This was the year where the Browns sucked for so long and finally had a winning record only to not get in the playoffs and Derek Anderson had a pro bowl year.
This Browns team would’ve finished 14-2 if it wasn’t for the following things: Phil Dawson’s GW FG vs the Raiders getting blocked The Browns blowing a 21-6 lead at Pittsburgh Winslow’s catch at the end counting as a TD (The force out rule was still a thing) and Derek Anderson throwing 4 INTs vs Cincinnati in Week 16. This year showed what Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow could’ve been but we all know what happened with the both of them.
There was a lot of talent on this team!! We were stacked! Anderson reminded me of Baker a little. Could light it up one week or a few in a row and then play awful out of nowhere
These Browns had so many crazy games. The last second double doink field goal against the ravens that bounced back, the epic back and forth game against the steelers, and this one. Also so many crazy plays throughout the season. Jamal Lewis' run against the jets, Braylon edwards and Joe jurivicious' crazy catches. Such a great year for football!
No they weren't they were horrible...they played the weak NFC West schedule and their AFC scheduler was weak in 2007...people thought they were going to be good in 08 but we saw the teuth.....
That Kellen Winslow no call at the in was probably revenge for the missed called that allowed Braylon Edwards to scored that 67 yarder. Either way that was a good game. 🤷🏾♂️
That blown call at the end kept us out of the playoffs. 2007 was the final year where the force out rule was in effect. It was most certainly a force out and should have been called a TD.
IIRC this play at the end was one of the reasons they changes the rule about pushing a player out of bounds. Used to be if a guy was pushed out it could've been overturned.
This Browns quarterback is better then Johnny Manziel. For your information Dan, Jamal Lewis was not whacked. If he was wacked they would be finding pieces of him in a lake.
