@ 2:30, Jon Bowman's Camaro is as pure an old school Modified Production car as you will find. Less than 300 cubic inches and backed by a 5-Speed Liberty. The RPM drops are crazy looong!! Love it!
Thank you for posting this and especially for the footage of Outlaw Mouse! Roscoe would be so proud! We raced since the late 1970's since Randy was a baby! He eased the Mouse at the line because (he had a passenger) and the Mouse wanted to dry hop all the way, and it was ready to race! thanks again!

seems like a few of these cars might be running a lenco not quite a run of the mill stick shift .
Some racers only use a clutch for 1st gear now days. You don't have use a Lenco any more.
This is all stick shift no lencos

Did that driver of the blue Nova ever drive a stick beford? Second, is there anything to race besides a stick? Good video...thanks.
The Blue Nova was driven as a Tribute to his Dad, and the race is was the largest stick shift race in the country.
This video was RUINED IMO cuz too little time focusing on the burnout and staging ! I don't wanna see just the pass !!! For FUCKS SAKE.
