Day in My Office Life - Cody Harnish - Criminal Defense Attorney

Another day in the life of a criminal defense attorney. Today I'm advocating for my client who's been accused of sexual harassment and what do you know? According to the regulations and even the facts, he didn't commit it. But that didn't stop the army from giving him a Gomar and an administrative separation board. And what was interesting is in my legal review of the facts and their legal analysis, they don't even understand the difference between these two regulations, and they didn't apply the correct legal definitions and standards. So now I'm going to sit here for the next 10 to 12 hours, advocating and typing a legal memo for my client. Now, I realized a long time ago, I'm going to die at my desk. So I'm sitting here picking out one of these comfy numbers to make it easier on my wife to dispose of my body. That looks nice. If you're thinking of becoming an attorney, this is going to be 99.9% of 99.9% of your days sitting at a desk and advocating for your clients. If you get accused of a crime in the military, you should know and another attorney can do a legal analysis of the investigation and help you fight to save your career. This is what being an attorney looks like and another day in the life of defending America's defenders.
