I'm installing a ham radio this week just wanted to let you know out of all the videos out there this one by far was the best for me to see on my exact vehicle how the wiring goes through the firewall and where it ends up. Thank you.
I have one those self-contained subs with the amp already built-in to the box (Rockford Fosgate P300). I just wanted a little extra bass without all the installation hassle. I think the whole cargo floor comes out pretty easily though -- I wonder if you could squeeze an amp under there.
T G where did you do the ground wire? I can’t find anywhere that’s good. I had my sub temporarily set up with the ground on a bolt that went through the bumper and into the body, but that is on the outside of the car.
@@knives4reason725 Under the trim beside the right rear passenger seat. I drilled a small hole into the metal where the trim clips onto the frame. Here are some pics: photos.app.goo.gl/mBegdb2u8U8HGgQR7
Thanks bro, I been looking everywhere for a spot.
You're welcome!

@@happy_trails literally just used this video on my 2009 GC. Lol
What did you take off in order to see
There's a little trap door that opens under the dash. Here's a pic: photos.app.goo.gl/UBxbkHemooLCoZ7H8
Good video. Where did you mount your amps? I was trying to find a nice location other than the back seat or the sub box.
