Weirdly VPinMAME wouldn't update like this for me, I had to uninstall it first then reinstall it... copying the files (and even trying install after) just didn't work.

I'm assuming you can't give out discord links on UA-cam. Are you uploading your .difs to VP Universe? How do you create the larger sidewalls? I'd like to do that on most of my tables.

its not clear what this program does ? If I mod a table I have two diff copies. What does this do ? Compare original and changed table and stores the difference the "dif" file and then you can use that with the original ?

Thank you so much for making this video! I just followed your instructions and it worked perfectly! At first I didn't rename the EXE file (64 bit) to just "vpinballx,exe" like I was using, so I got DLL errors, but after I renamed it the errors went away. Loving the new Window point of view!

Hi Rudy, I installed a Dude board in my older setup and it worked fine, but I wanted to do a refresh, and I formatted the drive and installed a fresh copy of Win 11 and Baller installer 2311 from Nov 30, 2023 and everything went well except for one issue that I got an error on FlexDMD that I diagnosed it to be an error where FlexDMD did not register and that was corrected. My main question is that the new Dude board that I put in on the older setup (it worked fine on that) but does not work on the new setup. I tested the Dude board within the Dude configurator and it sees all the buttons and solenoids and all tests out well. then I checked the joy.cpl which is configured for the Dude Board and all the keys work in Windows 11. Any suggestions on what to check next ? The only other item that I can note is that in the older setup the Dude board was configured for Com Port 3 and in the new setup it set itself up as Com 4. Should I remove Baller and try it with a different version of Baller ? Thanks for any suggestions in advance. Cliff

Hi I have had a visual pinball ball machine existing for a very long time, downloaded software well before baller installer and could not update so I started over and I'm following your instructions but I have a pindmd3 and I can't get it to come up, and you don't go into any detail about it, am I missing something I did pick the right setup 2 monitors with real dad but it will not come up and the last ti.e I had it up and running. Just asking if you know what I am doing wrong. Thanks...

Didn't work for me 2 hours of following along. Probably because I was setting up for single monitor and the detailed steps did not translate 1:1. Thank you though, maybe I'll try again someday.

Rudy, as always, this video was super helpful. I've been using all your videos to learn how to setup my stuff properly. Just curious, I noticed my playfields are recording too dark and was just wondering if there is a way to brighten them up. I am on an AMD radeon which may be part of my problem. I noticed that this started a few weeks ago after I installed AMD Adrenelin (so may be the issue in there). Anyway, more than anything just wanted you to know my appreciation of this video. (BTW; your video on the Gottlieb tables/roms was a blessing).

I followed this video step-by-step, but Popper ignores the Alternate Launcher field and tries to load the VPX8 table in VPX7. From what I've read, the new emulator needs to be set up in Popper and given a START script --- but I can't get it to work.

hi, is there a possibility to set global default settings for all tables in vpx 10.8. I have over 1000 tables, it will take a lot of time to edit them one by one. 😊

Thanks Rudy. This helped a lot. The move to 10.74 to 10.8 RC4 has really screwed me up in configuring these tables. I honestly dont know why Visual Pinball changed these settings as I dont see anything positive about them but just a way of screwing us up in configuring our tables🤔

Hi there thanks for the tutorial. Everything work right except for one problem that I have. When you made this video you made it for people who have three screens. I just have one screen and as of right now because both the Playfield, the DMV, and the back glass is set up to be full screen. Now because of this whenever I start a game the play screen does complete full screen but it also covers the DMV and the back glass so what I'm basically asking is can you help me with this problem and show me a way to config this for one screen or just give me instructions on to do this. Thank you.

Thanx Rudy for your video tutorials. I finally have dmdext running on my future pinball tables using Pinballx frontend. My problem now is Idon`t seem to be able to customise styles and save. When I run a Future Pinball table through Pinballx the default style shows. Is it possible to solve this problem?
