Even more heartbreaking when they announced his daughter was with him. I shedd a tear for Kobe when they announced he passed, but I lost it when they said his daughter passed with him. They where becoming a staple this season in the front row of the games. I was imaging her taking over the wnba in memory of her father, then they said she was with him. Kobe spent 7 years, when he was a child, here in Italy with his father playing in our league. 2 of those years he lived in my town, in Tuscany and we still remeber him, taking shots during the halftime.....showing off his early talent.

This felt like a glitch in the universe. Like it did not feel like an event that could have taken place
I remember the day it happened. I was at my job at the AMC Theater in my town (I was a greeter) and this woman comes out of an auditorium crying her eyeballs out. I ask, "Leia's death too much?" (she was seeing the Rise of Skywalker) in a calm but kinda joking tone. She shakes her head and says, "No, Kobe Bryant just died." My heart stopped, I get on my mic and radio the bartender Gabe (Our AMC has a bar, most AMC's do) and I tell him, "Gabe, Turn on ESPN right now." Gabe responds, "What do you mean?" I respond back, "Turn on ESPN Right now Damnit!" He turns on ESPN and I rush up to the bar. My manager, Stephine, storms out of the office and is like, "Alex! We don't-" she sees the headline and stops. Now Stephine was like 5'4 or 5'5 but tough as a bear, she breaks down crying and I hug her. That entire day, the bar was full of people watching the news. Young, Old, White, Black, It didn't matter it had that much of an impact

Sure, people die in crashes.
And hoaxes happen. Rituals/sacrifices happen. Psychological warfare is carried out. And celebrities die in absurd circumstances where the date is coded with gematria, and all the stars and planets line up, and there is endless predictive programming “predicting” the event. Tajon Williams positive energy? No, only Jesus can heal the pain of those left behind.
I still can’t believe this man is gone, I mean I just can’t!
I grew up in China and I remember when I was in secondary/high school, pretty much every boy around me who played basketball either became a fan of LeBron or Kobe. To me it was Kobe. This man taught me perseverance, grit, the mamba mentality and all that entails.. He made me believe that you can achieve something if you put in those hours and work your way towards it.
He was my GOAT and will always be.
Gosh bring this man back!!!!!!
Iconic figure, I’ll never forget the times in elementary where everyone was lit to have a Kobe Jersey, you were part of my child hood Kobe, and a true inspiration
amen. I also remember when he was endorsement for Adidas. I wanted his shoes.
I’m 31 and I remember writing a biography report on him in the 5th grade. He’s been an inspiration to many and it’s a shame he’s gone. He will be missed.
Im 30 amd yup this was our childhood
yep we 30 yr olds remember him well
This is an NBA fans "Where were you when you found out Kennedy was shot" moment.

I was literally outside playing basketball with my cousin when I heard the news. This can't be real
I was eating breakfast. I'm Filipino.
F in the chat. May you rest in peace, and for now, KOBE🏀
I was watching the pro bowl on CBS and I heard someone died I turned up the audio and dam! Found out it was kobe!😓
I was getting a haircut and I was in disbelief
@@callmesoftware8633 I just woke up and that's the first thing I hear on tv
This is heartbreaking, 2020 really hasn’t started too well 😥❤️ Rest In Peace to everybody who we’ve lost so far this year and prayers that these tragedies end.
When my Wife mentioned that TMZ reported Kobe perished in a helicopter crash, we both thought it was simply fake news on FB. Once it became real, my heart ached and I found myself crying like I had just lost a relative or close friend. This is so unreal; it only happens a few times in Life when a celebrity passes and it feels like you knew them and your heart can't differentiate your knowledge and experience of them was from television (or movies or whatever). This man meant more to Sports and Basketball in particular than what we realized, but in the days, weeks, months and years ahead, his Global impact will be recognized like never before. He was a Living Legend and now is an actual LEGEND!!! Still can't believe the Black Mamba is gone, but more importantly, the Husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Friend and Coach is gone forever. The person that Kobe was finally able to become and showcase was taken away from his loved ones and his adoring fans in an instant; and that is Life; no matter how unfair it seems, it's Life! R.I.H. Kobe Bean Bryant, you will be missed terribly!!! **LOVE**
Let’s NOT forget the others who perished and their loved ones and remember EVERYONE and their loved ones in prayer amen 🙏🏾
SeeMyBlessings Hallelujah of course we feel bad for them but the fact remains kobe touched millions of lives. It’s only natural we give him more respect and that it hits us harder.
MD J Still though, very disrespectful being only sad for Kobe when others died innocently.
that's right
Maddox Mack ok so when someone you care about dies I’ll be sure to show up to their funeral when your there and say it’s disrespectful for you to only go to their funeral and cry for them when probably about a hundred other people also died that day. And I guarantee those people’s families are mourning their deaths more than Kobe’s death.
Kinda hard to forget someone we know nothing of or who they even are. It's sad period but kobe left a mark and impact on so many people lives. Some of us watched this man grow up
