their more subtle & artistic direction of today, when compared to the straightforward, "F** this world" mindset early on, would be laughably incompatible & perhaps unrecognizable to one another.
@@SunDedGon That's what happens when you become one of the biggest and most successful bands in metal history, I dont think they can be that angry anymore when they won the lottery life and went from broke kids with drug issues to millionaires with an established fanbase and respect 20+ years down the road
I mean they have two new members and they're young guys. Lot of energy and passion.
@Sam Mitchell Which two members are you referring to, specifically? If you're speaking of Alex & Jay, then I'd say eight years is far from new. Michael Pfaff is the latest addition to Slipknot, having settled in nicely these last two years.
