His youngest daughter was named after him.. Koko wont be seeing her father as she grows up, but watching these kind of interviews, she will meet her father and know him more.

At the very least, we Los Angeles citizens know that he knew we loved him. What so often happens with death is that people feel guilty that someone wasn't appreciated while they were alive. Kobe is a hero in LA and he had to have known that because we were loud, stupid and obnoxious about it.

      Same here.
Watched MJ and Kobe a lot.
Even when they were battling each other, I did not feel any animosity towards Kobe for trying to beat/emulate MJ.
When younger guys was trying to go at Kobe... I find them lacking in a certain mindset. You can just see with their body mannerisms and facial expressions.
Conclusion that MJ and Kobe are peas in a pod.

I was never a big sports fan, but after that episode I saw him on TV like in the news or somewhere, and whenever he appeared on the screen, I got happy. I don't know why, but this man had a talent of making people smile by just existing, just showing up. Just by seeing him. When the news broke of his passing, I hoped so much that it was untrue. I was in shock to find out that it was true and it didn't only take him, but other innocent people, including his daughter. I still smile when I see him. He was such a great guy. He is missed. imagine having a dad that's a legend but not getting the chance to get to know him. i feel so sad for his daughters, specially for the youngest one.
edit: idk why some of the responses make something negative out of my comment. this is my opinion and what i feel.
    1. i am sad for the other people and families affected by this as well. they weren't mentioned in my comment bc i just wrote what was on my mind at the time to get it off my chest.
    2. idk their names, nor do i know them. should i research first before commenting my OWN thoughts? but despite of that, it doesn't mean that i'm not sad for the ppl that are affected by the accident as well.
    3. i feel saddest for the youngest bc she's gonna grow up without a dad. imagine having the whole world knowing your dad but not you.
    4. can we just not make something negative out of nothing. stop nitpicking and being so butthurt. just grieve in peace away from other people's opinion if your going to criticize for literally no gain.
