Like a Villain and The Grey are the last two singles they released before the album came out, which came out a few days ago
Everyone says he sounds like the Weeknd and yes he sounds exactly the same live. You will enjoy them live
Believe it or not, he actually sounds better live. The sound engineer must be screwing with his voice in the music videos cause live his voice sounds so pure it's insane.
I wonder if it's the SE making his voice fit better for a produced sound, on the record.
@@jasonmiller6181 i'm not sure, all i know is there are very few artists, literally like only 3, that i geniunely prefer their live vocals and he is at the top of that list. He can get so low with the gutturals and then get right up into the high range in the next song during the same performance and his voice is incredible no matter where he goes, his vocal range us actually insane.

@@michellematthews8312 he definitely has the potential to go down as one of the greats, he just needs some guidance when it comes to writing the lyrics to his songs. A problem i have found in pretty much every single song they make is noah will sing the first verse and chorus, and then literally just use the same words for the second and third verse and chorus so he just ends up repeating hinself to an annoying degree in every song, the first part of the song is always great and the lyrics are well written, the problem lies in that he just repeats the lyrics from the first part of the song for the entire duration with little to no variation so it really feels like once you've heard the first minute to minute and a half of the song, you don't really need to hear the rest of the song because it's just gonna be a repeat of that first minute or so. But his raw vocal abilities already place him a cut above the rest, so if he could find a good mentor to help him sort out the lyrics issue, he absolutely could go down on the list with some of the goats.

I just saw them on Wednesday, by far my favorite live performance I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a great deal.

Totally feel what you said about passively liking/listening to them. I heard a couple of their tracks back in 2019 and forgot they existed until this song came out. I’ve been absolutely obsessed ever since.
I saw them live and they were stellar. Highly recommended!
