@Sports Shorts He's one of my favorite players in the league. He always seems to have a great play against the Packers though. Even in 2018 the year the Cardinals won like 3 games, he had an amazing catch that helped pretty much ended the Packers playoff chances.

David Anaya II If memory serves correctly, Delhomme’s slump continued into 2009 - he threw 4 interceptions in an opening loss to the Eagles and had 18 interceptions total (and a 59 rating) in his last year as a starter for the Panthers 😔. Sad way to end a memorable run with Carolina.

If I may make a suggestion for a video: With the Broncos playing at Lambeau this week, it might be cool to have a video of the game in week 17 of the 2003 season where the Packers beat Denver at Lambeau, combined with the Cardinals beating the Vikings at the same time putting the Packers in the playoffs. Such a great moment. But either way, thanks for all the videos!
I remember that. That's a good suggestion. I was thinking 2001 bears vs either cleveland or san fransisco when mike brown returned 2 picks for game winning tds.
I remember watching this game at my friends house and had DeAngelo Williams in a playoff fantasy league. I was honestly shocked AZ had killed them, even though I was living in AZ and surrounded by Cardinal fans at the time lol.
After about the first 10 minutes or so, the Cards completely thrashed the Panthers but all game long Johnston was openly rooting for them. He should have been wearing a Panthers jersey.
This really was a shocking upset at the time. The Cardinals had been obliterated almost every game they played on the East Coast that season, and they had a poor run defense going up against Carolina's lethal backfield. For them to not only win but dominate came out of nowhere. Seemed like their defense flipped a switch that playoff run and proved that they were a lot more talented than they had shown.

Carolina has made the playoffs in 8 of it’s 27 seasons as a franchise. Arizona has made the playoffs in 5 of the last 27 seasons. Despite 1 team reaching the postseason less than once every 3 years and the other doing so less than once every 5 years, Carolina and Arizona have BOTH made the playoffs FOUR times. Not only that but they’ve played each other in the playoffs THREE times. Since 1995 there has been about a 10 percent chance that Carolina was one of the teams involved in any given NFC playoff game and about a 6 percent chance that Arizona was one of the 2 teams playing that day. Statistically there should’ve been around a 0.6 percent chance of the Panthers and Cardinals meeting in the playoffs. Yet they have done so in 3 different seasons. The Eagles and Seahawks have made the playoffs 12 and 14 times in the last 19 years. Philly has played 22 NFC postseason games and Seattle has played 24 of their own. They’ve faced each other exactly once in the playoffs. 2 teams that are constantly in the playoffs and usually win a game or 2 when they get there have faced each other once. One time in 46 combined games. 3 of the Panthers last 7 playoff matchups have been against a team that participated in just 6 percent of NFC postseason games. You know what else? The Cardinals have won 6 playoff games in their 5 postseason appearances since 1995. That’s 1 less than the Dolphins, Texans, Lions, and Bengals have won in their combined 24 playoff games and 2 of those wins were by the Texans against the Bengals.

That's a trigger warning for Vikings fans.
Or Super Bowl 32
LARRY FITZGERALD IS AMAZING
Delhomme played good for us but the truth its sometimes he had these games this one just so happened to be one and this was his birthday
I remember watching this game at my friends house and had DeAngelo Williams in a playoff fantasy league. I was honestly shocked AZ had killed them, even though I was living in AZ and surrounded by Cardinal fans at the time lol.
I forgot how bad Jake Delhome played in this game
Fitz deserves a super bowl.
Delhomme looked tentative all night and those tipped interceptions were just icing on the crappy birthday cake
U need to do one of Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell best game together
After about the first 10 minutes or so, the Cards completely thrashed the Panthers but all game long Johnston was openly rooting for them. He should have been wearing a Panthers jersey.
Haley to Warner: even if it doesn't look like Larry is open...just throw it to him.
2008 was a great year
This really was a shocking upset at the time.
Some ideas for Week 3 of the 2019 Season:
Saints-Seahawks Beast Quake playoff game
Giants-Bucs 2007 Wild Card
Jets upset Tom Brady in Foxboro with Mark freaking Sanchez
Miami-Dallas Thanksgiving Leon Lett misplay
🙂
This game brings back terrible memories from my childhood😭😭
I feel like the 2020 Cardinals roster is the BEST roster we've EVER had💯💯💯💯we are DEFINITELY Super Bowl contenders this season, legitimately,Larry STILL playin at this same amazing level, now you add HOPKINS!! AND you can't forget about Christian Kirk!! All I feel like we need is another really good corner across from Pat Pete && a more polished Tight End,maybe a few trades/signings at the O-Line and we gon be that much harder to beat come time for the Playoffs
Didn't they pick up Robert Alford last season? He was above average in Atlanta. Was injured or something.
@@andrewflynn113 yeah,he still on the team but he got injured early asf, what I'm wantin ta see is Pat P at CB1,someone like a Marcus Peters at CB2 && Alford playin in the slot CB,then we almost guaranteed a playoff appearance
Marcus Peters as a CB2? Bro you insane, no way he'd ever take a CB2 role or paystub when he's a bonafide CB1 on 25+ teams. Let that guy they drafted last year develop as CB2, he got the size for bigger receivers while Peterson has the athleticism for the fast ones, shift Alford to slot, and draft some OL help. Cards OL pretty below average, it helps that Murray is small and quick but he got sacked a helluva lot last year
@@andrewflynn113 i dont mean specifically Peters I jus mean someone LIKE that, like a one of the better "household" names is what I meant
I don't care what anyone says, this man is Jerry Rice & Randy Moss level!!!
Jake Delhomme was never the same after this disastrous performance.
This game was almost as hard to stomach as the cam newton fumble fail in the superbowl
Jake Delhomme was in his peak postseason form! 😂
And people Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie had elite speed, length and put some of the best WRs in straight jackets 🔒!
delhomme was just 2000s kirk cousins

Kurt Warner and Peyton Manning both played with Marshall Faulk and Edgerrin James as their RBs.
Jesus, I remember this shit. This game rocked. Super Bowl sucked tho.
Its a top 5 superbowl but the fact we lost sucks.
Was there a particular reason that Warner stumbled a lot on handoffs/PA fakes?
