I hardly buy any highly processed foods anymore. Eating wholefoods is transformative. Thank you for this video. Thank you for the shoutouts during yesterday’s Live. There were so many new AENPeeps! Spring is finally here! Let’s gooooooo 🙌❤️🇨🇦
Presoak a pound of beans and cook overnight in a crock pot. They freeze wonderfully.
Wow I didn't know you could freeze them!
🌞Thanks Autumn! ⚘️
You are an inspiration!
Happy last day of Winter!
Cheers! ☕️🕊♥️✨️
Very informative video. Great tips! Thank you so much.😊
Order all my spices from Penzey’s. Fresh. No anti-clumping ingredients, important for celiacs. Best Turkish bay leaves ever. Many forms of Ceylon cinnamon. Sign up for newsletter to keep apprised of sales and recipes. Exception: friend in Poland sends me sweet Hungarian Paprika! 10:21
New subscriber here! I’m 17 weeks pregnant and since watching your videos I feel sooooo prepared for that postpartum journey!❤
I def start making my own beans. The cost for organic can has gone up tremendously
Humm, plant person here pour that bean water on some plants outside.❤️
Good point about the canned beans. Thank you 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
I really try to avoid chain coffee shops, and I don't really enjoy their coffee. I love the small cafes for an occasional treat, and I love to make coffee at home.
Me too, nothing beats homemade latte made with good quality ingredients
I just found you. Any info on how to make and what to add for protein coffee , hot or cold brew at home?
Highly informative! Thank you.
I use my pressure cooker for my dry beans, total time between 3-5 minutes!❤
Nice new video!❤
I always soak my beans first thing in the morning, like 2 lbs probably, and at night I drain and rinse them, and put them in my crock pot with twice the amount of water without any seasoning, in the morning when their done, I let them cool and freeze them in serving sizes...and then I season them when I need them!!! Hope it helps!!!
While I’m trying to cut down on ultra-processed foods, I’m still allowing for a little bit, such as with commercial salad dressings (I don’t have salad every day). I do need to look for some homemade salad dressing recipes. I do have a couple Primal Kitchen dressings that I’ve tried, however I’m not big on the taste for either.
I also buy canned beans to save time and don’t have those every day either.
I think the key with anything is to have it in moderation.
Saludo boss kgx! 🫡
LMNT has maltodextrin in it :(
I am not sure about the beans though. Canned beans are, I think, soaked and commercially pressure cooked which remove the lectins and phytates.
I buy canned to save time.
Thanks, Autumn, for your video. I have a question though, not related to this. What do you have to say about coffee? I have heard lots of nutritionist say tonelwimante coffie
*coffee. Should it be totally out of the diet?
Would using an Instant Pot affect the dried beans because they wouldn't long soak? I can prep Lentils in between 6-8 minutes and chickpeas in 45 minutes, for example, and never have to soak them.
I heard that cooking beans in a pressure cooker gets rid of the carbohydrate component that gives you gas. Not sure if it’s true
I really need to start making my own salad dressing. I am constantly throwing away mustard because I don't use it that often and it just goes bad.
Whole Foods organic unsweetened coconut milk is really good with nitro brew coffee. How do you make homemade coconut milk?

The Whole Foods organic salad kits still make me feel like garbage. I’m going to start putting my own salads together.
Canned beans can be 50-50, frankly speaking, the only thing that keeps me away is the sodium content. I don't appreciate pre-made salad dressings, at least the ones where I live aren't of decent quality. The only salad kit I'd buy is rocket since I opt for fresh over frozen vegetables, currently I consume lettuce a lot; at least where I live fresh is most times cheaper than frozen. Being a fan of spices, I'd also rather have individual ones than a mix. I am not certain which is healthier when it comes to alternative types of milk, I haven't tried coconut milk yet; lately I stick to unsweetened almond milk. I drink filter coffee and the one I buy is already ground and the food label doesn't mention anything bad, so why not? Cheers.
Where can I find the LMNT water bottle?! LOL
Hey Autumn! What kind of water system do you have?
Hi! it’s a reverse osmosis + re-mineralization under the sink system.
@@AutumnBates thank you!!!

Autumntastic Tips!
Autumn, your video cracked me up! 😂 Who knew beans could be such troublemakers with all that lecane and phytic acid lurking around, causing chaos in our bodies? And don't even get me started on those sad, wilted salad kits at the grocery store. They always look like they've seen better days, poor things. 🥺
But seriously, your insights are golden! Learning to make my own beans from scratch has been a game-changer. Not only do they taste better, but no more unexpected bathroom runs after dinner, yay! And your Sunday Salad Dressing? *chef's kiss* 🥗👌 It's become a staple in my kitchen!
And protein waffles? Girl, you had me at "zero sugar chocolate chips." 🍫 I'm ditching those store-bought ones that barely have any protein and making a stash of my own. Plus, your spice blend tips are genius! Who needs those pricey pre-made blends when you can be your own spice mixologist?
Thanks for keeping it real and hilarious, Autumn! Can't wait to see what other kitchen adventures you take us on next. 🤗💪 Keep slaying those wellness goals, and remember, friends don't let friends drink mediocre coffee! ☕✨
Almonds are soaked before they’re made into milk?
Yes and remove skins. They come off easily after soaking. Some people don’t remove the skin. I do sometimes but when I’m in a hurry I just blend with skin
What about beans in a carton in water?
The only thing i buy that i probably should not is Adkins brownies and canned beets I'm addicted to beets
Making me jelly again lol
Buying for one is a royal pain.
Throw out so much salad and veg items cos where I live I’m afraid it’s all packaged. Buying for 1 means buying a huge amount I’ll never use. ☹️
I seriously need a small veggie patch. If people actually knew their neighbours these days, it would be great to go back to what my parents did when I was a kid.
If you had too many carrots etc, you’d swap them with your neighbour for like nectarines or something they grow like rhubarb that you don’t grow.
What espresso machine/french press do you have?
Breville for my espresso and bodum for the French press ☕️
@@AutumnBates thank you! I’ve been eyeing the Breville! it’s so nice ❤️

Best store bought salad dressing is Dress Up, much better than primal
That 80's "VALLEY GIRL" rising tone that makes every sentence sound like a question is ANNOYING!
