Hi, Rudy these new videos for us beginners are a life saver, please keep them coming! I do have one question regarding table orientation. When I first open up table in 10.8 it is displayed landscaped instead of portrait, any idea how to fix that?
Thank you for your excellent videos. I built my machine last year and had been working well until recently. Games dont exit completely especially pup-pack games. MJs guide mentioned button setting but I haven't adjusted any buttons since the build. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
This is my go-to table for trying to get optimal settings, since it is one of the most demanding. What GPU do you have and what kind of frame rate are you getting for this table?
3070ti and I have the monitor at 165hz so that's what I get with frame pacing. You don't want uncapped fps just do frame pacing and hope it matches your monitor refresh rate
@@rudysarcade I'm trying to run every table in 10.8 OpenGL and Anaglyph. I have a 6600 XT, so certainly underpowered compared to the 3070ti. Most older tables I am able to get 150-165 fps (I also have 165Hz monitor). Using VPX DX I can get this table at 160fps, if I have no 3d settings. But once I enable 3D in OpenGL or in DX through Reshade, it drops down to 80fps and stutters :( Seems pretty common with the new VPW tables. They are just more demanding. I may delve into VR, but I am expecting a similar result. Curious to see how well Anaglyph runs on a 3070ti with this table. Frame Pacing is pretty awesome.
I've probably missed this somewhere too but at the bottom of my settings after pressing F6 and clicking Enter on Window mode, in red writing I am getting a message saying 'you are using window mode but haven't defined your desktop physical size' and then goes on to say 'This will break the overall scale'. Any ideas?
Yes as you can see it's in my video also cause they want you to put in all the numbers and it will auto scale. I can do a separate video on it but then it changes all your tables and I just don't like the look. I like to adjust my own.
I see it now, I did not notice it at first, I thought it was some major thing that I might of missed somewhere. I'll just follow your great video for the sizing guide. Thanks again!@@rudysarcade

I say it in the video. Just make sure your in window mode and press the enter key or whatever your plunger button is.

Update everything. They had a few issues awhile back with a few programs but have been fixed.
Far easier POV setup than 10.7
the vetrical movekment is slow because you didnt input cab settings into vpx
im uploading a video on it now but dont like it becase it messes up all tables saved in window mode.
I always thought you could set up the POV for 1 table and all the rest would be done lol, how silly I was..
Well in the new 10.8 pov you technically can but it does not always produce the best results. I have a video on setting it up.

How can i save the pov options that i made ? When i quit the game, save it, make a pov and restart the game it will look like before 🤷🏽♂️

Any idea why on my 2k settings I have to scale POV to 400% for it to roughly fit? On the calibration table 100% is tiny and doesn't fill the screen.
You have 200% overscale on.. my recording setup I do videos on is 2k also

Need to update vpinmame. Make sure no serum files in the vpinmame folder.
