This video was original filmed as a 3 part adventure in 2021 and has been remastered into this single full length movie. I plan on doing longer format videos in 2023 and would love to hear your thoughts on longer videos like this one. Thanks for watching, Brad
I love longer videos, and remastering previous episodes makes the channel and individual adventures easier to watch as we don't have to search through everything else. I'd recommend adding video chapters for each day, that way if you click off part way through a long video it's easier to pick up where you left off (UA-cam sometimes restarts a video you were part way through) Hope that is helpful
I remember watching these videos, it works well as one full length movie. Please remake more of these, it feels like watching it for the first time. I really enjoyed this. Thanks Brad.
Brad the second mine you visited is chalk full of history. That stone structure was the general store. The mine was a copper mine, that I believe was called Copper bottom and was the first mine in the United States to use Pneumatic tools. A miner who lived in look out city once raped an Timbisha Shoshone woman. The men of the tribe sought for the miner and the town helped him escape down to the bottom of the mine. The result was several miners lost their lives in the retaliation and a group of soldiers from fort Tejon were called to live in Panamint for a short time to keep the peace. There are also some well known gunfights that happened in look out city. Pretty rugged place. (By the way Brad heard a great thought you would appreciate. "Save one life and your a Hero, save many lives and your just a medic" thank you again for your service)
As a kid we camped out there. One night we went to sleep with a full camp. That night the wind came in and took out our tent and we jumped into our 1972 VW camper, safe and sound. In the morning there was a mostly empty camp ground. The next day was great. I wish I had more of those memories.
Absolutely brilliant movie. This was really special, love seeing the Patriots doing the rugged stuff, they just go anywhere there tow rig can take them, brilliant.❤😊
I knew Death Valley in the 70's. Drive to Panamint mine and Manson's bus was still at the ranch. Defense mine and many more were great in the 70's. You do a great job with the videos.
great video, been there many times, everywhere you enjoyed, that tie rod joint failure dosent seem right, upgrade the upgrade, epic times with great friends, as good as it gets.
Couldn't help but notice you were wearing a USN hat. I am a Vietnam Vet and served aboard the USS Bausell DD-845. Love your video's and adventures, keep up the great videos.
Watch out for those burros... We had fixings for breakfast burritos and other cold foods in an ice chest. Sausage, eggs, cheese, salsa, and cold foods. We thought it would be safe...... that night they came into camp, opened up the chest and ate everything in that ice chest. Needless to say, we only had granola bars to eat that morning. Great area to explore!!
I should have read the whole title. The entire time it felt familiar. Half way in it finally hit me that I had seen this. That flyover (Airpower!) gave it away 😂
Oh sweet perfect timing couldn’t remember this video going to be heading out finally 3 days alone maybe 4 lol I so need it, always great stuff, as always be safe
Love the longer format! Especially the longer 2 - 3 - 4 day trips. Cause usually we can find part1 or part 3 but never all the parts at the same time!!
It's funny how much parts of Death Valley looks like the Pony Express trail through the Tooele Utah desert going into Navada. I love watching your adventures.
Brad buddy I really enjoy your journeys. This is a dream that I’m making happen to do what you do at this moment. So far I’m enjoying your dreams come true .
Great video. I love DV. Had my bike down Lippencott and over Hunter mountain where we got buzzed by fighter jets. You are correct the race track is a must. Thanks for sharing
These Canyons are Full of Ghosts is a great book written by one of the last small miners in Death Valley. Complete with his encounter with the Barker Ranch temporary inhabitants in 1969.
I often wonder when I watch these adventures, does anyone or all carry protection? I don't think I would feel comfortable without. Love watching these adventures. Maybe someday I'll jump in it too.
You must carry a weapon. Problem is, since DV became a national park in 1993 no firearms are allowed. Just pack your heat and keep your mouth shut. Better safe than sorry. Crime is EVERYEHERE today in 2022. Worry about consequences later. Being armed can save your life
@@stripervince1 if you have a valid concealed weapon permit you can carry in all parks in the US what you can't do is go into some of the facilities they have like stores. But I agree with you, Carrie keep your mouth closed and keep yourself safe I wouldn't leave home without it ever
I have been to Death Valley but had no idea these mines existed. Excellent video. I know my vehicle could not do this trip so I appreciate that you could take me there. Marco is an amazing chef
I lived in Battle Mountain and worked mapping the valleys and mountains all over central NV where I would get buzzed by the fighters on an almost daily basis!!! So bad ass to know those guys would see me and buzz me like they did. And that was 20 years ago!
So, im guessing, based on clues in the video, that you visited during the coof restrictions of 2020? Because the hot springs were closed and the castle was still owned by Randy. The Castle is now a B&B and the owner also owns the Angles Ladies Brothel in Beatty NV, now a B&B as well. I sure miss DVNP. I hope to take my son this spring. Titus Canyon is, IMO, highly under rated. The wow factor is off the scale
I really dig seeing the videos longer, I play them on the TV in the garage while I build stuff 🤘 Oh yeah, the Sailing Stones👍Water condensation forms a sheet of ice, as it thaws and melts it literally pushes the rocks, and leaves no trace of being there 😁👍
I do like longer videos. But if had to choose I’d take shorter videos (your usual length) at a good cadence then have to wait a couple months for longer videos. A mixture of both would be great. I always look forward to seeing what you release because I get some remote dirt therapy by watching them. Helps to tide me over between my own adventures. Thanks for sharing your experience. I look forward to what ever you bring forward.
I am good watching the long format! Great trip! My wife and I spent 4 days this year in Death Valley in May... temps at night were in the 70's and the day got up to high 90's. It was a great place to see all sorts of cool things! I told her if we ever come back...I would want to do the north area for a few days! We are from Montana... so it won't be soon that we make it back down there...the worst thing about it was the fuel costs! But Panamint Springs was like 3 dollars a gallon less... so that is a great place to fuel up! Great video!
Hi Brad, Your shots and editing are great; just like a short movie. I am saving up for a rig. Looking at a 1990's Cherokee. Will see. Love to get out with you all to learn more about off-roading and learn from Marco. I love to cook myself. Thanks again for awesome adventures.
Wow, you guys covered a lot of ground. Just got back yesterday from death valley and saw some of the same places. Going back again soon hopefully to check out some of the areas that I missed. It was cold at night. Our last night there at the race track was 17dgrs at 7am. Brrrrr!!!! Thanks for sharing your video. Maybe see you at overland expo Flagstaff next year.
Just started watching a couple of your videos. Was just in Death Valley last wkd to witness the new "lake" at Badwater Basin (thanks to Hurricane Hilary's tropical rainstorm back on August). Anyway, love the waynyou format your adventure videos--the narration, the segments, the editing, but my favorite part is your gratitude toward your friends for cooking these amazing meals and the camaraderie between all of you especially in helping each other from cooking to the jeep repairs, etc. Great job.
I love seeing the more technical wheeling with the trailers. All these cool off-road trailers coming out but you rarely see them getting after it like they are supposedly built to do.
What a great video, adventures like these make you wanna be a Jeeper. Amazing kids haven't destroyed that cabin, I thought things like that only existed in movies!
I climb cell towers here in WV and any time we climb over around Marlinton, WV, the jets fly over and buzz the tower. I was recently on a tower and had 3 C130’s flying the map just outside of Hinton, WV. Epic stuff!
Looks like an awesome trip, but going forward can you attach a "disclaimer" that Marko is cooking on it? I had to pause it to goto the grocery store to make carne asada tacos.... I wasn't even hungry haha. Keep up the great work!!
we just did the same rout on the same week as you guys but from the opposite direction . and on friday after sunset you guys drove by us leaving the warm springs . keep up the great videos that inspires so many
Fantastic video...your chef rocks. I miss DV. I worked at furnace creek ranch one year in 1994. Love the place. Haven't been there since 1997. Time to take a road trip. I'm in Tennessee now

I've been very happy and surprised where I have been able to take this trailer offroad.
I also have an X1N, it’s is my 2 nd Patriot and I am very impressed by their ruggedness and practical design. I am based in Western Australia.

I’m loving Marco’s prep station, and gave me major ideas for our camper, and cooking on our adventures! Thanks! Great video, thanks for sharing! 🙂
Awesome you guys and girl...thanks for keeping the dream alive...!
Good thing you mentioned it was previously aired, I was thinking “have I seen this before or am I losing my mind?”
1st time in the valley 1973.. last time 2021.. California exploring FOR EVER!
Great video. I wish I would have a trip like that.
Such an awesome video.. Thanks for sharing the adventure.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Love this longer video format! Especially with the video sections listed. Easy to pause and get right back in!
Thank you! Working on more long format and will be sure to include chapters.

Short videos for gear intros and reviews are good. But the long form adventure videos are excellent!

We actually stayed in Panamint Springs on a MC ride before we headed across Death Valley about 15 years ago.
