    The way our farmers take care of pruning young branches to become a complete dragon fruit tree, the tree is 5 months old. Everyone has different ways of taking care of them. I just share what I know, for everyone's reference🌵🌵🌵😊😊😊😜

    I’m just curious. Why do you plant it in a pot ? Instead on the ground , you have more than enough space in your farm….

      Perhaps, he had some mix of soil used...better in a pot be ause it was concentrated.

    • @rafimiki
      @rafimiki 2 роки тому

      Because of the posts, he would have to destroy the ground do add the posts which wouldn’t be perfectly straight. Also he adds compost and wheat to keep it moist (as you see in the shots) and it helps incase he has to move them or get rid of a plant since it isnt completely in the ground

    • @rafimiki
      @rafimiki 2 роки тому

      Also, since the roots wouldn’t go to the side at the start, the roots mostly go strait down and barely go to the side (once its reached the bottom of the pot) so it doesnt compete with the other nearby df plants

    Hello there, may I ask you ... I have a small pytahaya and it is full of air roots, should I cut them out or just let them be?( its about 10-15 roots on 30cm branch). If the plant has these roots, does it mean that it needs more air humidity? I live in central Europe so, the climate here is not so good for it maybe.

      Bees and flying insects. Best results come from you hand propagating. Take makeup brush and dust the pollen from flower into a baggie. Go from flower to flower and brush on the pollen. You will get better pollination and more results of fruit.

    I don't understand the rationale behind of planting Dragon Fruit trees inside a pot when you have the ready soil to plant and the land look quite fertile. The branches should be green but look so yellowish because nutrient is not enough.

      Yes just root in potting soil, keep moist, in a month or so, you have roots, transfer to larger pot with bamboo stakes to hold cuttings in place.

    • @tylertowne8648
      @tylertowne8648 2 роки тому

      @@jenniferbogle6809 yes, root the scrap cuttings. Let wet end of cutting callous over after 3 or 4 days, put cutting in 4 inch pot with a stake to hold it up. Water lightly over the next month, it will get roots. Transfer to a larger pot with 3 more cuttings around large base, this is the permanent home.

    What's specific fertilizer you use, the growth is so fast. or what NPK percentage you are using.

      You should fertilize every 10 to 15 days
