She's divine in that black velvet, and Vilja is at around 37", and it is the most dreamy I've ever heard it!! I also just love when Sills gets out there with the dancers!

My local PBS Station: KPBS in San Diego was involved of This Complete Broadcast of "The Merry Widow" starring Beverly Sills with the San Diego Opera because it was taped Live from The San Diego Civic Theatre but is was produced by KCET 28 from Los Angeles, California, But "The Merry Widow" first ever aired during the "A Different Picture on Public TV for The Holidays" Membership Drive (Sat.November 26th through Tuesday December 6th, 1977) for many PBS stations, even My local PBS Station: KPBS in San Diego!! It did brought the most membership pledges for that program when it aired 3 times throughout the campaign!!
