EDIT: I think I got it, you were right. "Then" has nothing to do with Ocelot triggering the way it does, only the "if" matters, making it a different triggered ability. As Wilfred doesn't have any other indicator after then (“When/Whenever/At [trigger event], if [condition], [effect].”), it does not count as separate. --------------- Just a bit confused about the Wilfred Mott interaction. I played a Delney deck in Arena, and had a similar "Then" effect on the Ocelot Pride, and it didn't work as you said. In my case, the effect triggered in 2 steps: 1) The initial part (At the beginning of your end step, if you gained life this turn, create a 1/1 white Cat creature token) -> create 1 Cat token 2 times 2) The part after "Then" (Then if you have the city's blessing, for each token you control that entered the battlefield this turn, create a token that's a copy of it.) -> copy the 2 Cats 2 times, thus obtaining 6 Cats in total I would guess for Wilfred Mott, it would work like: 1) At the beginning of your upkeep, put a time counter on Wilfred Mott -> put a time counter 2 times 2) Then look at the top X cards of your library, where X is the number of time counters on Wilfred Mott. You may put a nonland permanent card with mana value 3 or less from among them onto the battlefield. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. -> look at top X, choose, put rest on bottom 2 times It's not that big of a deal but this way you would get the X to be larger for both times you pick, not just the second time
Recruiter of the guard is kinda pricey if you don't proxy like myself, but hes definitely an auto include for this commander. Karmic guide aswell, though i think this would force you to pay double echo next upkeep. Still, that's any 2 creatures from graveyard and can blink it on upkeep trigger to keep it another turn and get another 2 reanimates if needed. This is gonna be a fun commander for casual games for sure.
Oh definitely good includes for sure. Yeah my builds are mostly for casual tables, that’s what I find most fun and what all my friends play for the most part :)
Mostly tokens, I threw in a sub theme for infect since our team is a little harder to block. Similar to pillowfort, we’re kind of just waiting for our opponents to kill each other and out value them lol. Definitely have to play decks like these a specific way
You do or don’t want your opponents to have trouble? I think this is a moderately easy deck to pilot but I don’t think it’s the best “first magic deck”. Flicker effects are a little confusing to wrap your head around sometimes cause there’s so many different variations on it. If you wanna do tons of tokens I might recommend Cadira, caller of the small. It has green and white and you get tons of rabbits for having tokens in play.
Esper Sentinel might go crazy with this.
Definitely, if you have one throw it in. I usually play on budget so little too pricey for my lists lol

That makes sense. The rules can be very confusing sometimes 😂

Crazy fast deck tech. Was starting to build this guy today, thanks for the suggestions.
Definitely think he’ll be a top 10 mono white commander
You got it! Yeah I agree he’s gonna be popular
Stonehorn Dignatary :P frick those combat steps lol make sure no one attacks but you
Oh man that’s a little staxxy 😂😂 good pick tho
I love this, I really do, but what’s the wincon? Besides value lol

@@levisdeckbox could always throw in a Moonshaker Calvery as well :P white Craterhoof
You're right, deep gnome terramancer will not get you a second land
Yeah that’s a bummer, still a nuts card 😂
im a new player and i want my local group to have an aneurysm when counting my tokens, is this deck good for begginers?

This seems really cool
Thanks I think so too
Pretty sick deck tech
Thanks! Appreciate it
Levi, my man! This deck tech dropped so quick though! 👀
Hahaha trying to please the algorithm gods, already working on other videos as well 😂
@@levisdeckbox You’re a deck tech fiend big guy! This set is gonna keep you real busy haha
That’s for sure, just stoked to see some new cards as always haha
there is kinda an infinite combo with the felidar guardian and the charming prince
it is infinite etb
Whoops lol I’d probably just take out felidar then
Its not. Charming prince returns the card at the beginning of the end step. So it wont go infinite.
Too bad it has that horrible Courier font. I can't stand it.
Well they have the standard version too, don’t have to use the showcase one :)
